시민의식조사를 통한 도시 야간경관디자인 컨셉 표현 (The Expression of Design Concept on Night Landscape through the Citizen-Minded Survey)

  • Light was the symbol of the city's prosperity and culture. People can walk around the city at the night time with safe. Now light is used with beauty and function at the same time. This study is the example how to draw the lighting design concept in specific city and district based on the citizen-minded survey. The citizen-minded survey makes a new chance taking the goodness and characteristics from local city specially and select the site for applying the specific opinion and requirement in the city. The expression of design concept on night landscape design gives the fresh image to the city during the night time. Because people feel the free and dynamic mood in the night landscape lighting, it is very important to set and express the design concept on night landscape design. The result of this study was applied in the Daegu city. In particular, the distribution complex's night landscape lighting in the Daegu was designed with specific concept expression from the citizen-minded survey. Making and expressing the design concept on night landscape design is basic for unity and diversity in the city.

The Kinetography Model - a Mean of Producing Space Scores, Based on Recording Users' Movement in Space

  • When one enters a space, perceives the material geometry of that space. Walking inside buildings or across the city is generating a geometry of moving bodies that fills the space. These two geometries coexist: a static geometry of the space and an invisible one of the moving bodies. The space that we actually experience, whether interior or exterior, is a continuous network of voids. Individuals' movement will fill the network of voids that we understand as "the city". Our environment of voids and borders is organized by the means of architecture and urbanism. The geometry generated by motion affects both the limits and the voids, thus space can be defined by the tandem of the moving bodies and their environment. We propose in this study a mean of investigating users' movement and thus understanding the qualities of space while introducing the concept of space scores as analytical maps and design tools.

도시 브랜드 이미지가 도시 브랜드 인지도와 도시 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of City Brand Image on City Brand Recognition and City Loyalty)

  • Purpose - Competition among cities around the world are rapidly shifting from competition of production factors such as labor costs and quality of raw materials to competition between the consumption factors such as quality of life, settlement environment, culture, and place. The entry into the era of competition between consumption factors is not only attracting investment for strengthening city competitiveness, but also actively inducing urban image reconstruction and new image making. Therefore, various studies related to urban marketing are being carried out. The object of this study is to investigate the effect of city brand image on city brand recognition and city loyalty based on the questionnaire of external citizens about Changwon city. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from 200 Seoul and Busan citizens. Reliability and exploratory factor analysis were conducted through the SPSS program, and confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were conducted by using the AMOS program. Results - As a result of the hypothesis test, six hypotheses were adopted among the nine hypotheses. In summary, pleasant image, dynamic image, and good administrative image have a significant positive impact on city brand recognition. The magnanimous image did not have a significant effect on city brand recognition. In the impact of city brand image on city loyalty, magnanimous image and good administrative image had significant positive impact on city loyalty. Pleasant images and dynamic images did not significantly affect city loyalty. In addition, city brand recognition positively influenced city loyalty. Conclusions - First, it is possible to say that there is an academic significance of this research in its contribution to regional revitalization by investigating mutual influences in urban aspect by combining place marketing with image, recognition, and loyalty. Secondly, kinetic images such as pleasant image and dynamic image have more influence on recognition, and static images such as magnanimous images have more influence on loyalty. So, further research will be necessary to establish theories. Finally, In order to increase city brand recognition and city loyalty to local city, efforts should be made to improve urban images such as pleasant image, magnanimous image, dynamic image, and good administrative image.

미국 텍사스주 러벅시의 도시 구조와 지속가능한 도시 재생 (The Urban Structure and Sustainable Regeneration in Lubbock City, Texas)

  • 최근에는 도시의 환경적, 경제적, 사회적 조화를 주제로 하는 문화 역사 정체성 생태 중심의 지속가능한 재생이 다양하게 제시되고 있다. 하지만, 도시 재생의 기반이 되는 도시 구조는 배제되어 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 농 목축 지역을 배경으로 성장한 미국 텍사스주 러벅시의 도시 구조, 도시 및 재생 계획 분석을 기반으로 지속가능한 도시 재생에 접근하였다. 러벅시는 1950년대에 기존의 약 300%나 되는 시역 확장에도 불구하고, 1970년대 이후 남서부 및 서부로의 부유층 이전과 함께 도심 쇠퇴가 심화된다. 1980년대부터 주민 중심의 재개발을 위한 조직체가 구성되고, 민관기업 중심의 재생 계획 및 시행이 지속되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근의 도시 재생 관점, 도시 전체와의 연계라는 측면에서 지속 가능한 도시 재생 전략을 도출하였다.

  • Artist-in-residence which gets chances to create by artists' moving and encountering new culture is heightening its level in 21th century. Under the circumstance that issue of cultural diversity and the role of artists which is for city revitalization and sustainability are affect residency program in the midst of highly proceeded globalization that international exchange. Therefore, in the aspect of creative city, a new model is creating by reuse of abandoned industrial facilities and Asia or Eastern country become the subject in residency program management, the issue of cultural diversity is getting more important, programs based on project not just residence are managing. Furthermore, it has inter-country cooperating system in the rage of cultural management. It means that artists' space of creating activity has a new, social role in spontaneously we need to approach to following model in Korea, as well.

메소포타미아 고대도시의 변천과정과 특징에 관한 연구 (A Study on the characteristic, and Changing Process in Ancient Mesopotamia cities)

  • 메소포타미아 문명은 서기전 3800년경에 시작된 수메르 문명에서 시작하여 서기전 600년경 사라진 아시리아와 바빌로니아 문명에 이르기까지 지리적 특징으로 인해 중첩되며 발달하였다. 하기에 3000여년간 지속된 도시의 변화과정을 살펴봄은 초창기 인류문명과 도시에 어떤 요소들이 중요하게 작용 되었는지를 알 수 있는 중요한 동기가 된다. 이 시기에 있었던 30여개의 도시 중 13개의 도시를 선정하여 분석한 결과 첫째 도시의 기능이 농경문화에서 점차 상업, 무역, 군사기능으로 전환되고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 둘째 도시의 위치가 도시기능과 연관되어 메소포타미아 남부에서 점차 북부로 이동하고 있었고, 셋째 도시의 형태는 '텔' 이라는 구릉위의 도시형태가 점차 평지로 내려오고 있었고 나중에는 지형에 의지하지 않는 계획도시의 형태를 띄게 되었으며, 넷째 신전중심의 도시구조가 왕궁중심의 도시 구조로 서서히 변화하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

대덕과학문화의 거리 조성 기본계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Master Plan of Street Creation in Daedeok Science Culture)

  • 최근 대전시는 4차 산업혁명과 더불어 자연과 과학, 문화의 도시로 변모하고자 대덕특구를 중심으로 미래형 도시를 계획하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 대전시 도룡동의 과학 공원 네거리부터 (구)대덕과학문화센터에 이르는 1.5km 거리를 특성별로 구획하고 특색에 맞는 IT기술을 접목한 공간디자인 컨셉을 제안함으로써 향후 대덕과학문화의 거리 조성 추진 과정의 기본 방향을 제시하는 가이드라인의 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 공간 현황을 분석, 사용자 중심의 계획을 위한 체험 중심의 공간디자인 컨셉을 도출하고자 한다. 본 연구는 현장조사를 통해 도출된 문제점을 통해 개선이 필요한 인프라를 중심으로 IT기술을 접목하고, 스마트스트리트(Smart Street)로써 대덕과학문화의 거리를 탈바꿈할 수 있는 방법을 모색하고자 한다. 현장조사를 통해 얻은 시사점으로 (1)쾌적성과 안전성 문제의 지속성, (2)통일성 및 효율성 문제, (3)아이덴티티 결여 문제의 경험성과 연계하여 사용자 중심의 스마트시티의 방향성을 활용하여 해결 목표를 설정하였다. 사용자 중심의 거리 조성을 위해 인프라만을 기준으로 하는 획일적인 조닝을 지양하고 사용자 행위를 중심으로 하는 조닝을 시도하였다.

인상주의 회화에 나타난 근대도시의 기호와 여성패션 (Women's Fashion and Signs of the Modern City Expressed on Paintings by the Impressionists)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the meaning of women's fashion in the city culture of Paris in the nineteenth century by examining paintings by the Impressionists. The research method was based on literature survey and visual examination paintings, 224 paintings(by ${\acute{E}}douard$ Manet, James Tissot, Edgar DeGas, Gustave Cailleboat, Jean $B{\acute{e}}raud$, Pierre-Auguste Renoir) were analyzed in this study. The results are as follows: In the nineteenth century, Paris was a new city with new department stores. Department stores were centers of consumer culture, where the power of capital appeared rather than class. The spatial backgrounds of Impressionist paintings were places where they could see the consumption and leisure culture of urban people, such as outdoor parks, cafes, theaters, ballrooms, bars, streets, and the boats. As for the characteristics of women's fashion in paintings, it was found that various changes of artificial silhouettes were developed. Various frills, ruffles, gatherings, and pleats were thought to have been made by machines. In the urban space, many of the women's costumes stood out because of the black color. Not only the black color came to represent widows and mourning but the black outfits worn by women enhanced their sensual appearances. Women's fashion expressed in Impressionist paintings eventually contained a modern meaning that changed from 'class symbol' to 'expression of taste'. And the symbol of consumer and leisure culture showed, and a Demimonde's fashion became a trendsetter, and painters were used as an important element expressing modernity.

  • With longevity (75 years plus and still increasing) now commonly achievable, the new challenge for individuals and society is less concerned with adding more years to life, though that remains important, and more with adding life to years. To explore the quality of long life more fully, a concept broader than healthy ageing or active ageing is needed. For this purpose, the present article describes a framework of Positive Ageing, also known as Successful Ageing, which views the quality of long life as comprising good health, physical and cognitive functional independence, and meaningful engagement with life. Narrowly defined, it refers to old people ageing well in all these aspects. More broadly defined, it refers to ageing well from midlife on. The framework also identifiesvariables that may affect the process of ageing positively. These variables include the social-cognitive styles of control, humour and future-time perspective on the one hand, and on the other hand, resources based on finance, social network and lifestyle.

의용소방대의 효율적 운영에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Efficient Management of Volunteer Fire Department)

  • 본 논문은 의용소방대의 조직문화가 구성원의 활동만족도에 미치는 영향을 관찰하려는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 세종특별자치시라는 범위를 한정하여 의용소방대원 182명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 조사된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 win 프로그램을 활용하여 설문문항의 신뢰도분석을 실시하였고, 변인들의 빈도분석과 기술통계를 실시하였다. 조직문화의 하위 문화유형인 집단문화, 발전문화, 위계문화, 합리문화가 활동만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 집단문화와 위계문화는 유의확률 0.05 이하에서 활동만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 의용소방대원이 인식하는 문화유형이 집단문화 그리고 발전문화일수록 의용소방대원의 활동만족도는 높게 나타났다. 이 논문은 우리나라 의용소방대의 효율적 운영을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
