과채 재배농가의 경영현황 및 경영효율성 분석 : 딸기·토마토를 중심으로 (An Analysis of Economic Efficiency of Fruits and Vegetables Farms: the Case of Strawberries and Tomatoes Farms)

  • This paper analyzes economic efficiency of strawberries and tomatoes farms using the data envelopment analysis (DEA). We examine how production characteristics and farm size affect overall efficiency (OE), allocative efficiency (AE), and technological efficiency (TE). We also survey sample farm households from the Farm Income Investigation database of Rural Development Administration to investigate management and cultivation techniques and to analyze economic efficiency by technique. Implications for improving efficiency are suggested in the conclusion.

Hybridization and Use Of Grapes as an Oviposition Substrate Improves the Adaptation of Olive Fly Bactrocera oleae (Rossi) (Diptera: Tephritidae) to Artificial Rearing Conditions

  • The olive fly Bactrocera oleae (Rossi) is the key pest for olive cultivation worldwide. Substantial effort has been invested in the development of the sterile insect technique (SIT) to control this pest. One of the limitations to develop SIT technology for olive fruit fly is the low ability of wild females to lay eggs in other medium than olive fruits, and their slow adaptation to oviposition in artificial substrates. In the present study, fruit grapes were used as an alternative egg collection medium to harvest eggs and young larvae from freshly colonized wild strains originating from France, Italy, Spain and Croatia. The larvae were allowed to develop into the fruits until the second instar, before they were extracted out and further reared on a standard artificial diet. Furthermore, F1 to F4 female flies were alternatively offered wax bottles to oviposit. Finally, the performance of hybrid strains created from crosses between wild and long colonised flies was assessed. The results showed that females of all 4 wild strains readily oviposited eggs in grapes and from the F2 generation onward, females from all strains were adapted to laying eggs in wax bottles. No difference was observed in eggs and pupae production among all strains tested. The findings are discussed for their implications on SIT application against olive fruit fly.

  • Epifluorescence microscopy and direct viable counting methods have shown that only 0.01-0.1% of all the microbial cells from marine environments form colonies on standard agar plates. To culture novel marine microorganisms, high throughput culturing (HTC) techniques were developed to isolate cells in very low nutrient media. This approaches was designed to address microbial metabolic precesses that occur at natural substrate concentrations and cell densities, which are typically about three orders of magnitude less than in common laboratory media. Approximately 5000 cultures of pelagic marine bacteria were examined over the course of 3 years. Up to 14% of cells from coastal seawater were cultured using this method, a number that is 1400 to 140-fold higher than obtained by traditional microbiological culturing techniques. Among the cultured organisms are many unique phylogenetic lineages that have been named as new phyla (7), orders (2, 5, 12), families (3), and genera (1, 4, 6). Over 90% of the cells recovered by this method do not replicate in standard agar plating, the most common method of microbial cell cultivation.

  • For standard size of farmland in Korea is small, we have to consume huge labor for cultivation and efficiency of machine is low. We practice the project, which make size of farmland enlarge. For many factors have to consider in design process in case of large-scale farmland, there are difficulties for comparing alternatives if we design it manually. So we need to techniques for establishing various alternatives and choosing the optimum design by the computer. In this study, fixing the boundary of project using the RGIS (Rural Geographical Information System) which standard electronic map in Korea. In the boundary, we analysis the many characteristics of farm land, optimize the adjustment process of field unit of farmland. In this process, we develop automatic farmland division techniques. The results of adapting the developed system show the usefulness to enlarge the size of farmland about 200%.

귀농 교육의 만족도, 성취도, 효과성 분석에 관한 연구 (An analysis of Satisfaction, Achievement and Effectiveness of Trainee's on Education Return Farm)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of training Program for return farm. In detail, this study evaluated the trainees' satisfaction, achievement, and effectiveness of the education. This Study polled 250 trainees who presented the Return farm training program. The results of analysis are as follows; First, the satisfaction and the reliability on the educational institutions of return farm was the highest. Second, Trainees' replied that their Agricultural Techniques was improved. Especially, 'business administrative ability, cultivation techniques & management ability, and agricultural machinery using ability were enhanced. Their self-confidence of return farm was increased. Third, the correlation of satisfaction, achievement and effectiveness of training program was statistically significant. The findings of this study will be used to plan of return farm education program.

다층 재배선반을 갖는 하이브리드 식물공장의 열유동 특성 (Thermal Flow Characteristics of a Hybrid Plant Factory with Multi-layer Cultivation Shelves)

  • 식물공장은 환경적 조건을 조절하여 계절이나 장소에 관계없이 농산물을 일정하게 생산하는 식물재배 시스템이다. 식물공장에 있어서 내부의 열 유동은 식물공장의 중요한 변수이다. 본 논문에서는 다층 재배선반을 갖는 하이브리드 식물공장 내의 열유동 특성을 수치 시뮬레이션을 통해 연구하였다. 열 유동 특성의 수치해를 얻기 위해 유한체적법(Finite Volume Method)을 이용하였다. 수치해석 모델에 있어서는 저 레이놀드수(low Reynolds number) ${\kappa}-{\epsilon}$ 난류모델을 이용하였으며, 해석방법으로는 비압축성 점성유동 영역과 압력경계 조건을 사용하였다. 수치해석에 있어, 3종류의 유입 공기속도와 재배선반의 위치변화에 따른 식물공장 내의 열유동 특성을 상용 프로그램인 Solid Works Flow simulation을 사용하였다. 수치해석을 통한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 송풍기를 통한 식물공장 내의 유입 공기속도를 1.6 m/s로 하였을 때, Case 3의 재배선반 배치가 비교적 균일한 온도 분포를 나타내었고, LED광만을 사용한 Case 1의 배치는 시험베드(test bed) TB2와 TB3 영역의 낮은 온도분포로 인하여 서큘레이터 등을 통한 추가적인 온도 제어가 필요할 것으로 판단되었다. 둘째, 식물재배 LED 인공광(DYLED47)의 청색광과 적색광의 비율을 1:1로 100% 구동 시, 재배선반의 평균 온도가 약 $3^{\circ}C$ 증가하였다. 본 논문은 한국산학기술학회 논문지 심사용 투고요령입니다.

우리나라에서 Alfalfa 재배기술 향상을 위한 재배연구 Data 분석 (Data Analysis of Alfalfa Cultivation Research to Improve the Cultivation Techniques in the Republic of Korea)

  • 본 연구는 국내 알팔파의 안정적인 생산을 위해 기존에 재배연구에서 수행한 재배기술을 조사하고 추가적으로 연구해야 될 연구를 제시하기 위해서 수행하였다. 연구에 사용한 자료는 1983~2008년까지 총 270점의 알팔파 재배실험 자료로 재배지역, 재배지, 품종, 파종, 수확횟수, 시비 및 건물수량 등을 수집하였다. 국내 알팔파의 건물수량은 12,536 kg/ha 으로 나타났으며 지역에 따른 차이가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 알팔파는 대부분 밭에서 재배가 되고 있었는데, 국내 알팔파 생산량을 높이기 위해서는 간척지 및 유휴지를 이용할 필요가 있으며 이를 개량할 토지개량제 연구가 필요하다. 국내에서 재배한 알팔파는 53개 품종이었으나 기존의 자료에서는 알팔파 품종선발 기준인 Fall dormancy를 고려한 연구는 전무하여 추가적인 연구가 필요하다. 시비는 각 비료의 성분을 다양한 수준으로 고려하지 않았으며 특히 알팔파 생산량의 증가를 고려할 때 K에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 알팔파의 수확은 지역에 따라 목초의 생육가능일수가 달라 수확횟수가 달랐으며, 수확횟수가 증가함에 따라 건물수량이 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 이는 우리나라에서 수확횟수에 따라 알팔파의 생산량을 높일 수 있을 것으로 생각되어 적정수준의 수확횟수를 제시하기 위한 연구가 필요하다.

감귤 플라보노이드 성분의 추출 및 정제방법 개발의 기술가치평가 (A Study on the Technology Evaluation of Development of Separation and Purification Techniques of Flavonoid in Citrus)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 농촌진흥청 국립원예특작과학원 감귤시험장에서 개발된 감귤의 플라보노이드 성분의 추출 및 정제방법 개발의 기술가치를 IRR, NPV를 통해 평가하는 것이다. 이는 농업 R&D사업의 효율성과 실용성 제고를 위하여 이용될 수 있을 것이다. 분석결과에 따르면, 감귤의 플라보노이드 성분의 추출 및 정제방법 개발에 따른 기술 가치평가액은 3,155 백만원 ~ 6,518 백만원으로 추정되고, 추출물 적용단가에 따라 순현재가치는 5,541~18,773백만원, 내부수익율 IRR은 할인율(11.9%)보다 큰 28.3%~61.2%로 높게 나타나 경제적 타당성이 높은 것으로 평가된다.

한약재 포제 가공의 현대적 연구 현황 (A Literature Survey of the Modern Techniques Used for the Processing of Herbal Medicines)

  • Herbal medicines have been used worldwide, particularly in the Far East countries, for thousands of years. Herbal medicines comprise complex mixtures of different phytochemical substances, and their nature may vary substantially depending on many factors related to the cultivation condition, area and harvest time. The processing of the herbal medicines significantly affects their pharmacological and toxicological properties. In this paper, we discuss current research that deals with the techniques for processing Chinese herbal medicines. These results will provide a scientific basis for developing new techniques for the processing of herbal medicines.

인삼의 연생과 식물체 부위별 무기영양성분 함량과 흡수량 비교 (Comparative Analysis on Concentration and Uptake Amount of Major Mineral Nutrients in Plant Tissues and Years Old of Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer)

  • The management and the use of major mineral nutriments such as nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium, etc have been practiced and improved in various cultivating methods of Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer. The purposes of this study were to examine the content of major mineral nutrients on different ginseng aging from 1 to 6 years old, to analyze their uptake and utilization in tissues of ginseng, and to find out their proper managing techniques throughout the cultivation of ginseng. In case of the leaves, the N content was not clearly different from 1 to 6 years old, while the content of P and K was generally decreased throughout the cultivating years. In case of the roots, the content of N and K was gradually decreased from 1 to 6 years old, while the P content was increased until 3 years old, decreased at 4 years old, increased again at 5 years old, and decreased again at 6 years old. The uptake amount of N was increased in root of ginseng from 1 to 6 years old, 0.02 to 2.79kg/10a based on dry weight, respectively. Other minerals of P, K, Ca, and Mg were increased for the cultivating year. Comparing the uptake amounts of N, P, K with different cultivating year, they were the highest uptake amount at 4 years old and then were decreased. The management techniques of major mineral in cultivation of ginseng would be studied and evaluated more in order to have better ginseng production.
