3차원 인체형상자료를 활용한 토르소 마스터패턴 개발 - 30대 바른 체형 여성을 대상으로 - (A study of Developing Torso Master Pattern Using 3D body Measurement Data - Focusing on Women in their thirties proper Body Types -)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a torso pattern that is highly representative for the proper body shape of women in their thirties. Size data of the women with age of 30 through 39 from the database of Size Korea 2004 were used for the study. In order to develop a master pattern which will be used as the benchmark for grading of research group, 4 existing torso block drafting methods were compared based on the data gathered and the block with the highest evaluation score was utilized as a reference point. For the analysis, data was divided into four types, only the data of 138 subjects which were evaluated at least by four or more experts as valid were used for the study. The major results can be summarized as follow. The women of bust girth of 91cm and height of 160cm which was turned out to be representative type of research group were used as standard measurement for the purpose of reflecting not only curve length of the 3D analysis measurement but also the difference between front and back thickness to the pattern. Dart locations were set based on front and back torso ease, shoulder area revisions, front sagging length 1.5cm and cross section crevice length analysis. According to the experts' appearance evaluation of the pattern was found to be better than the control pattern which was regarded as the best among 4 patterns created based on existing torso block drafting methods.

수치해석을 통한 수직 밀폐형 지중열 교환기의 열전달 거동 연구 (Thermal Behavior of Vertical Ground Heat Exchanger by Numerical Simulation)

  • This paper presents a series of numerical simulations on the thermal performance and sectional efficiency of a closed-loop vertical ground heat exchanger (U-loop) equipped in a geothermal heat pump system (GHP). A 2-D finite element analysis, ANSYS, was employed to evaluate the temperature distribution on the borehole cross section involving HDPE pipe/grout/soil formation to compare the sectional efficiency between the conventional U-loop and a new latticed HDPE pipe system which is equipped with a thermally insulating latice in order to reduce thermal interference between the inflow and outflow pipes. In addition, a 3-D finite volume analysis (Fluent) was used to simulate the operating process of the closed-loop vertical ground heat exchanger by considering the effect of grout's thermal properties, rate of circulation pump, distance between the inflow and outflow pipes, and the effectiveness of the latticed HDPE pipe system. It was observed that the thermal interference between the two strands of U-loop is of importance in determining the efficiency of the ground heat exchanger, and thus it is highly recommendable to modify the cross section configuration of the conventional U-loop system by including a thermally insulating latice between the two strands.

골재의 형상 특성과 인공신경망에 기반한 콘크리트 압축강도 예측 연구 (Study on Prediction of Compressive Strength of Concrete based on Aggregate Shape Features and Artificial Neural Network)

  • 본 연구에서는 일반강도 범위 콘크리트의 단면에서 골재 형상의 특성을 추출하고 이를 인공신경망과 이미지 프로세싱 기술에 적용하여 콘크리트의 압축강도를 예측하였다. 이를 위하여 면적, 둘레, 길이 등과 같은 일반적인 골재 형상 특성과 함께 골재의 거리-각도 특징을 수치적으로 표현하고 물성치 예측에 활용하였다. 그 결과, 콘크리트 압축강도에 영향을 미치는 주요변수를 사용하지 않고 단면의 골재 형상 특성만을 사용하여 압축강도 예측이 가능하였으며, 인공신경망 알고리즘 구축을 통해 예측 강도와 실제 강도의 상대오차 4.43% 이내의 범위에서 콘크리트 압축강도를 예측할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결과를 기반으로 골재의 거리-각도 특징을 활용하여 콘크리트의 유동성, 휨·인장강도 등 다양한 특성을 예측도 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Dry sliding wear behavior of ultra-fine grained (UFG) plain low carbon dual phase steel, of which microstructure consists of hard martensite in a ductile ferrite matrix, has been investigated. The wear characteristics of the UFG dual phase steel was compared with that of a coarse grained dual phase steel under various applied load conditions. Dry sliding wear test were carried out using a pin-on-disk type tester at various loads of 1N to 100N under a constant sliding speed condition of 0.20m/s against an AISI 52100 bearing steel ball at room temperature. The sliding distance was fixed as 1000m for all wear tests. The wear rate was calculated by dividing the weight loss, measured to the accuracy of 10-5g by the specific gravity and sliding distance. The worn surfaces and wear debris were analyzed by SEM, EDS and profilometer. Micro-vickers hardness of the cross section of worn surfaces were conducted to analyze strain hardening underneath the contact surfaces. The wear mechanism of the UFG dual phase steel was investigated with emphasis on the unstable nature of the grain boundaries of the UFG microstructure.

파인블랭킹 공정에서 전단면의 크기 변형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the share surface size deformation of Fine Blanking Process)

  • 파인블랭킹 금형을 제작하는 주목적은 전단면의 크기를 최대가 되도록 하기 위함이다. 본 연구에서는 전단면의 크기에 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 클리어런스는 재료 두께의 1%로 고정시키고 전단라인에서 Vee-Ring 중심까지의 거리 변화, V-Ring 각도의 변화, 전단 속도를 변화시키면서 전단 면적의 크기 변화를 연구 고찰하였다. 각 실험으로부터 시편을 채취하여 전단면의 크기를 분석한 결과 V-링의 거리는 2mm, 각도는 외측$45^{\circ}$/내측$30^{\circ}$일 때, 전단 속도는 6.4m/min일 때 전단면의 크기가 가장 크게 됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • Dry sliding wear behavior of low carbon dual phase steel, of which microstructure consists of hard martensite in a ductile ferrite matrix, has been investigated. The wear characteristics of the dual phase steel was compared with that of a plain carbon steel which was normalized at $950^{\circ}C$ for 30min and then air-cooled. Dry sliding wear tests were carried out using a pin-on-disk type tester at various loads of 1N to 10N under a constant sliding speed condition of 0.2m/sec against an AISI 52100 bearing steel ball at room temperature. The sliding distance was fixed as 1000m for all wear tests. The wear rate was calculated by dividing the weight loss measured to the accuracy of $10^{-5}g$ by the specific gravity and sliding distance. The worn surfaces and wear debris were analyzed by SEM, EDS and a profilomter. Micro vickers hardness values of the cross section of worn surface were measured to analyze strain hardening behavior underneath the wearing surfaces. The were rate of the dual phase steel was lower than the plain carbon steel. Oxidation on the sliding surface and strain hardening were attributed for the higher wear resistance of the dual phase steel.

원관내 층류 왕복유동에 의한 열적발달영역에서의 열전달 (Heat Transfer by Liminar Oscillating Pipe Flow in Thermally Developing Region)

  • Heat transfer by laminar oscillating flow in a circular pipe has been studied analytically. The general solution with respect to the arbitrary wall boundary condition is obtained by superposing the fluid temperatures with the sinusoidal wall temperature distributions. The fulid temperature distributions are two dimensional, but uniform flow assumption is used to simplify the velocity distribution. The heat transfer characteristics in the thermally developing regions are analyzed by applying the general solution to the two cases of thermal boundary conditions in which the wall temperature and wall heat flux distributions have a square-wave form, respectively. The results show that the length of the thermally developing region becomes larger in proportion to the oscillation frequency at slow oscillation and eventually approaches to the value comparable to the swept distance as the frequency increases. The time and cross-section averaged Nusselt number in the developing region is inversely proportional to the square root of the distance from the position where the wall boundary condition is changed suddenly. In the developed region, Nusselt number is only determined by the oscillation frequency.

Continuous straight archwire에 의하여 발생하는 force system의 분석 (Analysis of force system developed by continuous straight archwire)

  • Edgewise bracket에 continuous straight archwire를 장착 했을 때 각 bracket에 발생 하는 force system은 statically indeterminate system이기 때문에 임상적으로 측정이 어렵다. 이에 본 연구는 linear beam theory를 도입하여 full arch에 straight wire가 장착된 경우 geometry(a/b), 재질, 단면의 모양, interbracket distance에 관계없이 발생 가능한 모든 상태를 설명할 수 있는 식을 유도하고 일례의 분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Bilateral fixed beam의 양끝에서 발생하는 force system을 알 수 있는 계산식을 얻었다. 2. 이를 이용하여 continuous straight archwire가 장착된 경우 각 치아에 발생하는 force system을 알 수 있다. 3. Continuous straight archwire장착시 영구변형의 발생여부와 발생위치를 예측 할 수 있다.

연속류 도로구간의 수막정보 발생구간 추정 및 적용연구 - 서울시 내부순환도로를 중심으로 - (Development of Hydroplaning Estimation on an Uninterrupted Road)

  • PURPOSES : This research aims to estimate the occurrence of hydroplaning on roads based on the road alignment types and rainfall intensity in Seoul. METHODS : Three types of data were used for estimation of hydroplaning in this study. The Inner Circulation Road (12.5 km) to the Bukbu Expressway (7.4 km) in Seoul was selected as the test road and data was collected for road information using a probe-vehicle. Precipitation was observed from Automatic Weather System in Seoul. These data were interpolated by applying Inverse Distance Weighted Methodology for hydroplaning estimation. Finally, the water depth information of the roads was observed using an RCM411 device. RESULTS : This study demonstrated that the cross slope with small-angle-tilt or vertical section with large-angle-tilt are the primary factors causing hydroplaning on the roads. The flow velocity on steep slope is high; however, large drainage lengths result in hydroplaning on the roads. CONCLUSIONS : This result can contribute towards the reduction of car accidents on rainy days. Furthermore, information regarding hydroplaning can be delivered to drivers more rapidly and precisely in the future.
