훼손비탈면 복원을 위한 콩과목본류로서 참싸리 및 낭아초의 적정파종량에 관한 연구 (The Optimal Seeding Quantity of Lespedeza cyrtobotrya Miquel and Indigofera pseudo-tinctoria MATSUMURA as Leguminous Woody Plants for the Cut-slope Revegetation)

  • The purpose of the research is to identify the optimal seeding quantity of Lespedeza cyrtobotrya and Indigofera pseudo-tinctoria as leguminous woody plants for the cut-slope revegetation. To investigate the coverage ratio and appearance frequency, we divided Lespedeza cyrtobotrya and Indigofera pseudo-tinctoria into five treatment groups with various quantities of $0.0g/m^2$, $1.0g/m^2$, $2.4g/m^2$, $3.8g/m^2$, and $5.2g/m^2$. For each treatment group, we mixed the identical quantities of herbaceous flowers (Lotus corniculatus var. japonicus, Dianthus sinensis, Aster yomena and Pennisetum alopecuroides) seeds and cool-season turfgrasses (Festuca arundinacea and Poa pratensis) seeds. In this result, as the seeding quantity of Lespedeza cyrtobotrya and Indigofera pseudo-tinctoria increased in the spray, the coverage ratio for leguminous woody plants appeared to increase whereas the coverage ratio decreased in herbaceous flowers and cool-season turfgrasses. However, when the seeding quantity of Lespedeza cyrtobotrya and Indigofera pseudo-tinctoria exceeded $3.8g/m^2$ in the spray, the coverage ratio of leguminous woody plants rather decreased compared to four treatment groups less than $3.8g/m^2$ seeding ratio. Based on the longitudinal data of coverage ratio in five treatment groups, we observed the gradual process of a short-term succession in which the dominant species shifted in the following order: First, cool-season turfgrasses; Second, herbaceous flowers; Third, leguminous woody plants. Comparing the appearance frequency of Lespedeza cyrtobotrya and Indigofera pseudo-tinctoria, Lespedeza cyrtobotrya appeared more frequent in 2014 whereas Indigofera pseudo-tinctoria appeared to be relatively more frequent in 2015. As a result, Indigofera pseudo-tinctoria was discovered to be a dominant species among woody plants. In this study, we observed that the optimal seeding quantity of Lespedeza cyrtobotrya and Indigofera pseudo-tinctoria was $2.4g/m^2{\sim}3.8g/m^2$. Moreover, the coverage ratio of 29.1%~35.4% and appearance frequency of 4.6plants~5.8plants were found in the condition of optimal seeding quantity.

복부비만 성인 남성의 상의류 치수체계 제안 (Development of Suit-tops Size-system for Abdomen-obese Adult Males)

  • This helps plus-size consumers purchase ready-made clothes and improves fitness by analyzing the upper body shapes of abdomen-obese adult males; in addition, it creates a size system based on each size interval of obesity shapes. The criteria for the 572 male subjects surveyed were over 25 kg/㎡ of the BMI, over 90 cm of waist, and over 0.85 waist hip ratio. The results were as follows. First, the higher the age group, the higher the degree of abdominal obesity in each age group. The degree of obesity decreases age increase; however, was the risk of abdominal obesity increased. Second, Compared to standard body types, the average body size of Abdomen-obese males is significantly larger, especially in the waist area than in the chest area. Third, to propose a size system for abdominal obese adult males, 16 sections with a final 2% rate of appearance were finally adopted as suit-tops size system for abdominal obese adult males by applying a 3 cm dimension gap between each designation as specified in the KS standard. The coverage ratio for the 16 sections was 72.6% and the coverage effienciency was 4.5%. The results of this study can be used in a various clothes; in addition, the activation and segmentation of the plus-size market are also believed to be significant.

충진층식 스크러버의 스프레이 시스템 최적 설계에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (NUMERICAL STUDY ON THE OPTIMAL DESIGN OF SPRAY SYSTEM IN PACKED BED SCRUBBER)

  • This study evaluates the performance of the packed bed scrubber and proposes the optimization of spray system for improvements of collection efficiency. The packed bed scrubber is used primarily in the semiconductor manufacturing process. The mean diameter of entering solid particles in scrubber is the submicron. The impaction between water droplets and solid particles is an important factor in removing the solid particles. Thus, the coverage area of spray system influences on the collection efficiency. The collection efficiency of a single droplet is calculated through the mathematical model and numerical calculations are performed for coverage area for each nozzle type (Droplet diameters: 500, 319.5, $289.5{\mu}m$) and injected directions (0, 15, $30^{\circ}$). In case of nozzle type 3, the collection efficiency of a single droplet is highest but the collection efficiency of spray system has lowest value because the ratio of flow rate between the gas and water is below 0.1. The results show the coverage area ratio is about 85% in the case of nozzle type 3 and downward sirection $15^{\circ}$. It was shown that a coverage area increase by two times than an existing spray system. In simulation of demister, collection efficiency by demister is predicted about 80% and the pressure drop in demister is below 3.5 Pa.

일간지의 여성인물 보도방식의 차이게 관한 연구: 기자 성별과 조직 성비 요인의 영향력 분석 (Coverage Difference of Female Newsmakers among National Newspapers: Influences of Journalist Gender and Gender Ratio in the Newsroom)

  • 이 연구는 주요 일간지에서 기자 개인의 성별과 조직의 성비라는 두 요인이 여성인물의 보도에 어떤 차이를 유발하는지 검토하였다. 편집국의 기자 여성비를 고려하여 <<문화일보>>, <<조선일보>>, <<한겨레신문>>을 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 분석결과, 남성기자보다 여성기자가 다양한 직업군의 여성인물을 더 심층적이고 긍정적으로 그린다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 여성인물 보도방식은 신문사 조직 수준의 여성비와도 관련 있었는데, 기자 여성비가 높은 신문에서 상대적으로 더욱 여성 우호적인 보도경향을 관찰할 수 있었다. 아울러, 편집국의 여성비 증가가 여성기자보다 남성기자의 보도방식에 더 큰 변화를 가져온다는 사실도 확인하였다. 여성의 언론계 진출 증가가 여성보도에 제기하는 함의를 논의하였다.

  • In this study, we performed urrban climate simulation how both the factor of environmental land and artificial factors influence on the formation of urban temperature. With deducing quantitative data, this study could get more accurate results of the urban temperature using urban climate simulation system. In the case of natural land cover, it appeared that there are effects on the lowering temperature and the lower temperature rate appeared in the water land cover on the whole. This is considered as temperature in water land was low because of the characteristics of water land having evaporation latent heat was high and convective sensible heat was low. In case of building which has building coverage ratio, 5% with 10 floors and building coverage ratio, 15 % with 6 floors, it appears that the temperature in the water land is $33.6^{\circ}C$. In case of building coverage ratio 5%, temperature dropped when buildings has more than 4 stories. This is regarded as the size of building is bigger, the temperature dropped in relatively because of the fluctuation of the rate of solar heat from the land. At the present time, the urban temperature are higher because of various artificial factors in the city. With these results, this study supposed to be a basies of the future studies for considering both the composition of building coverate ratio and floor plan.

부동산가격변동이 은행의 건전성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Changes in Real Estate Prices on the Soundness of Korean Banks)

  • 본 연구는 부동산가격변동이 우리나라 은행의 건전성에 미치는 영향을 다중회귀모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 부동산가격변동은 대출의 증가를 통해 은행의 고정이하여신비율을 유의하게 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 거시경제변수 중에서 단기금리는 은행의 BIS 자기자본비율, 고정이하여신비율 및 유동성커버리지비율 등 모든 건전성 지표에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 은행특성지표 중에서 대출증가율은 BIS 자기자본비율에 유의한 음(-)의 영향을 미치고, 부동산담보대출비율은 유의한 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 고정이하여신비율은 BIS 자기자본비율에 유의한 음(-)의 영향을 미치고 유동성커리지비율은 BIS 자기자본비율에 유의한 음(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

탄천 생태경관보전지역에서의 10년간 하천경관 형성과정 (The Process of River Landscape for 10years in Tan-chun Ecological Landscape Reserve)

  • This study illustrated the process of bar structure and vegetation coverage to understand historical changes of riverbed and suppose adaptive management in Tan-chun ecological landscape reserve. The study site that lower reach of the Tan-chun are known as habitats of migratory bird and aquatic species with dynamic riverbed. Aerial photos from 2006 to 2016 and surveyed vegetation data in 2006 and 2016 were used by analysis of landscape changes and comparison of vegetation coverage. Study area is classified into 3 sites (A: straight site, B: meandering site, C: meandering and junction with Yangjae-cheon). The result showed that bar area of A and C sites gradually increased, B site decreased during 10 years. Also, ratio of bar area to vegetation coverage and level of vegetation coverage increased in all sites during 10 years. All sites seem to have experienced the terrestrialization with time. On the other hand, ratio of annual vegetation increased and ratio of perennial vegetation decreased in C site in 2016 compare to 2006. Because area of Japanese Hops (Humulus japonicas) as one type of annual vegetation increased, other vegetation could not grow up by its powerful expandability. It is time to make active adaptive management based on not only continuos monitoring but also revaluation of river conditions in order to enhance habitat quality and quantity in Tan-chun ecological landscape reserve.

Development of Noninformative Priors in the Burr Model

  • In this paper, we derive noninformative priors for the ratio of parameters in the Burr model. We obtain Jeffreys' prior, reference prior and second order probability matching prior. Also we prove that the noninformative prior matches the alternative coverage probabilities and a HPD matching prior up to the second order, respectively. Finally, we provide simulated frequentist coverage probabilities under the derived noninformative priors for small and moderate size of samples.

A Cluster-Based Relay Station Deployment Scheme for Multi-Hop Relay Networks

  • Multi-hop relay networks have been widely considered as a promising solution to extend the coverage area and to reduce the deployment cost by deploying the relay stations (RSs) in mobile communication systems. Suitable deployment for the RSs is one of the most important features of the demand nodes (DNs) to obtain a high data transmission rate in such systems. Considering a tradeoff among the network throughput, the deployment budget, and the overall coverage of the systems, efficient RS deployment schemes and corresponding algorithms must be developed and designed. A novel cluster-based RS deployment scheme is proposed in this paper to select the appropriate deployment locations for the relay stations from the candidate positions. To make an ideal cluster distribution, the distances between the DNs are calculated when deploying the RSs. We take into account the traffic demands and adopt a uniform cluster concept to reduce the data transmission distances of the DNs. On the basis of the different candidate positions, the proposed scheme makes an adaptive decision for selecting the deployment sites of the RSs. A better network throughput and coverage ratio can be obtained by balancing the network load among the clusters. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the previously known schemes in terms of the network throughput and the coverage ratio. Additionally, a suitable deployment budget can be implemented in multi-hop relay networks.

Multi-antenna diversity gain in terrestrial broadcasting receivers on vehicles: A coverage probability perspective

  • This paper theoretically and empirically explores the reliability gain that can be obtained by installing multiple antennas in on-vehicle broadcasting receivers. Analytical derivations reveal that maximal-ratio-combining-based diversity allows a multi-antenna receiver (MR) to achieve significantly better coverage probability than a single-antenna receiver (SR). In particular, the notable MR gains for low-power reception and high-throughput services are highlighted. We also discuss various aspects of mobile MRs, including geometric coverage, volume of the users served, and impact of receiver velocity. To examine the feasibility of MRs in the real world, extensive field experiments were conducted, particularly with on-air ATSC 3.0 broadcast transmissions. Relying on the celebrated erroneous second ratio criterion, MRs with two and four antennas were verified to achieve notable reliability gains over SRs in practice. Furthermore, our results also prove that layered-division multiplexing can cope better with receiver mobility than traditional time-division multiplexing when multiple services are intended in the same radio frequency channel.
