외식업체의 브랜드 친숙도와 쿠폰 이용 성향이 쿠폰 상환 및 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 대학생을 중심으로 - (Effects of Brand Familiarity and Coupon Proneness of a Restaurant Chain on Coupon Redemption & Revisit Intention - Based on Undergraduate Student -)

  • Coupons that restaurants are competitively issuing have considerable effects on company profits, depending on the performance of redemption rate. The purpose of the study is to identify the coupon type that consumers most prefer, among coupon types the most frequently issued restaurants, and to investigate consumers' coupon redemption rate and revisit intention based on brand familiarity. In this study, freshmen and sophomores in the 2-year colleges and the universities located in Seoul and Kyoungi province were sampled by convenience sampling, and surveyed about 3 coupon types (free meal coupon, discount rate coupon, discount price coupon) with 150 copies of questionnaire for each type, totally 450 copies randomly distributed. As a result, relationship between coupon redemption intention and revisit intention based on brand familiarity was that, the higher brand familiarity was, the higher coupon redemption intention and revisit intention were, regardless of coupon types. This study lies in that it approached to discount method, one of the coupon types, by further subdividing into discount rate and discount price, and that redemption intention and revisit intention were studied by taking account of coupon familiarity.

해시 기반 NFC 모바일 쿠폰 프로토콜 (NFC Mobile Coupon Protocol Based on Hash)

  • As most of the recent smart devices have NFC function the NFC mobile coupon will become one of the pervasive NFC applications. We need the secure NFC coupon protocols to issue and use NFC mobile coupon. In this paper, we analyze the security of the previous protocols and point out the problems of security. As the result of analysis, Premium M-coupon Protocol proposed by A. Alshehri and S. Schneider is the most secure but has unnecessary operations. We propose the Modified Premium M-coupon Protocol-1 with the unnecessary operations removed and show this protocol is secure by security analysis. Most of NFC mobile coupon protocols use the cryptography with the shared secret keys. We propose the Modified Premium M-coupon Protocol-2 without the shared secret keys and show this protocol is secure by security analysis.

쿠폰 종류에 따른 쿠폰이용비용과 소비자 만족에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Costs of Coupon on Consumer Satisfaction)

  • The purpose of this study was to understand how consumers perceive the costs of couponing by coupon types and to suggest ways in which coupons should be developed to contribute to consumers' welfare. Costs/benefits of coupons as the most close antecedent variable included the following 8 constructs: searching costs, clipping costs, storing costs, extra expenses, substitution costs, pressure of holding, uncomfortable feelings, and regrets. Since it was hypothesized that the cost of couponing differs by coupon type, four coupon-types were examined: homepage coupon, E-mail coupon, DM coupon, and newspaper/magazine coupon. Data for this research were collected through 732 responses to a self-administered survey of consumers who had used all four types of coupons requesting participation from members of Internet survey firm. The conclusions of this research can be summarized as follows: (1) Women preferred off-line coupons but men preferred on-line coupons. In addition, consumers in Seoul were more familiar and satisfied with on-line coupons than consumers in other regions. (2) Among constructs of costs, consumers perceived regrets, pressure of holding, and substitution costs highly. Differently from previous studies, consumers perceived searching costs and clipping costs to be less important than other costs. (3) Storing costs, pressure of holding, and uncomfortable feelings were higher in off-line coupons, whereas clipping costs, extra expenses, and substitution costs were higher in on-line coupons. (4) In general, most constructs of costs in using homepage and newspaper/magazine coupons were higher than those of E-mail and DM coupons. (5) Cost perception was negatively related to coupon satisfaction at coupon, except newspaper/magazine coupon which was the least satisfactory coupon, regardless of costs (6) Consumers were more satisfied with direct-distribution coupons such as E-mail and DM coupons than public-distribution coupons such as homepage and newspaper/magazine coupons.

Can Coupon Holding Duration and Message Framing Increase the Effect of Push Notifications on Mobile Coupon Redemption? Evidence from A Randomized Field Experiment

  • We propose a mobile coupon strategy designed to increase the effect of push notifications on redemption. The proposed strategy recommends that firms deliver mobile coupons with distant expiration dates and remind them through push notifications framed negatively once these expiration dates become imminent, rather than frequently sending coupons with near expiration dates. We test the effectiveness of the proposed strategy using data collected through a randomized field experiment. The findings indicate that push notifications enhance coupon redemption rates for coupons that are held longer by customers than those that are recently received. Additionally, we found that sending negatively framed push notification messages to remind customers of imminent coupon expiration dates further resulted in higher coupon redemption rates. The findings can be employed to offer useful guidance on how to effectively design mobile coupons for achieving higher redemption rates.

외식업 온라인 쿠폰 이용 사례 연구 : 휴면 고객 재방문을 중심으로 (A Case Study on Restaurant Online Coupon Redemption Behavior of Resting Customers)

  • The purposes this study were to a) analyze the revisiting ratio of resting customers after issuing online coupons, b) compare the characteristics of coupon redemption customers with non-redemption customers. For this study, the customers of M restaurant who did not revisit during the last 8 months were classified as 'resting customers', totaling 4,052 customers. The online coupons, valid for 9 months, were sent via e-mail to those customers. After that, the data collected from those who redeemed the coupon in September 2006 was utilized. As a result of sending the coupon to 4,052 resting customers, 1,288 customers redeemed the coupon during the study period, showing relatively high redemption ratio (31.6%). The average check of customers with the online coupon was decreased by 22% compared with customers without the coupon, but the party size remained almost the same, 2.6 customers, and also the redemption ratio was increasing as the expiration date of the coupon was approaching. The redemption ratio of female (35.3%) was much higher than male (19.2%), representing higher redemption possibility of the female customers by issuing the coupon. The redemption ratio of the twenties (69.1%) was obviously higher than other age groups. Also, the non-redemption ratio of other groups except the twenties was higher than the redemption ratio. The redemption ratio of low-educated was higher, under college degree (58.6%), college degree (35.4%), and over college degree (16.6%). Following the result of the average visiting frequency of redemption customers during last the 8 months was 4.2, the frequency of non-redemption customers was 9.8. The total average visiting of non-redemption customer was 10.5, and that of redemption customers was 8.6. Customers who visited the restaurant less frequently in the past have higher possibility to revisit after receiving the coupon.

모바일 쿠폰 서비스의 만족에 미치는 요인 연구 (A Study on the influencing factors for Satisfaction of Mobile Coupon Service)

  • 본 연구는 모바일 쿠폰 서비스의 만족도에 미치는 영향 요인을 정량적으로 실증하고자 하였다. 따라서 연구자는 사용자가 인식하는 모바일 쿠폰의 만족도, 구전, 그리고 외생변인들 (경제적 가치, 신뢰도, 즐거움, 혁신성 등) 간의 경로와 관계를 검정하기 위해 구조방정식 모델링 방법론을 통해 확인하였다. 연구 결과 모바일 쿠폰의 사용자들(일부지역 대학생 중심)은 기존의 쿠폰과 유사한 모바일 쿠폰의 특성에 대해 이해하고 있으며, 쿠폰의 경제적 가치, 혁신성 등이 신뢰, 즐거움에 영향을 주고, 이들이 만족과 구전에 영향을 주는 것으로 확인이 되었다. 또한 연구자는 현재 다양한 쿠폰 관련 앱들이 개발되는 시점에 제시하는 정량적 연구로서 공헌점이 있을 것으로 보았다.

Effects of sizes and mechanical properties of fuel coupon on the rolling simulation results of monolithic fuel plate blanks

  • High-density UMo/Zr monolithic nuclear fuel plates have a promising application prospect in high flux research and test reactors. The solid state welding method called co-rolling is used for their fabrication. Hot co-rolling simulations for the composite blanks of UMo/Zr monolithic nuclear fuel plates are performed. The effects of coupon sizes and mechanical property parameters on the contact pressures between the to-be-bonded surfaces are investigated and analyzed. The numerical simulation results indicate that 1) the maximum contact pressures between the fuel coupon and the Zircaloy cover exist near the central line along the plate length direction; as a whole the contact pressures decrease toward the edges in the plate width direction; and lower contact pressures appear at a large zone near the coupon corner, where de-bonding is easy to take place in the in-pile irradiation environments; 2) the maximum contact pressures between the fuel coupon and the Zircaloy parts increase with the initial coupon thickness; after reaching a certain thickness value, the contact pressures hardly change, which was mainly induced by the complex deformation mechanism and special mechanical constitutive relation of fuel coupon; 3) softer fuel coupon will result in lower contact pressures and form interfaces being more out-of-flatness.

인터넷 쇼핑몰에서의 e-쿠폰 속성, 지각된 위험이 사용자 만족도를 매개로 인터넷쿠폰의 지속적 사용의도에 미치는 영향 - 쿠폰유형과 성별의 조절효과를 중심으로 - (Effects of E-coupon attributes, Perceived risk in Internet shopping malls on Intention to continuously use online coupons through the User satisfaction - moderating effects of coupon type and gender -)

  • 본 연구에서는 e-쿠폰 속성 요인과 지각된 위험이 인터넷쿠폰 사용자 만족도를 매개로 인터넷쿠폰의 지속적 사용의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위하여 20, 30대 인터넷쿠폰 사용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. e-쿠폰 속성 요인으로 경제성, 유희성, 신뢰성, 유용성을 설정하였으며 쿠폰 유형과 성별을 조절 변수로 사용하였다. 분석결과, 유희성, 유용성, 그리고 지각된 위험이 인터넷쿠폰 사용자 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 인터넷쿠폰 사용자 만족도는 인터넷쿠폰의 지속적 사용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 조절변수로 사용되어진 쿠폰유형과 성별이 인터넷쿠폰 사용자 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 집단 간 차이 검정결과, 쿠폰유형의 경우에는 신뢰성, 유용성이 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 성별의 경우에는 신뢰성만이 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 토대로 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 쿠폰 촉진 전략의 방향 및 구체적인 인터넷 쿠폰 촉진 믹스 전략에 있어서 시사점을 제공할 수 있으리라고 판단되며 소비자가 충분히 만족할 수 있는 신뢰성향이 높은 인터넷쿠폰 제공을 통하여 인터넷쿠폰 사용자 만족도를 강화할 필요가 있을 것으로 사료된다.

모바일쿠폰 특성이 사용자의 지각된 유용성과 쿠폰 사용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Characteristics of Mobile Coupon on the User's Perceived Usefulness and Intention of Use Mobile Coupon)

  • 본 연구는 모바일쿠폰 사용자 특히 외식기업에서 제공하는 모바일쿠폰 사용자의 쿠폰 사용의도에 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단되는 모바일쿠폰의 특성과 지각된 유용성 그리고 쿠폰 사용의도간의 영향관계를 실증적으로 검정하고, 그 시사점을 찾기 위해 진행되었다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 모바일쿠폰 특성, 쿠폰의 유용성과 쿠폰 사용의도 등에 관한 문헌고찰을 통해 이론적 배경을 마련하였으며, 실증조사는 2016년 5월 17일부터 21일까지 외식모바일쿠폰 사용경험이 있는 부산지역 거주자 250명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 회수된 설문지 241부 가운데 부적절한 응답을 한 설문지를 제외하고 227부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 실증조사 분석결과, 모바일쿠폰 사용자가 지각하는 모바일쿠폰 특성으로는 쿠폰 획득용이성, 쿠폰 사용편리성, 쿠폰의 경제적 가치요인을 확인하였다. 모바일쿠폰 특성과 지각된 유용성 그리고 모바일쿠폰 사용의도간의 영향관계 확인결과는 다음과 같다. 모바일쿠폰 특성 가운데 경제적 가치와 획득용이성이 지각된 유용성과 모바일 쿠폰 사용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 모바일쿠폰 특성사용자가 지각하는 모바일쿠폰 유용성은 모바일쿠폰 사용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

패밀리레스토랑의 판매촉진전략 방안에 관한 연구 - 쿠폰을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Sales Promotion Methods for Family Restaurant)

  • A study is on the coupon which is one of the sales promotion methods for family restaurant. The factor of family restaurant coupon use in the study was analyzed based on theoretical study. In addition, difference of food service manners by behavior and demographic factor, and so by means of this factor was analyzed and was done t-Test and anova. As a result of this study, eight factors were found. This eight factors were named by researcher. Eight factors are as follows There are 1. factor taste, 2. factor choice, 3. factor expectation, 4. factor satisfaction, 5. factor durability, 6. factor convenience, 7. factor safety, 8. factor preference. These factors influence family restaurant coupon used by customer. And so we know that between demographic factor and food service manners are different. In the conclusion, the factor of family restaurant coupon use, by valuable sides and typical sides was presented as the sales promotion methods for coupon. First, valuable side endows coupon with value and so lead persistent purchase. Second, typical side cause interest and so leads repurchase. But in the future, continuous study should be go on for satisfaction of customer and effective marketing strategy of family restaurant.
