국내 철근공사 실태분석 및 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Actual Condition Analysis and Improvement of Rebar Work in Korean Building Construction)

  • With labor shortage and high-wage era, the construction cost is rising and the construction business is dull, demanding the construction environment of Korea to raise profitability through major cost savings and rationalization of construction management. However, although reinforcing bar(rebar) work, which greatly effects the building's safety, endurance, and construction time, is an important phase in construction, it holds serious problem of quality and productivity deterioration due to its characteristic of intensive-labor and maintaining of old work methods resulting in poor management, and costs increase. Therefor in this study to investigate current situation and problems of rebar work and to find methods of betterment, a survey was conducted to site engineers and individuals in division of cost estimate of domestic construction company. The survey questions were on the subjects of (1) calculating rebar quantity, (2) ordering and procurement, (3) rebar cutting and bending, and (4) rebar work management.   • Companies make a great effort for saving costs because a rise in logistics costs weaken trade companies competitive position in the international market. Therefore it is important for companies and government to enhance logistics competitive. This article focus on the logistics laws and policies to improvement companies competitiveness and save logistics costs. It has researched from the point of view rather government basis than company basis. Korean Logistics policies have some fundamental problems that the law and policies are spreaded to several administrations such as, Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs etc. We propose the solutions as follows; First of all, we review the laws and policies on logistics and point out the problems. Second, setting up the principle of Korean Logistics Policies according to the changes in international logistics paradigm and circumstances. Third, adjustment of systems and tasks of administrations related to logistics. Fourth, innovation plan for logistics policies. The plan can carry out two ways demonstration business and diffusion business in order.

Performance Improvement of a Floating Solution Using a Recursive Filter

  • In CDGPS, ambiguity resolution is determined by the performance of a floating solution, and thus, the performance needs to be improved. In the case of precise positioning at a stationary position, the batch method using multiple measurements is used for the accuracy improvement of a position. The position accuracy performance of a floating solution is outstanding, but it has a problem of high computation cost because all measurements are used. In this study, to improve the floating solution performance of the initial static user in CDGPS, a floating solution method using a recursive filter was implemented. A recursive filter estimates the position solution of the current epoch using the position solution of up to the previous epoch and the pseudorange measurement of the current epoch. The computation cost of the floating solution method using a recursive filter was found to be similar to that of the epoch-by-epoch method. Also, based on actual GPS signals, the floating solution performance was found to be similar to that of the batch method. The floating solution using a recursive filter could significantly improve the performance of the prompt initial position and ambiguity resolution of the initial static user.

  • The production type of foundry industry is a small quantity batch production methods that require the highly skilled technology in the global competition in the variety of customer needs and directly under the influence of fluctuations characteristic. Therefore suitability for small quantity batch production and flexible production capacity and price competitiveness is needed more than anything. To do this, we need transcription and comprehensive innovation activities to maximize the revenue structure of the organization and field survival foundation should be developed the TPI(Total Profit Innovation) process in all aspects of the organization and all employees are involved in order to create a cost, quality, time, and service part of the overall aim how to achieve those effects within a short period of time. We applied the TPI process for S company in the foundry business innovation and productivity through cost reduction. We will expect the productivity improvement and financial performance improvement and then continually accumulate and review the results.

  • 진공추력 88톤급 다단연소 사이클 로켓엔진의 시스템 설계를 수행하였다. 엔진 구성품에 대한 성능 평가는 기존의 연구를 활용하였으며 수렴된 엔진 시스템 성능을 구할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 본 연구 방법은 RD-180에 대한 기존의 연구와 비교함으로써 검증하였다. 본 연구는 가격 경쟁력을 고려하면서 성능 개선을 달성하기 위하여 한국형발사체 75톤 엔진의 개발 이력을 최대한 승계하였다. 엔진의 제작 난이도, 비용 그리고 성능 개선을 고려하여 연소압력 12MPa을 적용하였고 결과로써 23.4s의 진공비추력 향상을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • Development of social overhead capital (SOC) requires huge national finance, and performance issues such as cost-efficiency, safety, and environment have been constantly raised. However, currently each construction client has limited access to its own projects' performance without analytic methodology for industry-level comparisons and benchmarking for improvement. To overcome this problem, this study proposes a comprehensive performance analysis framework for post-evaluation of large-scale construction projects. To this end, this study performed a case study of advanced countries (the U.S., the U.K. and Japan) and consultation with related experts to develop a tailored performance analysis framework for the Post- Construction Evaluation and Management system in Korea. The developed framework covers three categories (project performance, project efficiency, and ripple effect), nine areas (cost, schedule, change, safety, quality, demand, benefit-cost ratio, civil complaint, and defect), and 31 detailed metrics. Using industry-level project performance database and statistical techniques, the proposed framework can be used not only to diagnose excellent and unsatisfactory performance areas for completed construction projects, but also to provide reference data for future similar projects. This study can contribute to the improvement of clients' performance management practices and effectiveness of construction projects.

금전계수 도출을 위한 경제학적 방법론 연구 (A Study on Economic Methodology for Deriving Money Coefficients)

  • The International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) 103 recommends a cost-benefit analysis method as an auxiliary tool for scientific and rational decision-making for the principle of optimization of radiological protection. In order to conduct a cost-benefit analysis, the safety improvement of nuclear power by regulation must be measured and converted into monetary terms. The improvement of nuclear safety can be measured by reducing the radiation exposure dose of the people, and it is necessary to determine the coefficient to convert the radiation exposure dose into money. The monetary coefficient is calculated as the product of the statistical life value (VSL) and the nominal risk coefficient. In order to derive the monetary coefficient, the willingness to pay (WTP) can be estimated using the contingent valuation method (CVM), which quantifies the value of non-market goods by converting them into monetary units. WTP can be estimated based on the random utility model, which is the basic model for bivariate selection type conditional value measurement data. Statistical life value can be calculated using the estimated WTP and reduction in early mortality, and a monetary coefficient can be derived.

사무실 실내공기중 휘발성유기화합물의 기준설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Standards of Volatile Organic Compounds in Indoor Air of Office)

  • It is necessary to study and develop guidelines for providing comfort and health indoor air quality for office workers since air-tight envelope system of current office building may cause poor indoor air quality. The purpose of this study is to propose guideline for volatile organic compounds in office base on the field study, human health risk assessment and cost-benefit analysis. The field study was conducted to survey the concentrations of volatile organic compounds in indoor air of 69 offices from June to September, 2005 in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The rate of excess to guideline of volatile organic compounds in indoor air of new apartment on the Ministry of Environment in Korea(MOE) was surveyed 37.6% for benzene, 6.8% for toluene, and 1.5% for ethylbenzene. As the result of human health risk assessment, mean cancer risk did not exceed 10-6 which is guideline of US.EPA. Also, total hazard index did not exceed 1 which is guideline of US.EPA. Through the cost-benefit analysis of angle on the social-economics to verify the necessary to establish the standards of volatile organic compounds for improvement and development of indoor air quality in office, the present value of benefit was higher than the present value of cost. With the above considerations in mind, it is suggested that the field study for indoor air quality in offices should be expanded and human health risk assessment and cost-benefit analysis be performed th offer scientific data for decision-making of policy for improvement and management of indoor air quality in office.

인터넷 비즈니스 사업으로의 효과적인 스핀오프에 관한 실증연구 - 유발요인, 기대효익, 전략을 중심으로 - (An Empirical Study on the Spin-Off into Internet Business - Emphasis on Factors, Expected Benefits, Strategies -)

  • Recently, a lot of companies intend to make spin-offs as the Internet usage is proliferating in the business area. A spin-off means a small but autonomous company which is thought to show higher profitability rather than it stays under the influence of a mother enterprise. To prove our hypotheses, we collected questionnaire data from 104 companies considering spin-offs. From experiments with Factor Analysis, we found that there exist four factors which decision-makers should consider before deciding spin-offs such as competence of unit, competence of mother company, competence of spin-off company, and support of mother company. After massive experiments with Regression Analysis we also found that there are significant three performance factors such as competence of unit, competence of spin-off company, and support of mother company. The survey also asked about three potential strategies that they may have been following for achieving business objectives: Cost leadership, Focus, and Differentiation, Six benefits factors emerged from this study: External competitiveness, Internal competency, Productivity, Change, Cost saving, and Improvement. External competitiveness was the most important benefit, and it predicted a Differentiation and Focus strategy. Productivity and Improvement also predicted a Differentiation strategy. External competitiveness, Change, and Cost saving predicted a Cost leadership strategy. However, organizations followed Differentiation and Focus strategies significantly more than Cost leadership. The assessment thus sheds light on the link between information strategy and spin off. We hope that based on our results, many companies considering a spin-off can make a right decision and expect higher performance in a turbulent business environment.

유리창 청소작업의 자동화 장비 도입에 대한 타당성 분석 (Feasibility Study for Introducing Window Cleaning Device)

  • 최근에 외부 유리창 청소에 대한 수요는 증가하고 있으나, 이 청소는 매우 위험한 인력 의존형 작업이다. 또한 청결을 중시하는 업장에서 원하는 빈도로 자주 청소하는 것도 용이하지 않다. 따라서 이 작업을 자동화 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 특정 유리창에 부착하여, 그 유리창을 지속적으로 청소하는 장치의 개념을 제시하고, 이 장치의 경제적 타당성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 장비의 예상 제작비 1천만 원 수준이나, 투자 가능비용은 내구연한 5년 기준으로 최소 9.8백만 원, 내구연한 10년 기준으로 최소 103백만 원 수준이었다. 따라서 장비비 보다 예상 절감액이 충분히 커서, 경제적 타당성이 있는 것으로 평가 되었다. 본 연구에서는 정량적 지표만으로 분석하여, 안전성 향상에 의한 노무자 안전 사고 감소, 생산성 향상, 공기 단축, 품질 향상 등으로 인한 원가 절감 기대 값은 고려되지 않았다는 한계가 있다. 따라서 향후 고려되지 않은 기대 값을 추가하여 자동화 장비에 의한 원가절감 효과를 산출하면 경제성이 보다 정확하게 산정될 것으로 예상된다.
