A taxonomic study on the genus Tropocyclops has been accomplished as a part of the series of studies on the freshwater cyclopoid copepods in South Korea. As a result, the Tropocyclops prasinus, hitherto known from Korea in many reports and papers, turns out to be a species complex of three sibling species: T. prasinus (Fischer, 1860), T. ishidai n. sp., and T. setulifer n. sp. This paper deals with description of two of these new species with taxonomic accounts on their inter- or intraspecific morphological discrepancies.

Pseudanthessius spinosus n. sp. is described as an associate of the sea urchin Clypeaster japonicus Doderlein from Cheju Island in Korea. The new species may be easily distinguished from its congeners by having four spines and five setae on the third exopodal segment of leg 4. It is the second known species of the genus from Korean waters.

탐진강과 섬진강의 감조수역에서 채집된 하르팍티쿠스류 1신종을 Har-pacticella itoi로 명명하여 기재한다. 본 종은 암컷과 수컷의 제5흉지 외지에 난 강모의 수가 각각 7개와 4개로 Harpacticella속의 여타 총과 차이가 있다.

한국 해안의 47개 지소에서 채집한 Harpacticidae과에 속하는 하프팍티쿠스류 8종을 동정, 분류하였다. 8종 중 5종은 한국미기록종이며 이들에 대하여는 재기재하는 한편 도판을 작성였다.

황해에서 서식하는 이매패류 Solen gradia Dunker(죽합)의 체내에 사는 Anthessius 속 그리고 Solen stricitus Gould(맛조개)의 체내에 사는 Herrmannella 속의 요각류 2신종을 각각 A. projectus 및 H. exigua로 명명하여 기재한다.

Two new species of the genus Doridicola are described as associates of opisthobranch mollusks from Korean intertidal waters: Doridicola virguatus n. sp. associated with the notaspidean Pleurobranchaea japonica Thiele and D. portincola n. sp. associated with the nudibranch Hoplodoris armata (Baba). This is the first record for the copepod associates of opisthobranch mollusks from Korea.

One new copepod species (Doropygus hoi n. sp.) is described based on specimens taken from solitary ascidians collected from the East Sea (Sea of Japan) and the South Sea. Doropygus pinguis Ooishi, 1962 taken from solitary ascidians, Styela plicata (Lesueur) and Boltenia echinata (Linnaeus), collected from 8 localities of the South Sea and the East Sea are redescribed.

Parabrachiella bera (Yamaguti, 1939) is redescribed based on newly collected material from multicolorfin rainbowfish, Parajulis poecilopterus, landed at Wando fishery port on the southern coast of Korea. Although some differences were observed between the original description and the specimens examined in this study, these differences do not warrant a change in the taxonomic status of this species. Parabrachiella bera bears some resemblance to Parabrachiella incurva Shiino, 1956, but differs from it in details of the trunk and genital processes.

Two species of the family Porcellidiidae associated with hermit crabs are described from Korean seas. These are Porcellidium similis, new species collected from Pagurus similis, Pagurus pectinatus and Porcellidium brevicaudatum Kicks & Webber collected from Dardanus impressus. The new species resemble closely Porcellidium brevicaudatum in general body form, but is clearly distinguished from Porcellidium vrevicaudatum in that the caudal ramus is weakly oblique in tis distal border and the lobe of leg 5 is more slender.

Caligys latus Kim, 1995는 C. latus Byrnes, 1987의 신참이물동명으로서, 전자의 학명을 폐기하고 새로운 학명인 C. parvilatus를 부여하였다. 아울러 이 종의 수컷을 처음 기재하였다.
