This paper presents a novel method to design and implement mobile u-health system by defining the essential elements of mobile healthcare services. We choose common service elements for the proposed u-healthcare scheme and design the service platform. Especially we focus on automatic feces or urine sensing u-care scheme to prove the effectiveness of our platform. We construct the system with sensing part with a manikin and a diaper wireless communication part with feces or urine sensing data, and coordinator system based on the u-health platform defined in this paper. Experimental results show that our scheme is useful in the area of u-care service for the handicapped, the elderly, and patients who can hardly move by themselves. In addition the designed scheme offers a realized u-care scheme with the purpose of advanced developing tools for application or service developers.

본 논문에서는 웹을 통하여 탈놀이에 관한 멀티미디어 정보를 제공하는 에이전트 기반의 탈놀이안내 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 사용자가 요구사항을 입력하면 클라이언트는 서버에게 이를 전송하고, 서버는 입력된 조건을 만족하는 탈놀이의 동영상 및 안내음성을 웹을 통하여 클라이언트에게 전송하여 상영한다. 본 논문에서는 에이전트 기반의 안내 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 인터페이스 에이전트, 사용자 모델링 에이전트, 중재 에이전트, 자료관리 에이전트를 설계하고 구현하였다. 또한 개발한 탈놀이 안내 시스템은 멀티미디어 데이터를 생성하는 기본기능 외에도 키워드를 이용한 검색 학습 등의 다양한 기능을 제공한다.

For the success of a festival, effective volunteer management is axiomatic. Given the dramatically increased size and quality of festivals and events in Korea over the past fifteen years, the importance of effective volunteer management has been overlooked among festival organizations in comparison to similar festivals in western countries. This paper provides a description and an assessment of the Hi Seoul Festival 2009 volunteer program based on an seven-step ideal process of an effective festival volunteer program with suggestions for the program development by reviewing organizational documents, and an interview with a staff member of the Hi Seoul Festival organization, and a survey pertinent to festival volunteers' motivation. This study shows college students are more interested in volunteering at festivals in Korea with the primary motivation of developing relationships and gaining work experience. It also suggests that the Hi Seoul Festival organization should fully appreciate the importance of an effective volunteer program and the position and work of a volunteer coordinator.

IEEE 802.15.3 High-Rate WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network)는 l0m내외의 무선 환경에서 실시간 비디오, 고품질 오디오 및 대용량 파일 전송을 가능케 하는 기술이다 하나의 네트워크를 piconet 단위로 구성하고 하나의 Piconet에는 PNC(piconet coordinator)가 TOMA(Time Division Multiple Access) 방식으로 DEV(device)들에게 채널타임을 할당한다. 본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.15.3 High-Rate WPAN 환경에서 하나의 piconet 에 존재하는 각각 통신을 하려는 DEV 들이 서로의 신호에 간섭을 받지 않을 만큼 떨어져 있다면 한 개의 채널타임을 각각의 DEV 들에게 동시에 할당하여 여러 DEV들이 동시에 통신을 하는 공간 재활용방식을 통해 네트워크의 성능을 향상하는 방법을 제안하고 MAC의 공간재활용방식을 통한 네트워크의 성능향상 방법을 연구한다.

Cognitive radio has been recently considered a promising technology to improve spectrum utilization by enabling secondary access to licensed bands that are not used by primary users temporarily or spatially. A prerequisite to this secondary access is the lack of interference to the primary system. This requirement makes spectrum sensing a key process for cognitive radio. In this study, we consider amplify and forward (AF)-based cooperative spectrum sensing for cognitive radio networks where multiple relay nodes are utilized to amplify and forward the primary user signal for better spectrum sensing, and maximum ratio combining is used for fusion detection by a cognitive coordinator. Further, the detection probability and the bit error rate of AF-based cooperative spectrum sensing are analyzed in fading multiple cognitive relay channels. The simulation results show that the AF-based cooperative spectrum sensing scheme outperforms the conventional scheme.

One of the benefits of the internet-assisted instruction is that it can improve L2 Learners' motivation to express themselves in English. The purpose of this paper is to investigate an effective approach to British-American fiction learning in Korean universities, which can emphasize communicative strategies drawing on video-conferencing system, a chat system(CUSeeMe), and an e-mail system. Students are passive participants who cannot assert their creativity in the traditional teaching method of British-American fiction, which mainly relies upon reading and translation far from literature lessons. In CCDL(Cross-cultural distance learning) class, students can play active roles in asserting their own ideas and assuming considerable responsibility for making a presentation in English. A professor can play a role as a coordinator in supporting the students' activities and in winding up the class. The main significance of this article lies in providing a paradigm for CCDL class beyond the limitation of the traditional teaching method of British-American fiction in Korea and futhermore in exploring the eclectic integration of the traditional one and CCDL.

This paper considers the application of mobile robot to the herding problem. The herding problem involves a ‘pursuer’ trying to herd a moving ‘evader’ to a predefined location. In this paper, two mobile robots act as pursuer and evader in the fenced area, where the pursuer robot uses a fuzzy cooperative decision strategy (FCDS) in the herding algorithm. To herd evader robot to a predefined position, the pursuer robot calculates strategic herding point and then navigates to that point using FCDS. FCDS consists of a two-level hierarchy: low level motion descriptors and a high level coordinator. In order to optimize the FCDS, we use the multi­thread evolutionary programming algorithm. The proposed algorithm is implemented in the real mobile robot system and its performance is demonstrated using experimental results.

In this paper, we proposed coordinator description and ambiguity on the hybrid controller for position/force control of robot manipulator. When the hybrid controller is desiged based on the PID control conception, the parameter sharing problem must be considered. However, selection problem of coordinate system on n-DOF robot manipulator control is unsolved. Moreover, contact force on object and change of shape make another problems. And it is very difficult to figure out the accurate mathematical model of manipulator on account of ambiguity and nonlinearity of actuator. Therfore, we design a new hybrid controller, FPID(Fuzzy PID). For verifying the validity of the controller, we tried computer simulation of this system. As a result, we can get remarkable improvement of overdamping and overshooting. Also we can solve compicance problem effectively. Furthermore, ambiguity problem is solved by adding control knowledge based compensator. So robust controller can be acheived, too.

This paper is concerned with design methodology of gateway using IEEE 802.15.4 for DeviceNet. Wireless gateway is composed of DeviceNet master and IEEE 802.15.4 coordinator and node devices. The test results show the availability of implemented gateway.

Objectives: This paper reviews the activities of health education specialist in public sector and the professional skills needed to perform the role. Results and Conclusion: Health education specialist is professional who educates individual, group, and community to practice voluntarily deeds beneficial to health and promotes to make healthy environment. Health education specialist works in public health center, hospital, workplace, and school to solve health problems. And also he can serve in health departments at central and local government. To do this, in addition to the basic skills health case management and health counseling skills are required. Health education specialist conducts health assessments on all aspects of life, and if necessary professional skills makes the connection. Ultimately, the main roles of health education specialist are primary health counseling related to living healthy lives and health coordinator.
