경쟁적 협력과 관련된 기존 연구들은 대부분 기업수준에서 경쟁적 협력이 조직성과에 미치는 효과를 분석하였을 뿐 팀 수준이나 개인 수준의 연구는 매우 부족한 편이다. 본 연구에서는 개인이 인식하는 경쟁적 협력 팀 분위기가 지식공유에 미치는 직접 효과 및 절차적 공정성, 개인주도성의 조절효과에 대해 실증 분석하였다. 국내 대기업 연구소 연구원들을 대상으로 실증분석한 결과 팀원들이 경쟁적 협력 팀 분위기를 강하게 인식할 수록 팀원들의 지식공유 활동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 절차적 공정성은 이들간의 관계를 긍정적으로 강화시키는 것을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 시사점, 한계 및 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 진성리더십이 조직 구성원들의 긍정심리자본을 매개로 경쟁적 협력 (coopetition)에 미치는 영향에 대한 효과성을 검증하고, 긍정심리자본의 매개효과가 성과보상연계성에 의해 조절되는 메커니즘을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 연구결과 긍정심리자본은 진성리더십과 경쟁적 협력 간의 관계에서 매개 역할(간접효과)을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 성과보상연계성은 진성리더십과 정쟁적 협력 간의 관계에서 부(-)적으로 조절하는 조건부직접효과와 진성리더십이 긍정심리자본을 매개하여 경쟁적 협력에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 성과보상연계성에 의해 정(+)적으로 조절되는 매개된 조절효과(조건부 간접효과)가 나타났다. 이를 통하여 본 연구에서는 조직구성원들의 경쟁적 협력을 촉진하는 선행 메커니즘을 실증적으로 규명하였다는데 의의가 있다. 또한 그 동안 상대적으로 연구가 부족하였던 경쟁적 협력에 대한 연구를 개인수준으로 확장하였다는데 의미가 있다.

Data plays an ever greater part in the tourism industry. While the platform-based sharing of open public data, private-sector intermediary platforms, and the use of social media to understand consumer trends are already well recognized, more potential for innovation exists in sharing private data among organizations in Smart Tourism Destinations. Research into the factors enabling and hindering coopetition in this kind of data sharing platforms is still in the nascent stage of development. Our case study of Sapporo, a major Japanese city endeavouring to create itself as a Smart Tourism Destination, sheds light on the initial approaches to involve organizations to such a data sharing agreement. Founding on seven interviews with ten participants of Sapporo Smart City project organization (SARD), we derived enablers and impediments that promote coopetition in data sharing as part of Smart Tourism Destination development. We also present practical recommendations and future research opportunities for such initiatives.

Recently, the idea of the smart grid has been gaining significant attention and has become a hot research topic. The purpose of this paper is to present a novel smart grid management scheme that uses game theory principles. In our proposed scheme, power appliances in the smart grid adaptively form groups according to the non-cooperative hedonic game model. By exploiting multi-appliance diversity, appliances in each group are dynamically scheduled in a cooperative manner. For efficient smart grid management, the proposed coopetition game approach is dynamic and flexible to adaptively respond to current system conditions. The main feature is to maximize the overall system performance while satisfying the requirements of individual appliances. Simulation results indicate that our proposed scheme achieves higher energy efficiency and better system performance than other existing schemes.

2011년에 촉발되어 전 세계 20여 건에 이르는 Apple과 Samsung의 특허분쟁은 경쟁적 기술전략의 첨예한 양상을 보여준 대표적 사례이다. 두 기업 간 특허소송은 스마트폰 시장에서의 치열한 경쟁구조를 잘 보여준다. 반면, 두 기업은 ICT 및 하이테크 시장 선두기업으로서의 서로 긴밀한 협력적 관계에 있다. 그러나 기존 연구들은 경쟁 또는 협력의 한 부분만을 고려한 나머지 실제 기술경영의 현상을 제대로 진단하지 못했을 뿐 아니라 어떠한 패턴을 보이면서 진화하는지 규명하지 못하였다. 이에 본 연구는 경쟁-협력 동시적 공존의 코피티션(Coopetition) 산업생태계를, Apple과 Samsung의 스마트폰 분쟁사례를 중심으로 분석하고 그 함의와 방향성을 도출하고자 한다. 경쟁관점에서는 두 기업 간 소송자료 및 일지를 활용하여 분쟁의 흐름을, 협력관점에서는 소송에서 쟁점이 된 특허들의 인용정보를 활용하여 핵심기술을 구성하는 지식의 경향과 이전방향을 네트워크 분석방법론을 통해 분석한다.

This paper attempts to provide an overview of relationship between the characteristics of the network and competitive strategies. We review the theoretical background of the efficiency of network, which Is very important for the network-based industries. Network externality, positive feedback effects, bandwagon effects, economies of scale, economies of scope in network-base businesses are reviewed. Various network situations, including interconnection, and strategies are also discussed. In this purpose, simple but meaningful examples and cases are used to show the economic goals and means of network competition strategies. We try to link network strategies to the generic strategies and coopetition suggested by Porter and by Brandenburger and Nalebuff respectively. Since this study is an exploratory research, further studies on more complex network situation in the real work can be executed with taking advantage of this effort.

The world of container shipping and container terminal business is changing and container ports need to know what the changes are in order to plan how to respond. In particular, the container transport industry has noticed two major developments such as globalization and consolidation. The purpose of this paper is to review the current trend towards globalization and consolidation of container liner shipping and container terminal business. It also investigates the impact of these market developments on container ports and presents its implications for port development, management and operation, and port competition policy. According to the discussion of this paper a greater exercise of market power of container terminal operators will have negative impacts on international trade and national economy, especially port users, including container lines, exporters and importers. An empirical evidence on the exercise of market power is required to develop competition rules on market dominance at a national and international level. This paper suggests 'port coopetition' as a solution for smaller and regional container terminal operators to survive in a competitive business environment.

동북아는 빠르게 발전하는 지역의 하나이다. 한국과 중국 사이에 놓여있는 황해는 거대한 물동량과 많은 승객으로 매우 중요한 물류권역이 되었다. 이들 환황해지역의 두 나라는 선석, 컨테이너 야드, 보관시설과 정보시설 등을 지속적으로 확장하여 왔다. 이들 두 나라는 많은 정기선 항로와 카훼리 항로를 도입하였다. 어떤 전문가들은 항만과 물류 시설의 과도한 투자를 걱정하고 있다. 이 논문은 한중항로, 컨테이너 항로와 카훼리 항로의현상황을 분석하였고, 전문가들의 도움을 받아 문제점과 과제들을 도출하였다. 두 나라간의 항만과 해상루트 등을 합리화하고 문제를 해결하기 위한 많은 대안과 전략들이 있다. 이 논문을 많은 전략들을 마케팅의 4P와 연계시켜 제안한다. 항만서비스로 서비스재이므로 이들 전략대안들을 맥카시 교수의 4P로 범주화할 수 있다. 이 논문은 이들 모든 전략 대안들을 3차원으로 분류한다. 그것들은 경쟁전략, 협력전략 그리고 코피티션전략이다. 한국과 중국간의 항만과 물류주제들에 있어 전략의 3차원을 제시함으로써 전략선택에 방향성과 아이디어를 제공한다. 이 논문 이후에는 최적의 전략을 선택하고 추가비용을 극소화하기 위해 실천적인 조사와 많은 진단 들이 있어야 할 것으로 본다.
