In practical wireless systems, the erroneous channel state information (CSI) sometimes deteriorates the performance drastically. This paper focuses on robust design of coordinated set planning of coordinated multi-point (CoMP) transmission, with respect to the feedback delay and link error. The non-ideal channel models involving various uncertainty conditions are given. After defining a penalty factor, the robust net ergodic capacity optimization problem is derived, whose variables to be optimized are the number of coordinated base stations (BSs) and the divided area's radius. By the maximum minimum criterion, upper and lower bounds of the robust capacity are investigated. A practical scheme is proposed to determine the optimal number of cooperative BSs. The simulation results indicate that the robust design based on maxmin principle is better than other precoding schemes. The gap between two bounds gets smaller as transmission power increases. Besides, as the large scale fading is higher or the channel is less reliable, the number of the cooperated BSs shall be greater.
We analyze the performance of multistage cooperation in decode-and-forward relay networks where the transmission between source and destination takes place in $T{\geq}2$ equal duration and orthogonal time phases with the help of relays. The source transmits only in the first time phase. All relays that can decode the source's transmission forward the source's message to the destination in the second time phase, using a space-time code. During subsequent time phases, the relays that have successfully decoded the source message using information from all previous transmitting relays, transmit the space-time coded symbols for the source's message. The non-decoding relays keep accumulating information and transmit in the later stages when they are able to decode. This process continues for T cooperation phases. We develop and analyze the outage probability of multistage cooperation protocol under orthogonal relaying. Through analytical results, we obtain the near-optimal placement strategy for relays that gives the best performance when compared with most other candidate relay location strategies of interest. For different relay network topologies, we also investigate an interesting tradeoff between an increased SNR and decreased spectral efficiency as the number of cooperation stages is increased. It is also shown that the largest multistage cooperation gain is obtained in the low and moderate SNR regime.

Wireless Relaying is a promising solutions to overcome the channel impairments and provides high data rate coverage that appear for beyond 3G mobile communications. In this paper we present end to end BER performance of dual hop wireless communication systems equipped with multiple Decode and Forward relays over Rayleigh fading channel with the best relay selection. We compare the BER performance of the best relay with the BER performance of single relay. We select the best relay based on the end to end channel conditions. We further calculate the outage probability of the best relay. It is shown that the outage probability of the best relay is equivalent to the outage probability when all relays take part in the transmission. We apply Orthogonal Space Time Block coding(OSTBC) at the source terminal. Numerical and simulation results are presented to verify our analysis.

The emerging scope of the Internet-of-Things (IoT) has piqued the interest of industry and academia in recent times. Therefore, security becomes the main issue to prevent the possibility of cyberattacks. Jamming attacks are threads that can affect performance and cause significant problems for IoT device. This study explores a smart jamming attack (coalition attack) in which the attackers were previously a part of the legitimate network and are now back to attack it based on the gained knowledge. These attackers regroup into a coalition and begin exchanging information about the legitimate network to launch attacks based on the gained knowledge. Our system enables jammer nodes to select the optimal transmission rates for attacks based on the attack probability table, which contains the most probable link transmission rate between nodes in the legitimate network. The table is updated constantly throughout the life cycle of the coalition. The simulation results show that a coalition of jammers can cause highly successful attacks.

In-situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM) holders that employ a chip-type specimen stage have been widely utilized in recent years. The specimen on the microelectromechanical system (MEMS)-based chip is commonly prepared by focused ion beam (FIB) milling and ex-situ lift-out (EXLO). However, the FIB-milled thin-foil specimens are inevitably contaminated with Ga+ ions. When these specimens are heated for real time observation, the Ga+ ions influence the reaction or aggregate in the protection layer. An effective method of removing the Ga residue by Ar+ ion milling within FIB system was explored in this study. However, the Ga residue remained in the thin-foil specimen that was extracted by EXLO from the trench after the conduct of Ar+ ion milling. To address this drawback, the thin-foil specimen was attached to an FIB lift-out grid, subjected to Ar+ ion milling, and subsequently transferred to an MEMS-based chip by EXLO. The removal of the Ga residue was confirmed by energy dispersive spectroscopy.

The paper focuses on investigating secure transmission in wireless powered communication networks (WPCN) that involve multiple energy-constrained relays and one energy-constrained source. The energy is harvested from a power beacon (PB) while operating in the presence of a passive eavesdropper. The study primarily aims to achieve energy-efficient secure communications by examining the impact of channel estimation on the secrecy performance of WPCN under both perfect and imperfect CSI scenarios. To obtain practical insights on improving security and energy efficiency, we propose closed-form expressions for secrecy outage probability (SOP) under the linear energy harvesting (LEH) model of WPCN. Furthermore, we suggest a search method to optimize the secure energy efficiency (SEE) with limited power from PB. The research emphasizes the significance of channel estimation in maintaining the desired performance levels in WPCN in real-world applications. The theoretical results are validated through simulations to ensure their accuracy and reliability.
The pilot project for type diversification of self-sufficient support center that convert the centre corporation into social cooperative was introduced in 2015. That aimed to increase the number of participants of self-sufficient programmes and to create more jobs for the working poor through expanding the center's autonomy of usage of budget and arrangement of self-sufficient programmes. This study analyzed the organization transmitting processes and changes of the centers took part in the pilot project, then aimed to suggest the improvement schemes to be helpful for reinforcing positive efforts and removing obstacles in the process converting. The results show that converting into social cooperative is a choice for the sustainability of the centers led by surroundings rather than self-initiated plan. There are some positive changes that are increasing the enterprising spirit and obligation of the center staff. Further more, the cooperation with other community organizations is enhanced based on achieving regional recognition, and support of local governments and the opportunity for new businesses are expanded. However, these are very limited in the regions where social economy is undeveloped. Eventually, we should seek the development schemes of the pilot project considering the reduction of the number of participants in self-sufficient programmes and decreasing of their ability to work, even if some positive aspects are revealed.
The next generation mBcN should be built to cooperate with the wireless network to support hyper-speed and hyper-connectivity. In this paper, we propose a network architecture for the cooperation mBcN and 5G commercial network and architecture of the cooperative security gateway required for the cooperation. The proposed cooperative security gateway is between gNB and UPF to support LBO, SFC, and security. Our analysis shows that the proposed architecture has several advantages. First of all, user equipment connected with the mBcN can be easily connected through the 5G commercial radio network to the mBcN. Second, the military application traffic can be transmitted to mBcN without going through the 5G core network, reducing the end-to-end transmission delay without causing the traffic load on the 5G core network. In addition, the security level of the military application can effectively be maintained because the user equipment can be connected to the cooperative security gateway, and the traffic generated by the user equipment is transmitted to the mBcN without going through the 5G core network. Finally, we demonstrate that LBO, SFC, and security modules are essential functions of the proposed gateway in the 5G test-bed environment.
This paper describes the design and implementation of an efficient multi-point multimedia conference system using IP grouping. Existing multi-point multimedia conference systems are difficult for multi-user to perform efficient cooperation due to bandwidth limitation for data transmission of video, audio and documentation. In the case that multi-user uses limited bandwidth, smooth cooperation does not accomplish due to transmission delay for the real-time transmission of image and speech data. A hybrid transfer method which is mixed with distributed and centralized methods is used for smooth cooperation, and the network bandwidth is reduced by forming multi-user conference systems of IP grouping in this paper. Also, adaptive image frame variations are used to solve bottleneck effect according to the number of users. An efficient multi-user conference system is designed to support audio quality.

In this paper, we extend the case of information exchange error mitigation for the distributed orthogonal space-time block code (DOSTBC) for two transmit antennas to distributed quasi-orthogonal space-time block code (DQOSTBC) for four transmit antennas. A rate 1 full-diversity DQOSTBC for four transmit antennas is designed. The code matrix changes according to different information exchange error cases, so full diversity is maintained even if not all information exchange is correct. We also perform analysis of the pairwise error probability. The performance analysis indicates that the proposed rate 1 DQOSTBC outperforms rate 1/2 DOSTBC for four transmit antennas at the same transmission rate, which is confirmed by the simulation results.
