품질 관점에서 가상 데스크탑 인프라(VDI)의 만족과 성과, 그리고 업무 상호의존성의 조절효과 (Exploring the Moderating Effect of Interdependence on Performance and Satisfaction in Virtual Work Environment)

  • With the explosive proliferation of smart devices that may be connected to the fast Internet, virtual desktop interfaces(VDI) are being implemented in enterprises allowing employees to work anywhere anytime in the same technological environment. As this kind of systems are intended to raise the work performance, a research model is constructed from the review of research literature on service quality and work design. The model consists of VDI system service quality (ubiquity, availability, compatibility, security and ease of use), system satisfaction, task performance and job satisfaction. As VDI is designed as a support system for cooperative work, the task interdependence adopted from the work design theory is postulated here as moderating the effect of user satisfaction on task performance and job satisfaction. 147 data points were collected by a survey of VDI users in a global firm and subjected to PLS analysis. Interestingly, ubiquity and compatibility seem to be not statistically significant for user satisfaction while availability, security and ease of use of VDI system are statistically significant. Task interdependence is found to be a relatively strong mediator between system user satisfaction and task performance, however, interestingly, the coefficient come out as negative. This may indicate that the influence of VDI user satisfaction on task performance would not be high in highly interdependent tasks. Considering that VDI is intended for supporting 'interdependence' in cooperative work, this finding is a bit surprising. In-depth discussions are made in the discussion followed by future research directions.

보상 제공 방법에 따른 협동학습의 효과 (The Effects of Reward Methods in Cooperative Learning)

  • 본 연구에서는 협동학습에서 보상 제공 방법의 효과를 학생들의 성취도, 학습 동기, 수업 환경에 대한 인식, 그리고 보상 제공 방법에 대한 인식의 측면에서 조사하였다. 서울시 남녀 공학 중학교에서 1학년 61명을 선정하고 ''물질의 세 가지 상태'', ''분자 운동'', ''상태 변화와 열에너지'' 단원에 대하여 14차시 동안 수업을 실시하였다. 보상 제공 방법은 과제 지향 보상과 수행 지향 보상으로 구분하였다. 연구 결과, 상위 학생들은 과제 지향 보상 집단에서, 허위 학생들은 수행 지향 보상 집단에서 성취도 중 적용 영역의 점수가 높게 나타났다. 과제 지향 보상 집단이 학습 동기 중 주의집중과 관련성, 수업 환경에 대한 인식 중 과제 지향성, 참여도, 질서와 조직성에서 유의미하게 높았다.

  • The Comprehensive Measures for a soft landing of Household Debts affecting the credit service of Fisheries Cooperative (FC) have been known to the public in June 2011. Its essential points are as follows: 1) Abolition of Tax-free Regulation, 2) Set limit of loans, etc. per person, 3) Introduce leverage regulations for credit-specialized financial sector i. e. FC, 4) Gradually strengthen loan-loss reserve requirements for card-loan and other credit loans. However, the Financial Policy Measures seem to pay no attention to the Cooperative's Values, Principles and Identity. In this paper, emphasis is be placed on the task of the regulators i. e. Financial Services Commission and Financial Supervice Service to lift the Financial Measures negatively affecting the operation of fund of FCs, and on the establishment of Cooperative identity in order to further develop FCs.

Self-Learning Control of Cooperative Motion for Humanoid Robots

  • This paper deals with the problem of self-learning cooperative motion control for the pushing task of a humanoid robot in the sagittal plane. A model with 27 linked rigid bodies is developed to simulate the system dynamics. A simple genetic algorithm(SGA) is used to find the cooperative motion, which is to minimize the total energy consumption for the entire humanoid robot body. And the multi-layer neural network based on backpropagation(BP) is also constructed and applied to generalize parameters, which are obtained from the optimization procedure by SGA, in order to control the system.

  • It is essential to estimating positions of multiple robots in order to perform cooperative task in common workspace. Accordingly, we propose a new approach of cooperative localization for multiple robots utilizing correlation among GPS errors in common workspace. Assuming that GPS data of individual robot are correlated strongly as the distance among robots are close, it is confirmed that the proposed method provides improved localization accuracy. In addition, we define two operational parameters to apply proposed method in multiple robot system. With mentioned two parameters, we present a practical solution to accumulated position error in traveling long distance.

  • This study attempted to examine what effect knowledge management factors have on cooperative organizational culture regarding knowledge sharing depending on workplace types and occupations in order to seek for solution to increase efficiency and effects of knowledge management in the hospital organization. Key findings are as follows: For members of the hospital organization, the higher their recognition was in relation to 'concern and support of chief executive officer for knowledge management', and 'problem solution by specialists or superior in the organization and acquisition on the task knowledge', the more they worked as factors exerting positive effects on 'cooperative organizational culture regarding knowledge sharing'. And influence factors were different depending on workplace types and occupation.

경쟁/협동상황에서의 4-5세 아동의 상호작용 관찰 연구 (An Observational Study on the Behaviors of 4-to 5-Year-Olds in the Cooperative/Competitive Situation)

  • The purpose of the present study was to investigate how 4-to 5-year-olds approach a competitive/cooperative task to obtain a resource. Sex and age differences were examined for the behavior and resource utilization of this task. The subjects were 74 same-age, mixed sex groups of 4 children each in three kindergartens in a large city. Each group of 4 children were classmates. The children were videotaped in a play situation where one child could view a cartoon movie (i. e. acquiring a resource) with the assistance of two children (one to turn the film tape and one to push the light-button), and the fourth child was a bystander. Time at each position and physical and verbal behavior constitute the data which were analyzed by ANOVA and ${\chi}^2$. The results of the time analysis showed that children cooperated quickly and were able to view the cartoon(resource utilization) for a large part of the session. High resource utilizers compared with low resource utilizers, exhibited more self-assertive and helping behaviors. Boys achieved more viewing time while girls were bystanders for a greater amount of time. Boys showed more physical and verbal behaviors during the task. Four-year-olds achieved less viewing time than 5-year-olds, indicating 4-year-olds were less effective in eliciting the help of their peers.

  • Many multiagents cooperative problems, such as table transport problem, require several emergent behaviors and a proper coordination of these is essential for successful accompishment of the task. We study in this paper the genetic programming method, called fitness switching, to evolve cooperation strategies of robots in these kind of tasks and show simulation results to demonstrate its effectiveness.

제주 지역 공동육아나눔터 운영 실태 연구 (A Study of the Conditions of Cooperative Child-care Places in Jeju Self-Governing Province)

  • Communal places for parents to take child-care are very important in activating cooperative child-care(CCC). Therefore, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province has been operating Cooperative-Childcare-Places(CCPs) since 2016. This study analyzed the operational status of the CCPs and presented the model type to provide data for the activation of CCC. Qualitative analyses were applied to the results of interviews with 10 staff members. The common task they considered difficult was recruitment, and there was a big difference in the operation of the regular program depending on the competence of the staff in charge. The lack of support systems, such as education and consulting, has made it difficult for the staff to do their work. Additionly, four models of CCPs were found, a resident self-governing type, a workplace type, an institutional type, and a rural complex type. In conclusion, CCP spaces should be planned and facilities created with a focus on the needs of child-care activities. Second, the role of staff in helping to organize the parents' self-governing committee is crucial. Third, it needs to establish a support system to strengthen the capacity of the staff members.

Design and Implementation of Web-Based Cooperative Learning System Co-Net

  • This study investigated to designand implement web-based collaborative learning system Co-Net and map out students' learning procedure using the system, based upon Student Team Achievement Division (STAD Slavin, 1990, 1996). There are technical process and instructional considerations to be made during the design process. The former are those that concern equipment requirements and specifications and include Ease of Use, Speed of Access, and Flexibility. On the other hand, instructional considerationsare concerned with the delivery and access of instructional materials and their outcomes on learners. They are cooperative interactions within groups and group heterogeneity, learner control, group incentives, individual accountability, equal opportunity for earning high scores and contributing to group effort, task specialization, and competition among groups. A web site for a virtual learning environment designed and built by the authors and known as Co-Net is then explained along with the whole process learners inside the environment. The main page of Co-Net consists of 15 menus to implement cooperative learning process. The cooperative learning activities using 15 menus are composed of six phases (1) preparation of the new knowledge (2) presentation of the new knowledge (3) knowledge assimilation and application (4) team and individual evaluation (5) team and individual recognition Throughout the five phases, the appropriate use of cooperative learning techniques has been shown to have both academic and social benefits to learners.
