과학 교사 모임에서 초임 교사와 경력 교사의 상호 작용에 대한 사례 연구 (Case Study of Interaction between Novice and Expert Teachers in Science Teacher Association)

  • In this research, we observed the co-works among novice and expert science teachers who were involved in a science teacher association and explored their interactions. The science teacher association is K-12 science teachers' gathering near Seoul. This study is a case study with the participant observation and the private interview of 8 novice teachers and 3 expert teachers. Based on the collected data, interaction between novice and expert teachers was categorized as seven types; question and answer, demonstration, presentation, co-working, providing materials, listening, and showing interest. Several factors supporting such an active interaction were derived from this study; 1) Teachers perceived well about the importance and the merits of co-working with other science teachers. 2) The open and cooperative environment of the science teacher association supported teachers' interaction. 3) There were tasks that teachers needed to co-work such as the science fair and the science camp. 4) There were opportunities of interactions for publishing books and developing modules. 5) Lots of expert teachers were willing to help and co-work with novice teachers. We found that novice teachers could continue to grow in terms of the professional development under interactive, continuing and cooperative environment with expert teachers.

초등학교 과학 수업에서 대본을 사용한 협동학습의 효과 (The Effects of Scripted Cooperative Learning in Elementary School Science Instruction)

  • 이 연구는 초등학교 과학 수업에 대본을 사용한 협동학습의 적용하여 그 효과를 조사하였다. 6학년 3개 학급 95명을 대상으로 '여러 가지 기체' 단원 총 9차시에 대하여 전통수업, 협동수업, 대본을 사용한 협동수업을 실시한 후, 학업 성취도, 과학 학습 동기, 과학 수업에 대한 태도를 비교하였다. 이원 공변량 분석 결과, 학업 성취도에서 수업 처치와 성취 수준 사이에 유의미한 상호작용 효과가 나타났다. 성취 수준 하위 학생들의 학업 성취도 점수는 대본을 사용한 협동학습 집단이 다른 집단보다 유의미하게 높았다. 또한 과학 학습 동기와 과학 수업에 대한 태도 점수도 대본을 사용한 협동학습 집단이 유의미하게 높았다.

A Human Robot Interactive System 'RoJi '

  • A human-friendly interactive system that is based on the harmonious symbiotic coexistence of human and robots is explored. Based on interactive technology paradigm, a robotic cane is proposed for blind or visually impaired travelers to navigate safely and quickly through obstacles and other hazards faced by blind pedestrians. Robotic aids, such as robotic canes, require cooperation between human and robots. Various methods for implementing the appropriate cooperative recognition, planning, and acting, have been investigated. The issues discussed include the interaction between humans and robots, design issues of an interactive robotic cane, and behavior arbitration methodologies for navigation planning.

영재학생들의 사회과 학습의 역동성을 지원하는 협력교수 체제의 구안 (Construction of cooperative teaching system to support dynamics in gifted students' social studies learning)

  • 과학영재학교의 교육과정 운영과 교과지도 방법에 협력교수가 중요한 개념으로 등장하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 협력교수의 관점에서 과학영재학교의 교육과정 운영을 살펴보고, 사회과의 교수-학습과정에 적용할 수 있는 협력교수 방안과 실현 가능성을 탐색하였다. 이에 본 연구에서 살펴본 것과 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 협력교수의 개념을 정리하고 여러 교육현장에서 이 개념에 근거한 방법적 적용들이 어떠한가를 살펴보았다. 둘째, 협력교수의 관점에서 현재 과학영재학교에서 이루어지고 있는 전 교과의 교수-학습을 살펴보았다. 셋째, 현재의 교육과정과 주어진 여러 물리적.인적 여건을 고려하여 사회과의 협력교수 방안을 탐색하였다. 넷째, 협력교수의 한 방안으로 제시된 '세미나 수업'의 일부분을 시행하였다. 세미나의 대주제는 시사성이 있는 통합적 주제로 '중국의 고구려사 왜곡 문제'였으며, 지리, 역사, 일반사회, 윤리 및 사상을 담당하는 교사와 희망한 학생들이 영역별 소주제를 중심으로 연구와 협력학습이 진행되었다. 다섯째, 세미나 준비와 발표등의 과정에서 교사-교사, 학생-학생, 교사-학생의 상호작용이 활발하게 있었고, 특히 교사들 간의 상호작용은 협력교수로 발전할 수 있는 가능성을 찾게 되었다. 마지막으로, 학생들은 사회과 학습에 적극적으로 참여하려는 공감대를 형성할 수 있었고, 사회현상에 대해 연구하는 방법을 익히고 동시에 사회현상을 다각적인 관점에서 접근할 수 있는 안목을 넓히게 되었다.

Cooperative Manipulation of a Virtual Object by Multiple Remote Users

  • In this paper, we explore the issues of force display in the cooperative virtual environment shared by multiple users distributed over the network with heterogeneous hardware platforms. The proposed method is to cope with the problem of small time delay and the difference of sampling rate in the distributed configuration. In the proposed approach the interaction forces of the participants are just treated as the independent sources of acceleration. Thus the action of a participant simply changes the acceleration of the virtual object and consequently the states of the virtual object will be updated. When the updated states are reported to all the participants, the information on the time of state changes is delivered, too. Employing the discrete state information updated by the other users, each user modifies his own virtual environment and pseudo-realtime simulation can be realized. Excluding the software interface and the communication technique, it is proposed the simulation method for the operation of respective users and the way of calculating the driving input to the display device. For experimental verification we construct a cooperative virtual environment shared by two remote users and outline the results of experiments.

System Dynamics Approach to Ability of the Police for Solving Crime : Testing the Effect of Civic Cooperation with the Police

  • The purpose of the present study is to examine the effect of civic cooperation with the police on the number of crime that the police must solve by conducting simulation based on system dynamics. The study sets police oriented-policing model and police-citizen cooperative model to investigate the effect of civic cooperation with the police. As a result of the simulation, the police oriented-policing model shows that the number of crime that police must solve is increasing over time, while the police-citizen cooperative model shows that the number of crime that must be solved by the police is keeping it stable in the increase of crimes. Comparing both models, civic cooperation with the police is more effective in reducing or deterring crime than police oriented-policing activity. The study proves that building cooperative relationship between citizens and the police can become a strategic method for controlling crime effectively without a rapid increase in police finance. It is meaningful in terms of presenting a dynamic change of interaction for reducing crimes between civic cooperation with the police and policing activity of the police over time.

Effect of phenothiazine derivatives on the thermotropic phase transition of liposomal phospholipid membrane

  • The effect of phenothiazine derivatives on the thermotropic transition of liposomal lipid bilayer made of dipalmitoyl phosphatidylchline and dipalmitoyl phosphatidic acid was investigated with differential scanning calorimetry. The thermograms of the liposomal bilayer incorporated with levomepromazine, chlopromazine, prochloperazine, perphenazine and fluphenazine were obtained and the size of cooperative unit of the transition were calculated from the ratio of the van't Hoff enthalpy change to the calculated enthalpy change of the transition. The results showed that incorporation of phenothiazine derivatives into the liposomal bilayer reduced the transition temperature at which the transition from solid state to liquid-crystalline state occurs, and broadened the thermogram peaks. Phenothiazine derivatives also significantly reduced the size of cooperative unit of the transition. The effect of the drugs was proportional to the concentration of the drug in the bilayer. This means that phenothiazine derivatives might have significant fluidizing effects on the biomembrane. The sizes of cooperative unit were successfully corrlated with phar-macological activities of the drugs and the surface pressure increases of lipid monolayer by these drugs. These correlations might be ascribed to a possible hydrophobic nature of interaction between the biomembrane and the drugs involved in their pharmacology.

자폐스펙트럼장애 아동과 비장애 형제간 상호작용 향상을 위한 협력적 악기연주 프로그램 적용 사례 (Improving Social Interaction Between Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder and Their Neurotypical Siblings Through a Cooperative Music Playing Intervention)

  • 본 연구는 자폐스펙트럼장애(Autism Spectrum Disorder, 이하 ASD) 아동과 비장애 형제를 대상으로 협력적 악기연주 프로그램을 실행하여 형제간 상호작용에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위한 사례연구이다. 대상자는 만 7-12세 ASD 아동 3명과 만 6-11세 비장애 형제 3명으로 ASD 아동과 비장애 형제로 구성된 각 그룹이 40분씩, 주 2회, 총 8회기의 중재에 참여하였다. 중재는 동시적 행동 수행의 단계, 상호보완적 행동 수행의 단계, 협력을 통한 공동의 목표 성취의 단계 총 3단계로 구성되었다. 매회기 중재 시 ASD 아동과 비장애 형제에게 나타난 상호작용 시작·반응행동, 연쇄적 상호작용 행동 및 협력적 연주 행동을 관찰하여 측정하였으며 중재 전후 비장애 형제는 형제관계척도를 보호자는 보호자가 지각한 형제관계척도를 평정하도록 하였다. 연구 결과, 상호작용 시작·반응행동, 연쇄적 상호작용 행동, 협력적 연주 행동이 중재 회기가 진행됨에 따라 점차 증가하는 양상을 보였다. 보호자와 비장애 형제가 평정한 형제관계척도의 평정 점수 또한 프로그램 후 증가하였으나 형제 갈등 및 경쟁의식 하위 영역에서는 뚜렷한 변화가 나타나지 않았는데 이는 형제간 접촉이 증가하면서 갈등과 경쟁의식을 경험하는 기회 역시 증가할 수 있음을 나타낸다. ASD 아동과 비장애 형제가 함께 참여하는 중재 연구의 필요성이 증가하는 시점에서 본 연구 결과는 공동의 목표를 가지고 협력적으로 연주하는 중재가 형제간 상호작용 시도 및 친밀감 증가에 효과적일 수 있음을 시사한다.

Theoretical Mechanism Studies on the Enantioselectivity of aza-MBH-type Reaction of Nitroalkene to N-tosylimine Catalyzed by Thiourea-tertiary Amine

  • The enantioselective aza-Morita Baylis Hillman reaction of nitroalkene and N-tosylimine catalyzed by thiourea-tertiary amine has been investigated using density functional theory. Enantioselectivity is dominated by the cooperative effect of non-covalent and weak covalent interactions imposed by different units of catalyst. As Lewis base, the tertiary amine unit activates nitroalkene via weak covalent bond. The weak covalent interaction orients the reaction in a major path with smaller variations of this bond. The aromatic ring unit activates N-tosylimine via ${\pi}-{\pi}$ stacking. The non-covalent interaction selects the major path with smaller changes of the efficient packing areas. Thiourea unit donates more compact H-bonded network for species of the major path. The calculated ee value in xylene solution phase (97.6%) is much higher than that in N,N-Dimethylformamide (27.2%). Our conclusion is also supported by NBO analysis.

아동의 연령과 성별에 따른 협상수준 (Children's Negotiation Levels with their Age and Gender)

  • This study was to find out children's Negotiation Levels(NLs) according to their age and gender. The subjects for this study were 143 children of 7, 9, 12 years. Two children dyads participated in the experimental play situation with Rokenbok Electronic Toy Systems. The NLs in children's interactive dialogue & actions were scored with Stone, Robinson & Taylor(1980)'s 'Negotiation of Task Completion Coding Manual'. They were coded into Level 0(no interaction), Level l(one way interaction), Level 2(reciprocally interaction), Level 3(mutual or cooperative interaction). The results were as follows; 1) 12-year-old children negotiated with higher level than 7-and 9-year old children 2) Boys' NLs average were higher than girls'. These results imply that 1) the fluctuation of NLs in childhood, especially around 10 years, should be interpreted carefully, 2) various measuring kits for negotiation should be developed considering children's characteristics, such as age, gender etc.
