환산재해율을 산재보험수지율로의 대체 가능성 검토 연구 (Review the Possibility of Replacing the Converted Accident Ratio with the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Balance Ratio)

  • This study examined the possibility of applying the industrial accident insurance balance ratio to the calculation of the converted accident ratio in the credibility assessment of the PQ. Some correlations between the industrial accident insurance balance ratio and the converted accident ratio were found in the general tendency, however, there were no significant correlations between the two in the individual companies. Therefore, this study came to the conclusion that it is not appropriate to directly apply the industrial accident insurance balance ratio to the calculation of the converted accident ratio.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of the converted accident ratio on the contract of construction work. For doing the objective, this research analyzed the bid system and the converted accident ratio computation system in force. Additionally, we estimated what risk grades influence a successful bid of constuctin work. As a result of this study, we have recognized that the converted accident ratio scarcely has an effect on PQ process.

  • Depending on the growth of the construction industry, size of construction sites are becoming enlarged, and construction work is becoming diversified as well. However, this increases risks of safety accidents. In order to alleviate this problem, some large construction companies have implemented a Safety Patrol Management System (SPMS) in order to reduce accidents on construction sites. Aimed at the construction sites where SPMS has been applied, the purpose of this research is to calculate the proper number of SPMS safety mangers by comparing and contrasting the number of safety managers per person for each site with different sizes and the converted accident ratio. In addition, we also aim to calculate the adequate amount of SPMS safety management costs compared to the total amount of construction expenses required once SPMS is introduced.

신호교차로 안전성 향상을 위한 사고심각도 모형개발 (A Development of Models for Analyzing Traffic Accident Injury Severity for Signalized Intersections)

  • As the interest in traffic safety has been increasing recently, social movement is being made to reduce the number of traffic accidents and the view on improving the mobility of the existing roads is being converted into on establishing traffic safety as a priority. The increase of traffic accidents related to an intersection in a state that traffic accidents are decreasing overall may suggests the necessity to investigate the specific causes. In addition, we have to consider them when establishing the measures against traffic accidents in a intersection by investigating and analyzing the influences and factors that may affect traffic accidents. To induce the accident severity model, we collected the factors that affect accidents and then applied the Poisson Regression Model among nonlinear regression analysis by verifying the distribution of variables. As a result of the analysis, it turned out that the volume of traffic on main roads, the right turn ratio on sub-roads, the number of ways out on sub-roads, the number of exclusive roads for a left turn, the signals for a right turn on main roads, and an intersect angle were the factors that affect the accident severity.

A Study on the Optimal Position for the Secondary Neutron Source in Pressurized Water Reactors

  • This paper presents a new and efficient scheme to determine the optimal neutron source position in a model near-equilibrium pressurized water reactor, which is based on the OPR1000 Hanul Unit 3 Cycle 7 configuration. The proposed scheme particularly assigns importance of source positions according to the local adjoint flux distribution. In this research, detailed pin-by-pin reactor adjoint fluxes are determined by using the Monte Carlo KENO-VI code from solutions of the reactor homogeneous critical adjoint transport equations. The adjoint fluxes at each allowable source position are subsequently ranked to yield four candidate positions with the four highest adjoint fluxes. The study next simulates ex-core detector responses using the Monte Carlo MAVRIC code by assuming a neutron source is installed in one of the four candidate positions. The calculation is repeated for all positions. These detector responses are later converted into an inverse count rate ratio curve for each candidate source position. The study confirms that the optimal source position is the one with very high adjoint fluxes and detector responses, which is interestingly the original source position in the OPR1000 core, as it yields an inverse count rate ratio curve closest to the traditional 1/M line. The current work also clearly demonstrates that the proposed adjoint flux-based approach can be used to efficiently determine the optimal geometry for a neutron source and a detector in a modern pressurized water reactor core.

모방전략을 이용한 해운선사 안전관리 수준 평가제도 도입방안 연구 (Study on the Introduction of Safety Management Level Evaluation System for Shipping Company by Imitation Strategy)

  • 국가 간 국제무역 확대로 인한 물동량 증가, 국민의 삶의 질 향상에 따른 해양레저 활동의 증가 등 해상교통 환경은 빠르게 변하고 있다. 또한 선원의 고령화, 외국인 선원 증가 등 선박운항 환경도 변화하고 있다. 이러한 해상교통 및 선박운항 환경변화에 따라 시장에서는 해운선사의 수준 높은 안전관리 능력을 요구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 해운선사의 해양사고, 항만국통제, 안전관리체제 등 개별 제도에 따른 안전관리 결과를 종합적으로 평가 및 관리할 수 있는 제도 도입을 위하여 국내외 유사사례를 조사 분석하고 모방전략을 적용했다. 모방전략을 이용한 연구결과에 있어서 모방산업과 제도는 건설업체 환산재해율 산정제도, 교통안전 우수사업자 지정제도를 선정했다. 두 제도를 분석하여 모방대상으로 근거법률, 평가지표, 인센티브를 추출하고 해운선사 안전관리 수준 평가제도를 위한 근거법 도입, 해양사고율, 항만국통제 점검률, 안전관리체제 심사율로 구성된 평가지표와 안전점검의 면제, 수수료 감면 및 심사시간 단축 등의 인센티브 방안을 제안하였다. 또한 제도의 신속한 도입과 지속적인 시행을 위한 모방시점과 방법을 단계별로 제시하여 제도의 지속발전이 가능하도록 하였다.
