분리막 제습공조 시스템의 성능변수 최적화를 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Optimization of Performance Parameter for Membrane Based Dehumidification and Air Conditioning System)

  • There are three types of dehumidification systems : refrigeration dehumidification method, desiccant dehumidification method and hybrid dehumidification method. The first method involves removing moisture by condensation below the dew point, the second method involves absorption by a desiccant material and the last is an integration method. However, the refrigeration dehumidification system consumes too much power and controlling the humidity ratio is difficult. The desiccant dehumidification system uses less power but it has problems of environmental pollution. The hybrid dehumidification system has the disadvantage of a high initial cost. On the other hand, the energy consumption of the membrane based dehumidification system is lower than for the refrigeration dehumidification system. Also, it is an environmentally friendly technology. In this study, the performance parameters are evaluated for the dehumidification system using a hollow fiber membrane. Available area, duct side dry-bulb temperature, sweep gas flux (flow rate) and LMPD (Log Mean Pressure Difference) were used as the performance parameters.

  • Waste fuels, which originate from different sources, have unique combustion characteristics. The characteristics should be considered in applying FBC(fluidized bed combustor) technology to those fuels. The effects of fuel properties and operating conditions on FBC reactivity were investigated by means of carbon based parameter called mean carbon conversion time, rate of carbon conversion, fraction of carbon conversion and carbon recovery. And the basic physical and chemical mechanisms taking place in a fluidized bed were summarized. Major parameters in designing and operating FBC were evaluated in terms of the fuel properties and the combustion environment.

ADCP를 활용한 제주 강정천의 평균유속 분포 추정 (A Study on the Mean Flow Velocity Distribution of Jeju Gangjung-Stream using ADCP)

  • In this study, the Chiu-2D velocity-flow rate distribution based on theoretical background of the entropy probability method was applied to actual ADCP measurement data of Gangjung Stream in Jeju from July 2011 to June 2015 to predict the parameter that take part in velocity distribution of the stream. In addition, surface velocity measured by SIV (Surface Image Velocimeter) was applied to the predicted parameter to calculate discharge. Calculated discharge was compared with observed discharge of ADCP observed during the same time to analyze propriety and applicability of depth of water velocity average conversion factor. To check applicability of the predicted stream parameter, surface velocity and discharge were calculated using SIV and compared with velocity and flow based on ADCP. Discharge calculated by applying velocity factor of SIV to the Chiu-2D velocity-flow rate distribution and discharge based on depth of water velocity average conversion factor of 0.85 were $0.7171m^3/sec$ and $0.5758m^3/sec$, respectively. Their error rates compared to average ADCP discharge of $0.6664m^3/sec$ were respectively 7.63% and 13.64%. Discharge based on the Chiu-2D velocity-flow distribution showed lower error rate compared to discharge based on depth of water velocity average conversion factor of 0.85.

남녀 음성 변환 기술연구 (A Study On Male-To-Female Voice Conversion)

  • Voice conversion technology is essential for TTS systems because the construction of speech database takes much effort. In this paper. male-to-female voice conversion technology in Korean LPC TTS system has been studied. In general. the parameters for voice color conversion are categorized into acoustic and prosodic parameters. This paper adopts LSF(Line Spectral Frequency) for acoustic parameter, pitch period and duration for prosodic parameters. In this paper. Pitch period is shortened by the half, duration is shortened by $25\%, and LSFs are shifted linearly for the voice conversion. And the synthesized speech is post-filtered by a bandpass filter. The proposed algorithm is simpler than other algorithms. for example, VQ and Neural Net based methods. And we don't even need to estimate formant information. The MOS(Mean Opinion Socre) test for naturalness shows 2.25 and for female closeness, 3.2. In conclusion, by using the proposed algorithm. male-to-female voice conversion system can be simply implemented with relatively successful results.

  • This paper deals with a parameter estimation of the DC-DC converter system for its diagnosis. Especially, we present the results of parameter estimation for the DC-DC converter model by the system identification method. The parameter estimation for the DC-DC converter system aims at the diagnosis of its operating status. For the operating status diagnosis of the DC-DC converter system, we assume that the DC-DC converter system is an equivalent model of the Buck converter and estimate the main parameter for on-line diagnosis. In addition, for verification of an estimated parameter, we compare a bode plot of the estimated system transfer function and measurement results of the HP4194 instrument. It is a control system analyzer for system transfer function measurement. Our results confirm that the main parameter for diagnosis of the DC-DC converter system can be estimated by the system identification method and that the aging status of the system can be predicted by these results on operating status.

  • This paper presents an online voltage disturbance estimator to achieve precise torque control of IPMSMs over a high speed operating region. The proposed design has a type of state-filter based on a Luenburger-style closed loop stator current vector observer. Utilizing the frequency response plot (FRF) approach, the estimation accuracy and the parameter sensitivities are analyzed. Accurate torque control and improved efficiency are provided with the decoupling of the effect of the parameter variations. The feasibility of the presented idea is verified by laboratory experiments.

위성통신용 Ku-Band 믹서에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mixer for Satellite Communication at Ku-Band)

  • 본 논문은 마이크로웨이브 시뮬레이션 CAD, LINMIC+을 이용하여 소신호 산란계수로 Ku-band용 FET 주파수혼합기를 설계 및 구현하였다. 입력주파수 14GHz에서 구현한 주파수혼합기의 성능을 국부발진 전력레벨이 +1dBm일때 중간주파수 1GHz에서 9.88dB의 변환이득을 얻었다. 또 중간주파수 1.1GHz에서 최대변환이득 11.71dB를 얻었다. 결국 신호주파수 증폭기나 중간주파수 증폭기의 필요성이 낮아진다. 또 낮은 국부발진 전력레벨로 원하는 변환이득을 유지하면서 주파수의 혼합이 가능함을 입증하였다. 변환이득(conversion gain)은 가용이득보다 큰 것을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

  • The cure properties of ethoxysilyl diglycidyl isocyanurate(Ethoxysilyl-DGIC) and ethylsilyl diglycidyl isocyanurate (Ethylsilyl-DGIC) epoxy resin systems with a phenol novolac hardener were investigated for anticipating fan out-wafer level package(FO-WLP) applications, comparing with ethoxysilyl diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A(Ethoxysilyl-DGEBA) epoxy resin systems. The cure kinetics of these systems were analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry with an isothermal approach, and the kinetic parameters of all systems were reported in generalized kinetic equations with diffusion effects. The isocyanurate type epoxy resin systems represented the higher cure conversion rates comparing with bisphenol-A type epoxy resin systems. The Ethoxysilyl-DGIC epoxy resin system showed the highest cure conversion rates than Ethylsilyl-DGIC and Ethoxysilyl-DGEBA epoxy resin systems. It can be figured out by kinetic parameter analysis that the highest conversion rates of Ethoxysilyl-DGIC epoxy resin system are caused by higher collision frequency factor. However, the cure conversion rate increases of the Ethylsilyl-DGEBA comparing with Ethoxysilyl-DGEBA are due to the lower activation energy of Ethylsilyl-DGIC. These higher cure conversion rates in the isocyanurate type epoxy resin systems could be explained by the improvements of reaction molecule movements according to the compact structure of isocyanurate epoxy resin.

  • 본 논문에서는 새로운 디지털-아날로그 변환알고리즘을 적용한 CMOS 디지털-아날로그 변환기를 개발하였다. 이 변환기를 1.2㎛ MOSIS SCMOS 파라미터로 설계하여 시뮬레이션으로 그 성능을 확인해 본 결과 200MHz의 최대변환속도와 7.41mW의 DC 소모전력을 나타내었고 8-b에서 각각 ±0.008LSB의 INL(integral nonlinearity)과 ±0.098LSB의 DNL(differential nonlinearity)를 나타내었다.

직접변환 수신기용 가변 차단주파수특성을 갖는 CMOS Gm-C 저역통과필터 설계 (The Design of A CMOS Gm-C Lowpass Filter with Variable Cutoff Frequency for Direct Conversion Receiver)

  • A CMOS Gm-C filter with variable cutoff frequency applicable for using in the direct conversion receiver is designed. The designed filter comprises the CMOS differential transconductors, and the gm of the transconductor is controlled by the bias voltage. This configuration can compensate variant of the cutoff frequency which could be generated by external noises, and also be used in multiband receiver. As a results of HSPICE simulation, the control range of the cutoff frequency is $1.5MHz{\sim}3.5MHz$ and the gain control range is $-2.8dB{\sim}2.6dB$. The layout of the designed 5th-order Elliptic low-pass filter is performed to fabricate a chip using $2.5V-0.25{\mu}m$ CMOS processing parameter.
