This study applied virtual reality to women health nursing practicum for nursing students and analyzed the educational effect on meta-cognition and critical thinking. The study design was a convergent mixed method using single-group pre-post test design and individual in-depth interviews. After applying the virtual reality program, the post-score (104.16±12.98) was statistically significantly higher than the pre-score (98.59±18.09) (t=1.85, p=.030). There was no statistically significant difference in critical thinking after the program, with the post-score of 101.66±7.18 and the pre-score of 99.18±15.13 (t=1.00, p=.108). Therefore, women health nursing practice education using virtual reality can help improve the meta-cognition of nursing students.

Israel craves peace and freedom. Israel has won many wars and conflicts militarily. They have developed strategic thinking based on the data, unique culture, and peacetime preparation system accumulated so far, and the strategic culture based on it contributes to fostering elite strong forces by presenting directions to security strategies.The strategic culture formed by Israeli beliefs, behavioral patterns, and identity influenced strategic thinking and the usefulness of security strategies. The purpose of this study is to redefine the concept of strategic culture by referring to the methodological discussion of strategic culture theory and to examine how useful strategic culture has provided strategic thinking and security strategies. In addition, based on the impact of Israel's strategic culture on security strategy, I would like to present implications for Korea's security strategy.

Convergence refers to create a new one by combining the different elements of two or more. Currently convergence has expanded academy, industry and education from the concept of combining heterogeneous inter-technology. The most important key to the convergence in success is to derive ideas for problem solving. However, the idea derivation is done in companies to hire professional people for letting the innovation of corporate planning and new product in most cases. It is hard to get the expected results of convergence's variety. In this research, the creation of the general public for their ideas is main focus on developing a curriculum. Development models are: 1) strengthening the internal capacity for creative thinking, 2) curriculum meets the consumer 3) an understanding of convergence technology 4) creative ideas and planning ability is composed of four concepts. It is expected that convergence man power having the creative idea is trained in case of applying the proposed education model to the convergence education.

The purpose of this study was to investigate convergent factors which influence nursing students' problem solving abilities. Participants were 224 nursing students selected by convenience sampling at universities in Seoul, Chungnam-do, and Ulsan. Data were collected using a questionnaire from 6 March to 20 April, 2013. The SPSS/WIN 21.0 program was used for data analysis. There were positive correlations between problem solving abilities and critical thinking, empathy, nursing professionalism, self leadership. Participants who had good GPA(Grade point average) and interpersonal relationship more likely to have better problem solving abilities than those who did not. The influencing factors on problem solving abilities of nursing students were critical thinking, empathy, nursing professionalism, self leadership, grade point average, and satisfaction for practicum. These findings imply that we need to develop and apply new instruction strategies on fostering critical thinking, empathy, nursing professionalism, self leadership to improve nursing students' problem solving abilities.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of online psychiatric nursing practicum including virtual simulation on goal commitment, self-efficacy, critical thinking disposition, and problem solving ability of nursing students in the COVID-19 situation with difficult clinical practice. The subjects of this study were collected using an online questionnaire for third-year nursing students located in A city, and 31 students participated in the final. The results of this study showed that goal commitment and critical thinking disposition were improved in the post-test compared to the pre-test, but were not statistically significant. Self-efficacy (t=4.222, p<.001) and problem solving ability (t=6.807, p<.001) were signifincantly improved after than before online practicum. This findings indicate that online psychiatric nursing practicum including virtual simulation is effective in improving self-efficacy and problem solving ability. As it is difficult to perform nursing practice directly in the clinical field due to the recent COVID-19, it is expected that the limitations of online practicum can be overcome by utilizing various online contents including virtual simulations in online psychiatric nursing practicum.

Gamification can be more fun and interesting than boring and it can be used for variety of educational subjects. Through the fun and flow of the learner, the learner understands the meaning and context of the problem to be solved. It will be able to collect, analyze and creatively solve data in a way that computers understand. Training through gamification will be an effective and memorable coding education for the efficient learning of coding education among the newly designated compulsory education. It is considered to be highly useful as a convergence study to increase tourism experience. Currently, in the field of school, coding education is mainly conducted using entry and scratch, which are educational programming languages, and coding education using gamification is not extensively used in the current education field. It is also expected to be used to increase the tourism experience, and it can be used to enhance the learner's computational thinking ability and creativity.

Background: In modern society, rapid changes in the medical environment have required medical staff to access various information and be competent in active and effective problem-solving through collegial interactions. In line with these changes, universities are aiming to connect education. This study aimed to provide basic data of connected-convergence education by survey the awareness and needs of college students in health-related fields. Methods: This study included 122 college students from the health field. A survey regarding "the awareness and need of connected-convergence education" was conducted and general characteristics of the participants were collected from June to July 2022. Results: The awareness of connected-convergence education was low at 19.7%, but the intention to participate was high at 74.6%. Subject requirements were 18.0% for medical psychology, 13.5% for communication and counseling, 13.5% for medical artificial intelligence technology convergence, and 10.4% for sports health management. In the group showing high satisfaction with the major curriculum, the demand for connected education was also high. For efficient operation, it was investigated that it was necessary to secure specialized training courses, recognition of liberal arts credits, the right to register for courses equal to those of major students, and secure dedicated classrooms. Conclusion: Although the awareness and experience of connected-convergence education among the participants were low, the intention to participate was high. As such a plan to revitalize the university curriculum was required. It is timely to discuss the nurturing of convergence-type talents and multidisciplinary thinking skills. It is meaningful to provide basic data necessary for connected-convergence education in health-related fields at university. Universities should strive to enhance job competency in the health field by providing connected-convergence education based on student demands.

The new paradigm of the 21st Century science education explores a wide range of possibilities that can foster students' interest toward science and creative convergence thinking. The purpose of this study was to utilize science visual media that can improve students' scientific creativity and artistic sensibility. Curriculum reorganization can be one solution for the primary convergence science teaching and learning strategies using science visual media. Through a new and exciting experiment to a various science visual media such as science picture, TV film, movie, UCC, etc., we hope this teaching and learning strategy can increase the students' scientific interest and attitude.

A design thinking-based collaborative workshop in which various stakeholders in the milk processing industry circulation ecosystem participated shows a new problem innovation paradigm that encourages the spread of practical prototyping culture. in the expression of empathy and collective intelligence among members on facing issues, the conversion of collaboration and communication methods, the business handling of the organization based on the design work method as 'creativity mechanism'. In this workshop, which was promoted in three stages of 'approach to problems', 're-definition of problems', and 'experience-based future vision design', participants themselves redefine real problems in terms of the accuracy of feed orders between feed suppliers and livestock farmers, ordering of feeds on time, cost reduction of feed supply and present new alternatives and expanded business areas. The results suggested in this workshop suggest the usefulness of design thinking in business innovation in that they presented how to approach the problem and a creative thinking system to find its solution to direct and indirect stakeholders of the industry as well as the improvement of supply and demand rate of livestock feed and quality.

The purpose of this study is to examine to identify the mediating effects of emotional intelligence in the relation between critical thinking disposition and clinical competence among new graduate nurses immediately after graduation. Subjects were 181 new graduate nurses immediately after graduation. in two general hospitals in C city and K city. Data were collected by self-report questionnaires from February 27 to March 30, 2017. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and Multiple regression and Sobel test to test the significance of a mediation effect using SPSS 23 software. Emotional intelligence were significantly positive correlations with critical thinking disposition(r=.62, p<.001) and clinical competence(r=.60, p<.001) in new graduate nurses immediately after graduation. Emotional intelligence partially mediated the relationship between critical thinking disposition and clinical competence which showed significance in Sobel's test(Z=3.88, p<.001). Theses results indicated that in order to improve the clinical competence of new nurse, it is necessary to develop and test the program for improving not only on the critical thinking disposition but also on the emotional intelligence.
