  • With the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, education on artificial intelligence is one of the important topics. However, since existing education is aimed at knowledge, it is not suitable for developing the active problem-solving ability and AI utilization ability required by artificial intelligence education. To solve this problem, we proposes PBL-based education method in which learners learn in the process of solving the presented problem. The problem presented to the learner is a completed project. This project consists of three types: a classification model, the training data of the classification model, and the block code to be executed according to the classified result. The project works, but each component is designed to perform a low level of operation. In order to solve this problem, the learners can expect to improve their computational thinking skills by finding problems in the project through testing, finding solutions through discussion, and improving to a higher level of operation.

  • The purpose of this study is to conduct computational thinking-based software education for a 5-year-old, and to analyze educational meanings. For the study, a total of 10 activities were applied for 50 children at two kindergartens located in Seoul and the collected data were analyzed qualitatively. As a result of the study, the educational meaning that founded to young children in software classes was finding problems in prior experiences, approaching the simulation process with stories, and feeling of interest and achievement through software devices. The educational meanings that founded to the teacher were to ask questions to support the procedural thinking process, to lead the thought process to concrete experiences, and to move between group activities and individual activities appropriately. In the future, research on the effectiveness of computational thinking-based software education should be conducted.

  • This study was conducted to identify the effects of fundamental nursing practice education using flipped learning on self confidence performance, academic achievement and critical thinking. The subjects of this study were 38 experimental groups and 36 control groups, who were in the second year of the department of nursing at D university, and Flip learning was applied to the experimental group for four weeks, while the existing teaching methods were applied to the control group. As a result, the academic achievement of vital signs in the experimental group after the experiment with flip learning was significantly higher than the control group (t=2.921, p=.005), but other variables were not significant. In addition, the critical thinking of the experimental group was significantly increased after the experiment than before (t=2.277 p=.029). However, it was not significant in the control group. In the future, various studies using flip learning in nursing are needed.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the differences in self-efficacy, clinical performance ability, and critical thinking disposition after applying education integrated educational virtual reality simulation to training and outside school clinical practice to nursing college students and to provide them as basic data for effective practical education. This study was conducted from June 8 to July 3, 2020, and enrolled in the 3rd year of university in G city, and 30 subjects who did not receive virtual reality simulation training or outside school clinical training at all. Data were analyzed by Paired t-test. As a result of the study, the result of pretest and posttest to each group showed statistically significant improvements in self-efficacy, clinical performance ability, and critical thinking disposition. As a results of the study, education integrating virtual reality simulation training and clinical practice for nursing students to improves clinical performance ability, improves critical thinking, and self-efficacy, so it is thought that various virtual reality simulation training must be suitable for clinical situations before practice is necessary.

  • The age of the $4^{th}$ Industrial revolution characterized with artificial intelligence leads to increased interest in emotional aspects representing humanity as counterpart competence to the digital literacy, As the educational model to foster emotional intelligence, noticed is 'maker education based on design thinking process,' since it cultivates the spirits of empathy, intuitive thinking, collaboration, communication, sharing, and openness. In this context, this study aimed to examine relationship between the educational model and emotional intelligence. For this purpose, a case study has been conducted with 37 undergraduate students in an University general education class, and the results of data collection and analysis confirmed positive influences of the program in enhancing most components of the emotional intelligence.

  • A 'wicked problem' is something that is hard to notice and not easy to perceive. This study focuses on understanding the precise concept of wicked problem through studying the background that led to the introduction of the term wicked problem. On the other hand, for social innovation, which has recently become a hot topic, it is necessary to identify wicked problem. Social innovation means solving in an innovative way that is more effective, efficient and sustainable than existing ones. As the beneficiary is not an individual but a society, it is in line with the field covered by wicked problem. Therefore, the study introduces a case in which wicked problems are solved through novel ways, that is, design thinking. Through the case study, it was confirmed that design thinking helps identifying problems that are not revealed and contributes to social innovation. As a result, we hope that this research will contribute to help solve the problems that we need to resolve in our society by using design thinking.

  • In the near future, as artificial intelligence and computing network technology develop, collaboration with artificial intelligence (AI) will become important. In an AI society, the ability to communicate and collaborate among people is an important element of talent. To do this, it is necessary to understand how artificial intelligence based on computer science works. An algorithmic education focused on problem solving and learning is efficient for computer science education. In this study, the results of an assessment of computational thinking at the beginning of the semester, a satisfaction survey at the end of the semester, and academic performance were compared and analyzed for 28 students who received algorithmic education focused on problem-solving learning. As a result of diagnosing students' computational thinking and problem-solving learning, teaching methods, lecture satisfaction, and other environmental factors, a correlation was found, and regression analysis confirmed that problem-solving learning had an effect on improving lecture satisfaction and computational thinking ability. For algorithmic education, if you pursue a problem-solving learning technique and a way to improve students' satisfaction, it will help students improve their problem-solving skills.

  • This study examined to identify the effect of self-leadership, career decision-making self-efficacy, and critical thinking disposition on career preparation behavior in nursing students. Data were collected from nursing students attending in nursing departments in G and M cities from April to June 2019. The 208 data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Self-leadership(β=.331, p<.001) and critical thinking disposition(β=.302, p<.001) reported to have effect on career preparation behavior. The study model accounted for 38.7% of career preparation behavior. These results suggest that measures to promote self-leadership and career decision-making self-efficacy should be developed and operated to improve career preparation behavior of nursing students in the nursing education field.

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of simulation practice education applied to nursing students on communication competency, critical thinking tendencies, and professionalism. This study is a one-group pre-post test design-like experimental design study, and 89 fourth graders of the Department of Nursing at one university were targeted. Data collection was from September to December 2019. The collected data were analyzed through frequency and percentage, mean, standard deviation, paired t-test, and Pearson correlation using the SPSS 20.1 program. As a result of the study, the subject's communication competency after simulation practice training (t=3.41, p<.001), critical thinking tendency (t=2.75, p<.007), professionalism was found to have increased statistically significantly (t=2.56, p<.012). After simulation practice, it was found that communication competency, critical thinking tendencies, and professionalism each had a positive correlation.
