  • In this paper some procedures are given whereby an analytic solution may be found for the Riccati differential equation and algebraic Riccati equation in optimal control theory. Some iterative techniques for solving these equations are presented. Rate of convergence and initialization of the iterative processes are discussed.

  • The equations arising from the thermoelastic theory are analyzed in a linear approximation. First, we establish the convergence result on the coefficient c. Next, we establish that the solution depends continuously on changes in the coefficient c. The main tool used in this paper is the energy method.

  • In this paper, we extend the study of general convergence theorems for the Picard iteration of Proinov contraction from the class of continuous mappings to the class of discontinuous mappings. As a by product we provide a new affirmative answer to the open problem posed in [20].

  • By the means of pervasiveness of ICT, ICT firms in the dynamic competition try to get the competitive advantage through the combination with the other industrial technologies and the firms in other industries also seek innovations in this way. To ICT suppliers, the application industries were completely different before but if ICT is applied to that industries once, the convergence phenomenon could occur as a part of an ICT industry. So, this research focuses the causality between ICT supplier's behavior and technological convergence according to the research question about what should ICT firms do for ICT convergence. We observed technological changes in the automotive industry through the Nasdaq listed firms' patent activities of 10-year period from the perspective of evolutionary theory. As a result, while the innovativeness of technological trials by ICT suppliers enhances the possibility of technological convergence, diversity of those can reduce the emergence of ICT convergence. This implies that ICT firms should focus specialized technologies for convergence rather than various technological options for the uncertain future.

  • Generally, it is said that control of the inertia system is to track the reference input quickly while suppressing the vibration due to the system itself. In this case, the difficulty fur designing a controller is caused by modeling uncertainty and parameter variation. The purpose of this paper is to propose a design method to suppress the vibration of three-mass inertia system based on the LMI theory. That is, the generalized plant model by which we can cope with conservativeness of the existing H$_{*}$ theory is proposed and analyzed in terms of LMI. The results of simulation fur the three-mass inertia system show that the proposed design approach is quite effective under the given situations.

  • This paper propose a robust control method to achieve a desired system performance in spite of system uncertainty and disturbance uncertainty. The procedures of the robust controller based on QFT(Quantitative Feedback Theory) make template, bound and loop shaping which are considered by system parameter variations and performance specifications. To prove the efficiency, the designed controller is applied for an inverted pendulum which is so sensitive to the parameter variation and has a highly nonlinear and unstable characteristics. It is shown that the simulation and experimental results from the proposed controller are efficient in robustness of parameter variation and disturbance.

  • The government is to prevent technology leakage in 2007, the Industrial Technology Protection Act was enacted and encouraging deployment of security equipment. in this study, corporate security equipment for the tried to determine the cause. In contrast to quantitative research, which is an existing research method, Barney G. Glaser & Anselm L. Strauss used a grounded theory as a kind of qualitative methodology in social science. As a result, it was found that the higher the government subsidy, the request from the representative or the client, the higher the efficiency through the prevention of technology leakage, the higher the sales increase, In the United States.

  • In recent trends, the first age of digital device usage has been significantly getting low and the using frequencies for younger generation have been gradually increasing. Also, while there were more negative opinions of this trend in the past, the new idea is changing to more needs of training and approaches for children's sound using guidelines for digital device. In fact, people believe the new generation will face more advanced future, called the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The purpose of the paper is first to explain about the Jacques Lacan's concept of desire theory in order to understand the human's unconscious level through His desire theory. Second, the paper identifies how this unconscious level is affected to ethical aspects of new generations whose unconscious level are frequently and early exposed to digital media. Lastly, the paper will present the necessity of digital literacy education as well as future direction. Furthermore, the paper review for what is the ethics and positive guidelines of digital media for children who will become the future citizens in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
