As the limitation of the existing convergence is pointed out, technology-humanities convergence which highlights the enhancement of the quality of life of humans, is focused as a solution to facilitate sustainable technological innovation. Technology-humanities convergence has already occurred in various industries, of which a considerable number of successful cases can be noted. However, few efforts have been made to investigate technologyhumanities convergence as an independent academic field. Therefore, this paper aimed to identify the status of technology-humanities convergence. To do this, first, a definition of technology-humanities convergence was proposed. Second, based on Maslow's theory, the types of human needs and related key words were extracted. Third, patents related to human needs were collected from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (2000~2014). Fourth and last, the status of technology-humanities convergence was analyzed in terms of "convergence trends" and "convergence areas." This research is expected to promote more creative and human-centered performances of innovation as well as to support decision-making when the innovation strategy-as attempted by the quantitative analysis of technology-humanities convergence in the perspective of sustainable competitiveness-is established.

The expansion of information sharing activities using online can increase the threat of information exposure by increasing the diversity of approaches to information within an organization. The purpose of this study is to present conditions for improving the information security compliance intention of insiders to improve the level of information security within the organization. In detail, the study applies the theory of planned behavior that clearly explains the cause of an individual's behavior and proposes a way to increase the compliance intention by integrating the social control theory and goal-setting theory. The study presented research models and hypotheses based on previous studies, collected samples by applying a questionnaire technique, and tested hypotheses through structural equation modeling. As a result, information security attitude, subjective norms, and self-efficacy had a positive influence on the intention to comply. Also, attachment, commitment, and involvement, which are the factors of social control theory, formed a positive attitude toward information security. Goal difficulty and goal specificity, which are the factors of goal setting theory, formed a positive self-efficacy. The study presents academic and practical implications in terms of suggesting a method of improving the information security compliance intention of employees.

This study attempts to reconsider the significance of political economy as a theory of knowledge and/or a method for explaining the convergence of broadcast and telecommunications. It is going to suggest what the domains of political economy should be in the future by both highlighting the characteristics and blind spots of previous studies and drawing some distinctive features of a new media environment. The principals and recent research trends in political economy are reviewed in order to make clear that the historical totality as a meta-framework of political economy needs to be reexamined in the era of convergence. Although the scope of political economy has been limited to criticize the structure of media ownerships, the study emphasizes the importance of media consumer theory. It also discusses the problems of free market theory, distortion of active media audience theory, and limitations and creative tension of audience commodity. Finally, this study stresses the significance of audience-oriented policies in order to make approach to practical sides of media politics.

Media convergence is prevalent all over the world, and is expected to change our lives dramatically in near future. Chaos theory is a new emerging theoretical approach to various social phenomena including organization management, economic system, stock market fluctuation, and so on. This thesis is intended to explain media convergence phenomena centered on internet media using basic concepts of chaos theory such as self-organization, co-evolution, and feedback loop. The implications of this tentative study are that we can apply chaos theory to media convergence as other social or natural phenomena, and that maintaining chaos state of media system is useful for accelerating creativities, and that developing media system as an organic system to cooperate with other relevant systems is helpful for promoting life qualities, and that establishing moral order or root value is desirable for implementing communicatopia.

Based on Technology Threat Avoidance Theory, this study explains the process that the users cope with IT Threat and accomplish IS outcome. To empirically test the proposed model, data were collected through a survey of respondents who have the experience of using IS, and analyzed by using structural equations modelling. The result shows IT Threat had negative effects on Problem-Focused Coping and IS Appropriation. Also Problem-Focused Coping had significant effects on IS Appropriation and IS Appropriation had positive relation on IS Performance. In conclusion the study proposed that IT users improve Convergence Information System Performance by Problem-Focused Coping when they perceive IT Threat.

This study investigated consumer convergence preferences for healthcare information service in social media using the multi-attribute utility theory. The multi-attribute utility theory is an approach for compositional modeling attributes wherein researchers compute the overall service utility by aggregating the evaluation results for attribute values. We found that healthcare information service consumers in social media evaluate the service preference through the multi attributes - Update, Cost, Usefulness, Usability, Reliability. And the study shows that individual preference by estimating weight of each attribute in the services influences the service use intention. So we believe that estimating preferences with multi-attribute utility theory will predict business success of the services in a new media, and for a successful business of the social media services marketers should assess the consumer's preference using the multi-attributes.

The purpose of this study is to understand the food and nutritional value of based on the oriental Qi-flvor theory and to convergence understanding of dietary effects. In this study, dietary effect of Yulmubokyeoljuk based on oriental theory and analyzed the contents of general composition and minerals. We recognize the value as a food that can be used for therapy of Yulmubokyeoljuk. Phosphorus content was high and high calory foods. In addition, by discharging stagnant water in the spleen, excessive wetness is removed and the function of transportation of the spleen is strengthened. The results of this study suggest that it provided the basis of the characteristics of food and the necessity of convergence approach to dietary efficacy based on the traditional Qi-flvor theory and nutrional composition.

The research background of this paper is because the u-convergence information system applying flow theory lacks the measurement of tourist satisfaction. The purpose and research method of this study are as follows. The first is the suggestion of flow relation information display format algorithm. Second, by combining this algorithm and flow theory, a pattern algorithm was created according to the content information quality and the personality type of tourists. The expected effect of this study is to derive the success factors of the u-convergence information system by generating a pattern algorithm according to the flow relationship information display format and the tourist's personality type. The limitations of this paper are limited to one area, and objectivity is poor due to the lack of data and small area. In the future, it is necessary to evaluate the effectiveness through analysis after applying the method presented to other tourist destinations. Future tasks will need to be supplemented with data from expert groups and objectivity in various regions.

The industrial life cycle theory was extended to the product life cycle theory and the corporate life cycle theory, but a conceptual life cycle was presented, and quantitative empirical evidence for this was insufficient. It is intended to improve appropriate resource planning and resource allocation by quantitatively predicting the industrial cycle and its position (age) in the cycle. Human resources, tangible assets, and industrial output analysis were conducted based on 28 years of actual data of 39 industries in Korea by applying the Gompertz model, which is a population ecology prediction model. By predicting with the Gompertz model, the coefficient of determination R2 value was 97% or more, confirming the high suitability with the actual cumulative sales value of the industry. A numerical model for calculating the life cycle of each industry, calculating the saturation of input resources for each industry, and diagnosing the financial stability of the industry was presented. These results will contribute to the decision-making of industrial policy officers for budget planning appropriately for each stage of industry development. Future research will apply the numerical model of this study to foreign national industries, complete an inter-industry convergence diagnostic model (e.g. ease of convergence, suitability of convergence, etc.) for renewal of fading industries.

This study was examined that natural seasoning is related to health care and disease prevention through oriental medicinal theory. A typical oriental medicinal theory is the princeple of win-win cooperation between Yin-Yang and Five elements, the old belief is that our body moves in harmony with Yin-Yang and Five elements. From the records traditional books and papers, we would look at the affinity and nutritional relationship between Five taste(Sweet, Salt, Sour, Bitter, Heat and Spicy) and the body with "Sesame" Therefore, several type of Sesame which is represented by natural seasoning, through intake of Five taste because of body affinity, is expected to prolong health life span.
