구조자의 위치에 따른 적절한 후두마스크기도기 삽입방법은 무엇일까? : 검지손가락법과 엄지손가락법의 비교 (Which is the proper insertion method of laryngeal mask airway according to the rescuer's position? : Comparison between index finger insertion and thumb insertion)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of laryngeal mask airway (LMA) insertion from different positions, using different methods, on the quality of the insertion, for identifying a more convenient and effective insertion method. Methods: In a model ambulance, 30 paramedic students performed the LMA insertion procedure, in four different settings, combinations of the rescuer's position (at the head end of the patient, at the side of the patient), and insertion technique (index finger insertion, thumb insertion), in a randomized order. Quality of insertion index and convenience of use were measured. Results: The quality of insertion index (tidal volume, gastric insufflation, airway pressure, airway sealing pressure, midline positions, insertion success grade, and insertion time) were not significantly different among four different settings. However LMA insertion from the anterior (head) end, using the index finger method compared to the thumb method was found to be significantly more convenient. Conclusion: We recommend using the more convenient and familiar LMA insertion method, between index finger insertion and thumb insertion, regardless of rescuer's position.

  • This paper proposes a convenient thermal modeling method for loss distribution control method of 3-level Active NPC(Neutral Point Clamped) inverter. In the drawback of conventional 3-level NPC, the generated losses can occur unbalance in each switching device, as a result, thermal utilization of designed system has been decreased. In order to compensate unbalanced losses, Active NPC inverter performed loss balancing control with thermal modeling during operation of each switching device. Therefore, this paper deals with a convenient thermal modeling method based on newton's law of cooling rather than conventional thermal modeling method. Both simulation and experimental results based on 10kW 3-level Active NPC inverter confirm the validity of the analysis performed in the study.

  • 대학생들은 학술정보를 검색할 때, 도서관 OPAC보다 인터넷을 선호한다. 인터넷 검색에 뒤지지 않고 이용 편리성에 우선하는 OPAC의 인터페이스 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구는 웹 2.0 실현의 한 방법으로 간편 검색도구인 도서관(OPAC) 툴바를 제공하여 인터넷 툴바와 비교평가 함으로써, OPAC도 인터넷과 같이 편리하고 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 검색도구임을 규명하였다. 이와 더불어 본 연구에서 조사한 정보검색 사이트 선호 요인 및 인터넷과 도서관 OPAC의 비교에서 도출한 논점은 Library 2.0을 실현하는 사용편리성에 우선하는 OPAC 구현에 기초 자료가 될 것이다.

The Development of Safety and Functional Snowboard Wear Design - Focus on the Safety Snowboard Pants for the Protection of Hip -

  • This research helps secure the safety of snow boarders in an activity that is currently recognized as a minor specific hobby. The research goal is to develop a new board wear product with intensified safety and activity through the development of a safe and convenient snowboard wear that is wearable in ordinary life. The participants consisted of 31 snowboard club members evaluated from January 12 to January 19 at Eden-valley Ski Resort and Phoenix-park Resort in Korea. The result are as follows. First, what domestic snowboard wear consumers consider design difference and brand recognition a significant priority in choosing snowboard wear versus the functionality or safety of clothes. Second, concerning the evaluation of the developed product, they recognize the necessity of safety gear; however, they demand the convenient use of a safety gear with a fixation that can be attached and detached. A unity-type board wear was developed that enables an attachment and detachment that reflects the evaluation results. In conclusion, this research showed various market possibility of board wear into sports casual wear to be able to make it a fashion product through different design and demand of mixing it with general wear rather than functionality or activity, though board wear is a professional sports wear.

빔 형성 RFID 리더기를 이용한 편리한 쇼핑 시스템 (Beamforming RFID Reader based Convenient Shopping System)

  • 본 논문에서는 빔 형성 RFID 리더기 모듈을 제안하고 이를 이용한 편리한 쇼핑 시스템을 설계한다. 스위치 빔 형성(Switched Beamforming) RFID 리더기를 이용 쇼핑 매장용 스마트 게이트를 설계함으로써 기존 쇼핑시스템의 문제점인 태그 인식률을 높여주고 적응적 빔 파라미터 설계로 리더기의 자동 태그인식 기능을 개선한다. 제안한 시스템은 쇼핑 카트의 태그 정보를 수신 및 처리하는 스마트 게이트, 태그정보에 포함된 가격자료 확인 및 결제처리를 하는 결제 시스템, 결제 시스템의 결제 정보를 수합하고 이 정보를 활용 소비자 구매도 분석, 재고관리 및 납품관리를 하는 중앙 서버로 구성된다. 제안된 쇼핑 시스템이 기존의 쇼핑 시스템에 비해 성능면에서도 우위일 뿐 아니라 실용성, 고객의 편의성을 개선과 아울러 유지 관리 비용측면에도 이점이 있음을 보여준다.

수삼가루를 첨가한 간편식 닭죽의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Convenient Chicken Porridge Made with Fresh Ginseng Powder)

  • This study investigated the quality characteristics of convenient chicken porridge prepared with fresh ginseng powder (FGP). The porridge made with the addition of FGP showed significantly higher or similar pH at 5.99-6.13 compared to porridge made without adding FGP. The convenient chicken porridge with FGP had lower viscosity and higher spreadability than the control group (p<0.05). This porridge exhibited higher lightness (L) and yellowness (b) values but a lower redness (a) value than the control group (p<0.05). The porridge made with the addition of 0.4% blanched FGP (BG0.4) displayed higher total polyphenol content, 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2-azino-bis-3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS) radical scavenging activities than the other types of chicken porridge (all p<0.05). The porridge with the addition of FGP showed weaker "rice grain size", "glossiness", "appearance cohesiveness", "cooked rice aroma", "sweet taste", "texture cohesiveness", "thickness", and "stickiness" than the control group (all p<0.05). The appearance and flavor acceptance were significantly higher or similar for the porridge samples made with the addition of 0.2% non-blanched FGP (NBG0.2) and 0.4% non-blanched FGP (NBG0.4) when compared with those of the control group.
