  • This paper proposes a new compliant contact control strategy for the robot manipulators accidentally interacting with an unknown environment. The main features of the proposed method are summarized as follows: First, each entry in the diagonal stiffness matrix corresponding to the task coordinate in Cartesian space is adaptively adjusted during con-tact along the corresponding axis based on the contact force with its environment. Second, it can be used for both unconstrained and constrained motions without any switching mechanism which often causes undesirable instability and/or vibrational motion of the end effector. Third, the adjusted stiffness gains are automatically recovered to initially specified stiffness gains when the task is changed from constrained motion to unconstrained motion. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method by employing a two-link direct drive manipulator interacting with an unknown environment.

  • The purpose of this study was to ascertain if psychological home environment and parental verbal control type had gender-specific affects on a child's self-resilience. Questionnaires were used to collect information on 356 children who attend elementary school. The major findings were as follows : (1) Positive correlations were established among psychological home environment and parental verbal control type;(2)Fathers' verbal control type was significantly positively related to a child's gender;(3) Father's verbal control type affected self-resilience of boys, while mother's verbal control type affected self-resilience of girls.

  • Visual Environment and productivity are correlated. So we need to create a comfortable visual environment and maintain proper workplane illumination level. We can obtain lighting energy savings and comfortable visual environment using daylight and LED lights. In this study, we characterized the indoor illuminance level according to the sky condition and proposed dimming control strategy of LED lights. Energy savings in On/Off control mode are 40% at clear sky and 28% at intermediate sky. In dimming control mode, energy savings are 77.2% at clear sky and 64.1% at intermediate sky. Then we obtain the appropriate dimming control strategy of LED lights based on data. Dimming rates are 0-14.2-80(min-avg-max, %) for LED 1, 0-19.9-60% for LED 2 and 30-61.4-90% for LED 3. Lighting energy savings are 68.2% for LED dimming system applied this control method.

  • In this paper, we study to two research direction about information security in ubiquitous computing environment. First, researches on context-aware access control using user's context or environment conditions based on role-based control. Second, researches on model for access control about context information in ubiquitous computing utilizing role base access control model. Two research directions are the one of the most important point technology in that embody ubiquitous environment in the actual world.

  • We introduce Adaptive Fuzzy Impedance Controller for position and force control when robot contact with environment. Because Robot and environment was always effected by nonlinear conditions, it need to deal with parameter’s uncertainty. For solving this problem, it induced Fuzzy System in Impedance Control so fuzzy system is impedance’s stiffness gain. We apply adaptive fuzzy impedance controller in One-Link Robot System, it shows the good performance on desired position control and force control about contacting with arbitrarily environment.

  • As one of the developing countries in the world trade market, we have to apply the environmental concept at the development of a product for environmentally conscious manufacturing system(ECMS). Traditionally, production control model has been studied based on a new product manufacturing environment. However, ECMS such as a remanufacturing system should be developed and implemented for highly competitive environment in 21C. The objective of this study was to extend the research of production control model by applying it at the remanufacturing environment of ECMS and to test the applicability of current production control model at the remanufacturing environment by the simulation experimental study.

  • This paper describes an access control which is running on SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) environment for computer supported cooperated works. Session management include function of session creation, session end, late comer process, and access control. But, conventional framework for access control SIP environment for computer supported cooperated works environment has not yet fully progressed. Therefore, this paper suggests an access control based on SIP environment for computer supported cooperated works environment to maintain good session condition.
