The Statistical Analysis of Raw Silk Quality Control in Korea (우리나라 생사품질관리의 통계적분석)

  • This report was aimed to examine the status of raw silk quality and to come up with means of the good quality silk production by use of the statistical quality control method. The results obtained are as follow : 1) The raw silk quality of size 20/22 denier was found to be 2A grade during the last five years. 2) In order to level up the silk grade, the better quality control is required especially in the average evenness and cleanness. 3) It was found that winding brakes and elongation of silk threads have been versed gradually through the period. 4) Larger variation was observed in cleanness control chart, but low evenness have stayed with in the desirable control range.

  • This paper describe a control scheme for direct torque control of BLDC Motor. The proposed Luenberger Observer scheme calculate flux errors in order to control the torque and flux more correctly. This proposed control scheme has not the requirement of a separate current regulator and proportional-integral (PI) control of the flux and torque, there by improving transient performance and also has the advantage of less torque ripple in steady state with a fixed switching period. The effect of proposed method has been proven by simulations.

  • This paper presents an improved hys- teresis current control method for three-phase PWM power inverters using 3-level comparator. Hysteresis current controller using 3-level comparator has an advantage of constant switching frequency compared with conventional hysteresis current controller. However, this method has disadvantage that the longer sampling period, the larger current error because the switching is performed without considering current error magnitude of each phase. The proposed method improves the control performance by selecting the optimum switching pattern in which the magnitudes of current errors are considered introducing space vector concept. Simulation results using Matlab/Simulink show that the proposed control method reduces current error keeping the merit of previous hysteresis current control method.

  • In this paper, the diode bridge-type ZVT(Zero-Voltage Transition) inverter is proposed. It consists of one auxiliary switch, three resonant inductors and six blocking diodes. So, the advantage of the proposed topology is the reduction of the auxiliary switch. The topology of the proposed ZVT inverter is analyzed with a description of the control conditions based on the load current. Therefore, this paper two control algorithms were discussed. A variable resonant pattern control algorithm by using load current feedback and a resonant period control algorithm by using resonant inductor current feedback is proposed in order to achieve the ZVT switching condition in full control range and the reducing current spike main switches cause by reverse recovery problem.

  • A real-time control system, composed of the controlled processor and the controller computer(s), may have a variety of task types, some of which have tight timing-constraints in generating the correct control input. The maximum period of those task failures tolerable by the system is called the hard deadline, which depends on not only fault characteristics but also task characteristics. In the paper, we extend a method deriving the hard deadline in LTI system executing single task. An algorithm to combine the deadlines of all the elementary tasks in the same operation-mode is proposed to derive the hard deadline of the entire system. For the end, we modify the state equation for the task to capture the effects of task failures (delays in producing correct values) and inter-correlation. We also classify the type of executing the tasks according to operation modes associated with relative importance of correlated levels among tasks, into series, parallel, and cascade modes. Some examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

  • This paper presents the development of LED street light lamp which is controled by central command system. This system includes a lamp unit controller, data repeater and command repeater as well as the LED lamps. These devices enable the individual power control and partial on/off control of the LED lamps by the control repeater through full duplex communication line. Also, they have the ability to control the brightness and period of on/off timing by detecting the car's existence. As a result of this development, it is founded that the performances of the system have been satisfied to apply for the actual road test.

  • The TBO of main unit of propulsion control devices on high-speed railway vehicles proposed by the makers is appropriated 10 years cycle, but the maintenance of internal device are proceeding before coming to the particular period of time. In the Future, increasing of the failure probability occurred by increasing train service and obtaining spare parts are predicted that it would be difficult. the propulsion control devices develop is needed in other to the ease maintenance, cost savings and ensuring related domestic technologies when considering operating on long term of high-speed railway vehicles. In this paper, we proposed development a way that current-controlled type propulsion control devices using the newest power semiconductors which is easy to supply and demand through identifying performance and characteristics of existing current-controlled type propulsion control devices of high-speed railway vehicles.

  • The conventional sliding mode control(SMC) technique requires a priori knowledge of the upperbounds of disturbances or/and modeling uncertainties to assure robustness. This, however, may not to be easy to obtain in practical situation. This paper presents a new methodology, sliding mode control with disturbance estimator(SMCDE), which offers a robust control performance without a priori knowledge about the disturbance. The proposed technique is featured by an average value of the imposed disturbance over a certain period. A nonlinear spring-mass-damper system is adopted as an illustrative example, and a comparative work between the conventional technique and the present one is undertaken.

  • This paper deals with the tension control of continuous processing line for steel plant. In order to improve the tension control performance, tension control is included in POR. FF compensation is applied to get the same speed characteristics during acceleration and deceleration period. In simulation roll diameter variation and inertia variation are considered. It becomes clear that the proposed tension control system has high accuracy performance.

  • In this paper, an efficient routing algorithm for the heterogeneous home network in which IEEE 802.15.4 compensates for limitations of PLC based home networks. The efficient routing algorithm changes the broadcast period of routing information frame according to the mobility of the node. We implemented the routing algorithm and built a test-bed.
