  • This study was conducted to compare the quality of steamed cakes supplemented with common buckwheat(F. esculentum Miench.) and tartary buckwheat(F. tartaricum Gaetn). A proximate analysis, and rutin content, color value, texture characteristics and sensory evaluations were performed, In the proximate analysis, the steamed buckwheat as opposed to raw buckwheat, appeared to afford higher values for most of the evaluated items. The rutin content of the tartary buckwheat was over 14 times higher than that of common buckwheat and remained about 58% higher after steaming. The lightness of the steamed cakes was in the following order: control(wheat flour only), with the addition of common buckwheat, and with the addition of tartary buckwheat. The redness and yellowness increased in the following order: tartary buckwheat, common buckwheat, control steamed cake. There were no significant differences in the springiness of steamed cake between the various samples including the control: therefore, resulted in good quality during bread-making. In the sensory evaluation, on increasing the amount of tartary buckwheat addition the score for entire taste increased compared with common buckwheat and the control and also had positive results for all other items, including flavor, color, softness and moistness. • The smart factory has spread to small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) under the leadership of the government. Smart factory consists of a work area, an operation management area, and an industrial control system (ICS) area. However, each site is combined with the IT system for reasons such as the convenience of work. As a result, various breaches could occur due to the weakness of the IT system. This study seeks to discover the items and vulnerabilities that SMEs who have difficulties in information security due to technology limitations, human resources, and budget should first diagnose and check. First, to compare the existing domestic and foreign smart factory vulnerability classification systems and improve the current classification system, the latest smart factory vulnerability information is collected from NVD, CISA, and OWASP. Then, significant keywords are extracted from pre-processing, co-occurrence network analysis is performed, and the relationship between each keyword and vulnerability is discovered. Finally, the improvement points of the classification system are derived by mapping it to the existing classification system. Therefore, configuration and maintenance, communication and network, and software development were the items to be diagnosed and checked first, and vulnerabilities were denial of service (DoS), lack of integrity checking for communications, inadequate authentication, privileges, and access control in software in descending order of importance.

  • High-rise buildings are widely being constructed in the Middle-East, South-East, and East Asia. These buildings are usually willing to stand for the landmark of the region and, therefore, exhibit some extraordinary features such as super-tall height, elevation set-backs, overhangs, or free-form exterior surface, all of which makes the construction difficult, complex, and even unsafe at some construction stages. In addition to the elaborately planned construction sequence, prediction and monitoring of building's movement during construction and after completion are required for precise and safe construction. This is often called the Building Movement Control during construction. This study describes Building Movement Control of the KLCC Tower, a 58-story office building currently being built right next to the famous PETRONAS Twin Towers. The main items of the Building Movement Control for the KLCC Tower are axial shortening and verticality. Preliminary prediction of these items are already carried out by the structural design team but more accurate prediction based on construction stage analysis and combined with time-dependent material testing, field monitoring, and site survey is done by the main contractor. As of September 2010, the Tower is under construction at level 30, where the plan abruptly changes from rectangle to triangle. Findings and troubleshooting until the current construction stage are explained in detail and implementations are suggested for future applications.

  • This study examined the change in the students' perception of infection after school education. A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 300 dental hygiene students in Kangwon from December 3 to December 4, 2016. The contents of the questionnaire included the general characteristics (5 items), infection-related selection (2 items), infection control recognition (5 items), and infection control behavior (10 items). The data were analyzed by frequency analysis, t-test, one way ANOVA, Chi-square test, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0. The Cronbach's Alpha was 0.941 and 0.658, respectively. The school year and hospital practice experience had some influence on the change in infection recognition. A total of 127 students (62.6%) who had experience in practicing in hospitals knew more about antibodies. Hand washing was the highest in personal protection, followed by masks. The selection of the infectious control education method showed that the practical training class was high irrespective of the hospital practice experience, and the perceptions of patient-related infections were the greatest explanatory factor in perception after education.
