The EMG signal can be considered as a signal source that expresses the intention of man because it is a electrical signal generated when the man contracts muscles. For proportional control of prostheses, the control signal proportional to the mousle contraction level must be estimated. Typically a foul-wave rectifier and low-pass filter are used to estimate the proportional control signal from the EMG signal. In this paper, it is proposed to use a logarithmic transformation and a linear minimum mean square error estimator. A logarithmic transformation maps the myoelectric signal into an additive control signal-plus-noise domain and the Kalman filter is used to estimate the control signal as a linear minimum mean square error estimator. The performance of this estimator is verified by the computer simulation and the estimator is applied to the EMG obtained from the biceps brachii muscle of normal subjects.

Bellows is an important component in Joule-Thomson cryocooler, which minimize the excessive flow of the cryogenic gas. The bellows is made of Monel 400 and its geometry is an axial symmetric shell. During cool-down process, the pressure and volume within bellows must be satisfied with Benedict-Webb-Rubin state equation. Moreover, Poisson's ratio of Monel 400 is nearly constants, but its Young's modulus varies for a drop in temperature. Under these conditions, bellows contracts in the axial direction like a spring. To evaluate deformation of bellows at cryogenic temperature, the numerical calculation of the volume within bellows and finite element analysis are iteratively used in this research. the numerical results show that deformation of the bellows is approximately linear for change of temperature.

In cost-only incentive contract the emphasis is the attainment of efficient and effective cost control. In contrast multiple incentives contract correlates contractor's profit motives with the generalized government objective function, the decision variables of which are performance or quality (technical progress), time or schedule (timely development and delivery) and the cost (efficient and effective cost control) Under multiple incentive structure, it is essential to formulate the trade-off curves between cost and performance, which are called iso-fee curves. Trade-off curves depict the combination of cost and performance achievement for which the contractor will be rewarded with the same fee. The basic function of trade-off curves is to show he the contractor will be motivated by incentive arragement to trade off or sacrifice the achievement in one incentive element for the acnievment in another.

The purpose of this research is to explore the necessity of utilizing IPD methods along BIM based project operation in domestic construction market. IPD is relatively new project delivery methods focused on the collaboration of stockholders based on BIM technology. IPD is focused on the multiparty contract process rather than multiple bilateral contracts under Traditional Project Delivery Methods. The research method is to investigate the IPD standard contract documents, successful IPD project cases in the U.S. The research results are as follows. The model for an IPD standard contract needs to be developed for the application to a real construction projects. Various types of IPD model contract need to be developed to accommodate the requirements of industry and stockholders in Korea.

We study whether a default option attached to non-recourse mortgages improves borrowers' surplus from mortgage financing. By defaulting on mortgage debt, borrowers can save their non-collateralized income from being foreclosed. In exchange, borrowers must forgo non-monetary surplus from retaining any collateral. Banks may charge a high mortgage rate due to increased default rates. We find that the interest rate of non-recourse mortgage decreases with the borrower's surplus from home ownership. Moreover, non-recourse mortgages benefit only borrowers who deem housing property as an investment asset. Hence, the transition to a non-recourse mortgage is detrimental to welfare if the borrower enjoys a large surplus from home ownership. Although the borrower privately knows how much surplus she enjoys from home ownership, a menu of non-recourse mortgage contracts may exist, yielding a separating equilibrium without information rent.

Although all costs concerned in transportation be separated by region and each terms and conditions of Incoterms that state cleary them who have to pay the charges. But, almost lcl exporters donot want to pay their charges the carriers at loading port eventhough they make the contracts with the importer as FOB and CFR of Incoterms. And the carrier have been do not bill the FOB charges to the shipper. Now, there are no more Incoterms in LCL transportation. So, the importer have been payed loading port charges twice, first, the contract with the shipper, secondly, through the destination charge. These problems make decreasing of trading volume and increasing of logistics costs. We suggest every traders and carriers separate the costs as per the price terms and conditions of incoterms and bill/receive the costs separated the trader who have to pay the charges as per their price terms. It will bring mutual success in the world and increasing trade.

E-business including e-commerce boosts the competitiveness of corporations remarkably through the creation of new value added, positioning itself as the key to national competitive edge. Thus, advanced nations and international organizations such as WTO and OECD are structuring a positive support system for e-transformation. Korea also has been pushing for activating e-business at the government level since 2000. ECRC(Electronic Commerce Resource Centers) project is an efficient government initiative and inter-agency coordination in implementing e-Business policy for industry. This project has been sponsored by the MOCIE and operated through prime contracts with KIEC. ECRCs provide such services as educational training, technology transfer, consulting and information service related to e-Business for industry. They had given the digital opportunity demanded by industry from 1997 but in these days there are many other new e-business activating projects in Korea. This paper sought to study a strategic reform plan of ECRC.

In this study, we analysed the current situation of Internet-based insurance services which can provide a non-traditional and cost effective communication channel between the customers and insurance companies. The service of Internet-based cyber-insurance extends from mere advertisement to on-line contracts through planning simulations and, furthermore, to customer monitoring. This cyber-insurance is the demand of the times and is not to be overlooked-by the Korean insurance companies which are suffering from accumulated loss and are facing severe economic depression. We performed a comparative analysis between the domestic cyber-insurance service and pioneers'. Also, we suggested future possibilities of cyber-insurance services, presenting an architecture for the construction of a cyber-insurance management module within the meta financial investment system.

As we know, D-terms which are constituted with DAF delivered the goods in a border place, DES delivered the goods on board a vessel at a vessel specified port on the buyer's side, DEQ delivered the goods on the quay on the buyer's side as the specified place, DDU and DDP delivered the good at the stipulated place at the agreed place or point, mean arrival contracts. DAF is designed mainly for railway carriage, DES and DEQ are designed mainly for vessel shipment, DDU and DDP are designed mainly for multimodal transportation. In spite of their original purpose of revision. They have in themselves many problems on notable points on application in practice. Therefore, in order to magnify their use, through revision of Incoterms, DAF is restricted to railway carriage, DES and DEQ are restricted to be used only for charter shipments. Particularly transport documents which seller should supply the buyer with under DDU and DDP are documents for ownership and possession rights to the goods loaded when executed in negotiable form like as CIF.
