  • Purpose Since the Bitcoin, which was the first virtual currency, was made at 2009, almost 1,000 virtual currencies appeared onstage in the world. Even though virtual currencies have the function of money as a medium of exchange or contract, any of those has not yet entered the commercialization stage. Instead, some of the virtual currencies show the nature of investment assets. In the case of virtual money investment, users tend to use all the information of the world because information transfer is very easy and capital movement is almost free between different countries. In addition, as the transaction sizes of virtual currencies increase, a virtual currency price is no longer independent and is likely to be affected by the prices of other virtual currencies. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the influence among virtual currency markets, which helps successful implementation of investment strategies. Design/methodology/approach This study focuses on the investment product function of virtual money and conducts the analysis using the time series model used in the financial and economic areas. In this paper, we try to analyze the return and volatility transfer effect of virtual money markets through GJR-GARCH model. Findings This study is expected to find out whether we can make market forecasts through reflecting changes in other markets. In addition, we can reduce the trial and error of user decision making by using the information on the yield and volatility transition effect derived from the research results, and it is expected to reduce the opportunity cost of users.

  • Occupational Safety and Health Expenses Law in construction industry was enacted in 1988 by the notification of Ministry of Employment and Labor and 22 revisions have been made since. The fact that revisions have been made almost every year since the first enactment shows that Occupational Safety and Health Expenses can effectively prevent construction accidents and the need for revisions to fit the reality has been raised continuously. Despite the construction industry has undergone various internal and external environmental changes, (such as the changes in the safety and health management techniques and the increase in the construction employees' desire for safety) the appropriation standard of Occupational Safety and Health Expenses has been calculated based on the contract price. The construction industry has constantly suggested that the Occupational Safety and Health Expenses be calculated based on the estimated construction expenses since applying the current method doesn't provide enough money to secure the safety. Also because it has become mandatory to hire a health manager since 2015, the lack of Occupational Safety and Health Expenses is expected to get worse. In this study, we will analyze the usage of Occupational Safety and Health Expenses and propose a more practical and realistic change in setting the appropriation standard of Occupational Safety and Health Expenses.

However, it is considered to be the initial stage of the system that pursues autonomy rather than efficiency, and it is necessary to monitor and inspect the distributed ledger technology from the price and introduction time as compared with the existing relational DB transaction technology. However, domestic and foreign private sectors have already been activated by applying block-chain technology in the national domain, and the block chain is devoid of doubt that it is an exaggerated technology, characterized by the invariance of the record, transparency, and autonomous execution of business rules. • Despite continuous efforts by the construction industry to achieve better quality, it doesn't seem that much has been improved. This is mainly because current specifications do not satisfy a change in the market environment, which is that a higher level of quality is now demanded by users. Quality improvement efforts have been satisfied merely to meet specifications. On the other hand, advanced countries have been experienced great success in their construction techniques and have reduced costs by introducing apay adjustment system to the construction industry, in which compensation is based on performance. Following their example, Koreashould introduce such a pay adjustment system in order to motivate the members of our construction industry to achieve better quality and a higher level of construction techniques. However, there has been a lack of a rational approach to the development of a system for cost coordination, as well as performance and quality inspection. Thus, in this study a legal and logical plan was developed that can be used to adjust the construction cost, along with the performance inspection of quality results, in order to introduce a pay adjustment system that is appropriate for domestic regulations.

  • The construction of the first nuclear power plant (Kori #1) in Korea started in 1971, Korea operates 24 nuclear power plants and is constructing 4 in 2015. During about 45 years of construction experience, insufficient studies have been investigated for the identification of critical success factors(CSFs) for nuclear power plant construction. Based on literature reviews and focus group interviews, this study presented a list of CSFs for construction of nuclear power plants. A survey for validating the results of CSFs was conducted with 164 experts. This study indicates that attentions should be placed upon the lowest price-based contract awarding policy, the need for reasonable pricing standard implementation, database development, and deployment for experienced nuclear power plant construction workers, identification and nurturing of competitive subcontractors, and minimization of lag times in construction activities.
