The paper is devoted to study local convergence of a continuation method under the assumption of majorant conditions. The method is used to approximate a zero of an operator in Banach space and is of third order. It is seen that the famous Kantorovich-type and Smale-type conditions are special cases of our majorant conditions. This infers that our result is a generalized one in comparison to results based on Kantorovich-type and Smale-type conditions. Finally a number of numerical examples have been computed to show applicability of the convergence analysis.

In this paper an important stability property of the extremes under power normalizations is discussed. It is proved that the restricted convergence of the Power normalized extremes on an arbitrary nondegenerate interval implies the weak convergence. Moreover, this implication, in an important practical situation, is obtained when the sample size is considered as a random variable distributed geometrically with mean n.

연구 목적은 경호학과 학생들의 물리보안 관련 교육서비스품질이 대학생활만족과 학업지속결정에 어느 정도영향을 미치고 있는지 검증하는데 있다. 이를 위해 대학에서 물리보안 교육을 받고 있는 200여 대학생들을 대상으로 2023년 4월 10부터 28일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문내용에서 변수를 "첫째 교육서비스품질, 둘째 대학생활만족, 셋째 학업지속결정"로 나누어 구성하였으며 이를 토대로 3개의 연구가설을 선정하였다. 분석결과, 연구모형을 살펴보기 위해 회귀분석을 산출하고 그 결과 3개의 연구가설 중에서 "교육서비스품질 ⇨ 대학생활만족, 대학생활만족 ⇨ 학업지속결정"은 통계적으로 유의하게 산출되어 채택되었으나, "교육서비스품질 ⇨ 학업지속결정"은 유의하지 않는 것으로 나타나 기각되었다. 학생들을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사 결과 학생들이 학업지속의향을 높이기 위해서는 대학생활만족이 우선되어야 한다.

본 연구는 배드민턴 동호인의 참여행동과 운동행동, 종목이미지 및 운동지속의 구조적 관계를 검증하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 그 결과, 첫째, 종목이미지에 영향을 미친 변인은 참여행동의 하위요인 중 재미였으며, 운동행동의 하위요인 중 자존감과 스트레스해소였다. 둘째, 종목이미지는 운동지속에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 마지막으로, 참여와 운동행동은 종목 이미지를 매개로 하여 운동지속에 간접적 영향을 보이고 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 종목이미지가 참여행동, 운동행동 및 운동지속의 관계에서 매개변인으로 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 검증하였으며, 종목이미지의 역할에 대한 기초자료를 제공한데 그 의의가 있다.

Generalized order statistics (gos) introduced by Kamps [8] as a unified approach to several models of order random variables (rv's), e.g., (ordinary) order statistics (oos), records, sequential order statistics (sos). In a wide subclass of gos, included oos and sos, the possible limit distribution functions (df's) of the maximum gos are obtained in Nasri-Roudsari [10]. In this paper, for this subclass, as the df of the suitably normalized extreme gos converges on an interval [c, d] to one of possible limit df's of the extreme gos, the continuation of this (weak) convergence on the whole real line to this limit df is proved.

Continuation power flow has been developed to remove the ill-condition problem caused by singularity of power flow Jacobian at and near at steady-state voltage instability point in conventional power flow. Continuation power flow consists of predictor and corrector. In prddictor, the direction vector at the resent solution is caluculated and the initial guess of next solution is determined at the distance of step length. The selection of step length is a very important part, since computational speed and convergence performance are both greatly affected by the choice of the step length. This paper presents the practical step length selection algorithm using the reactive power generation sensitivith. In numulation, the proposed algorithm is compared with step length selection algorithm using TVI(tangent vector index).

본 연구는 교양체육수업의 재미요인, 수업만족과 운동지속행동의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기도에 속한 4개 대학 학생을 대상으로 300부의 설문지를 회수하여 연구 자료로 사용이 가능한 275부를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석을 위해 통계프로그램은 PASW 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 각 요인에 대한 기술통계를 제시하였으며 요인추출 및 문항 내적 일관성 확인을 위해 탐색적 요인분석중 주성분분석과 베리맥스 회전 방식을 선택하였다. 신뢰도 분석에는 크론바 알파를 통해 신뢰도를 확인하였다. 교양체육수업의 재미요인, 수업만족과 운동지속행동 요인에 대해서는 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 관계를 규명하고자 하였으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 교양체육수업의 재미요인 중 교수행동, 체육성적, 체육환경, 운동능력, 운동지속행동에 유의한 영향력을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교양체육수업의 수업만족 중 운동지속행동에 영향을 주는 것은 교수행동, 체육성적 요인이 유의한 영향력을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

We provide local and semilocal theorems for the convergence of Newton-like methods to a locally unique solution of an equation in a Banach space. The analytic property of the operator involved replaces the usual domain condition for Newton-like methods. In the case of the local results we show that the radius of convergence can be enlarged. A numerical example is given to justify our claim . This observation is important and finds applications in steplength selection in predictor-corrector continuation procedures.

We present local and semilocal convergence results for New-ton's method in a Banach space setting. In particular using Lipschitz-type assumptions on the second Frechet-derivative we find results con-cerning the radius of convergence of Newton's method. Such results are useful in the context of predictor-corrector continuation procedures. Finally we provide numerical examples to show that our results can ap-ply where earlier ones using Lipschitz assumption on the first Frechet-derivative fail.

집권 3년차의 김정은 시대 북한의 지속과 변화 분석은 나름대로 의미를 부여할 수 있을 것이다. 분석한 결과 보다 합리적이고 통계적인 방법을 적용하기 위하여 김일성, 김정일, 김정은 시대의 신년사를 활용하였다. 북한에 있어서 신년사만큼 영향력 있는 사항은 드물며 북한사회의 제 분야에 있어서 한해의 길라잡이 역할을 수행하고 있다. 현재까지 발표된 김일성, 김정일, 김정은 시대 신년사를 종합적으로 고찰하여 정리하였다. 종합된 신년사를 김일성, 김정일, 김정은 시대로 구분하여 발표방법, 내용구성, 기타사항을 등을 비교 분석하였으며, 이어서 북한 정권별 신년사 특징과 함의를 살펴보았다. 이와 같은 분석 결과를 바탕으로 김정은 시대의 지속과 변화를 전망해 보았다. 먼저 지속적인 사항으로 제시한 사항은 사회주의 체제 고수와 선군정치의 통치방식이다. 변화사항으로는 (1) 경제난 타개를 위한 부분적인 개방문제, (2) 북한의 핵문제, (3) 자본주의 성격의 유입과 사회주의 통제력 약화, (4) 김정은의 해외 유학경험 등을 4가지 사항을 변화요인으로 제시하였다. 이러한 김정은 시대의 북한 사회의 변화와 지속요인은 복합적으로 작동될 것이다. 김정은 시대의 북한의 지속과 변화문제는 남북문제를 해결해 나가는데 핵심 사항들이다. 전 국민적 공감대를 형성하면서 국론결집 노력 강화와 변화 상황에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 대북정책의 유연성을 확보하는 자세가 필요한 시점이다.
