This study attempts to explore the educational applicability of webtoons. Webtoons have very useful educational elements in educational environments. First, they are extremely popular among learners of the internet age and not only do webtoon images provide immersiveness and enjoyment to learners in class environments based on text but the narrativity and contextuality of webtoons can also provide abundant material in connection with the subject. Also, the interactivity of the Web 2.0, a space where webtoons are circulated, can also be utilized in educational environments. This study attempts to explore grounds for detailed approaches for the educational applicability of webtoons using theoretical and practical methods. It is hoped that through this study, assessments can be made of positive prospects regarding the educational applicability of webtoons.

As standardized test and current perfomance assessment have some problems in the aspects of contextuality, authenticity and intelligence faimess, the aim of this study is to propose an 'intelligence-fair and authentic assessment(IFAA)as an appropriate altemative and to make sure of the probability of its application. In geographical education, an idealistic assessment can be realized when the tasks bear authenticity, multiple intelligence of students are accepted and the objective are confirming with general purpose. IFAA model consists of 5 elements. They are the selecting for strategic ideas, the developing a real-life task, the constructive instructing with teacher, the offering opportunity of multiple representation and the allotting of marks for each items, IFAA model proposed in this study is worth considering in educational validity and realistic adaptability.

This research focuses on the life history of university professor and the meaning of their lives to provide career information to parents and teachers conducting childhood career education. professor K with 25 years of professorship was targeted for insides's view(emic), which describes the life story through the professor's voice and words, was used as the method of research and additional data was collected through in-depth interviews with professor K, his writings, e-mails and in-depth interviews. The collected data was electronically transferred and categorized for field and categorical analysis. The analysis showed that the motive for professor K to enter academic society was due to his utmost efforts, assistance of family, and his friend encountering. Also after entering the university, he served as key role in research, education and as an appointed professor. After retirement, he is contributing to the society as a expert and practitioner. As such, 'continuous effort and consistent personal innovation', 'strong belief and clear calling', 'warm humanity and practical life', and 'flexible attitude and educational passion' were deducted from professor K 's professional capability.

The purpose of this study is to verify the relationship between psychological capital and job performance of social workers at welfare centers for the disabled. For that purpose, a self-reported questionnaire survey was conducted on 900 social workers at welfare center for the disabled nationwide, and a total of 864 copies of data were used for the final analysis. As a result of the main analysis, first, there was a positive(+) correlation between self-efficacy, hope, optimism, resilience which are the sub-elements of psychological capital, and contextuality and task performance, which are the sub-elements of job performance. Second, among the sub-elements of psychological capital, self-efficacy and hope showed statistically significant positive(+) effects on task performance. Third, it was found that optimism as well as self-efficacy and hope had a statistically significant positive(+) effect on contextual performance. Based on those findings, this study suggested practical and policy alternatives to improve the job performance of social workers at welfare centers for the disabled.

Healthcare service helps users' health management by collecting an individual user's activity and biometric data from mobile devices and by providing them to the user. As a result, it has become necessary to perform a research on how to show the collected data. According to information visualization, the same data can have various interpretations depending on how they are represented. Healthcare data must be elivered to information acceptors without errors or distortion as they are directly related to people's health. With the expansion of healthcare service by the development of technology, this study could measure various data from users and was started to provide a necessary guideline for the visualization of measured numerical data. To propose a specific visualization by applying the visualization direction, 5 types of data including present value, measured value, relative value, relation data, and prediction value were set as the values necessary for the continuous use of mobile healthcare. Visualization was proposed concretely by applying clarity, variable comparison, brevity, relation, reliability, independence, and contextuality, which are the criteria for vitalizing the healthcare service.

A Korean MP3player also has become complex multimedia device which can provide various functions such as DMB, image playback, radio, electronic dictionary, storage device, and Internet. However, these functions are not provided through one-time mediation. Therefore, studying which changes were made for obtaining or installing these functions and what made such changes possible will be a basis to approach the change factors of medium through medium. Ultimately, by enabling to access the factors of cultural and social changes through MP3player, the main point of this study, it will be a methodological attempt to study a social aspect through medium. This study approached re-mediation according to the genealogical change of MP3player. This study researched the change of media through mediation of MP3player, and approached the change in social contextuality through this. The factors for which a medium is changed are various, but in the change of MP3 player there is re-mediation of each medium in addition to technical change. That is, it is deemed that there are 're-mediation among devices' and 'socially contextual re-mediation' in the change through re-mediation of MP3player.

This study aims to clarify the nature and properties of multimedia interface design, and to identify direction of multimedia interface design research. It also focuses on forecasting boundaries and major trends in current researches on multimedia interface design. The two jargons, 'interface' and 'interaction', are distinguished clearly to show the definition and boundary of multimedia interface. The multidisciplinary nature of multimedia interface design is identified as a result of examination and analysis on major researches. Nine research cases have been selected and categorized into two directions as the theoretical approach and the technical approach. Major characteristics of each case are examined in terms of subjects and methodologies. Findings on current states of the multimedia interface design research are: $\circled1$increasing importance of contextuality; $\circled2$emerging tendency for perceiving the content as one of interacting subjects; $\circled3$providing idiomatic interface context; and $\circled4$paying much attention to the meaning of minor actions. Those findings can be possible as a result of expansion of boundary of multimedia content with rapid distribution of multimedia in recent years. The study concludes that further researches can be activated on the basis of the concept of content-based multimedia interface.

The purpose of this study is to develop community design evaluation factors for sustainable urban regeneration and to suggest considerations for sustainable community design by analyzing excellent community design cases. Through literature review, previous studies on the concept and core items of sustainable urban regeneration, and the concept and components of community design were considered. In addition, evaluation indicators for sustainable community design were developed in the socio-economic, physical, environmental, historical and cultural dimensions through the analysis of the linkage with the evaluation factors of community design through the analysis of previous studies. The evaluation index consists of 3 evaluation items and 9 items including social performance and participation at the social level, economic feasibility at the economic level, environmental characteristics at the physical and environmental level, accessibility, contextuality, locality at the historical and cultural level, identity, and artistry. Includes dog evaluation factors. Reliability and effectiveness are secured through the developed evaluation index and detailed description and expert verification. Exploratory factor analysis and expert interviews were conducted through the survey, and as a result of the analysis, the stability and Cronbach'α coefficients were verified, and the validity of the community design evaluation index considering sustainable urban regeneration was recognized through expert interview. The results of this study are considered meaningful in that they can provide basic data for the improvement of community design for sustainable urban regeneration in the future.
