The field observations on a seasonal characteristic of organic matter and its origin in the surface sediment were carried out at 35 stations in Deukryang bay, southern coast of Korean Peninsula from May 1995 to February 1996. The analytical parameters were mud temperature, ignition loss(IL), chemical oxygen demand(COD), pheopigment, sulfide and water content. The origin and seasonal dynamics of organic matter in Deukryang Bay were analyzed by COD/IL, COD/sulfide ratio and principal component analysis(PCA). As a results of the mud temperature fluctuated between 2.1$^{\circ}C$ with the lowest mean 4.6$^{\circ}C$ in winter and 27.6$^{\circ}C$ with the highest mean 25.5$^{\circ}C$ in summer. The range of ignition loss(IL) was from 3.1% in autumn to 21.5% in winter. Chemical oxygen demand(COD) showed the highest mean value of 8.45 mg/g dry in spring within the range of 2.90∼18.21 mg/g dry, while it showed the lowest value of 4.33 mg/g dry in autumn within the range of 0.67∼10.37 mg/g dry. Pheopigments showed the highest mean value of 9.04 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g dry in autumn within the range of 1.36∼20.44 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g dry, while it did the lowest mean value of 2.20 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g dry in summer within the range of 0.33∼11.36 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g dry. The range of total sulfide (H$_2$S) was from no detect(ND) to 3.30 mg/g dry in spring. And water content showed the annual mean value of 43.6% within the range of 23.6∼54.9%. The source of organic matter by COD/IL and COD/sulfide ratio in Deukryang Bay had been producted by primary producer in sea water areas except the areas effected by small stream, domestic and animal wastes. And the analytical results of PCA was able to be divided into three different regions. The former was characterized by the shallow depth and authigenic organic matter from phytoplankton in northwest area and northeastern inner bay, the secondary was done by deeper depth and allochthonous one from lands in southeast area and eastern entrance of bay, and the latter was done by authigenic one from the farm of seaweeds such as, sea cabbage, sea mustard etc in western entrance of bay. But a study on the relationship between sulfide and COD concentration in the northeastern inner bay which was characterized by the water stagnation will to take much more studying including major constituents of organic matter in the future.
A potential fungal lipid producer from starch, which was identified as Muror plumbeus, was isolated from natural sources and its optimum cultivation condition for lipid production was investigated. The Mucor plumbeus FRI 0007 showed the highest felt weight and lipid content which were 2.09 $\pm$ 0.24g per 50$m\ell$ of medium and 37.43% on dry weight basis respectively after 20 days incubation on the medium containing 21% of starch as a carbon source. The urea was the best nitrogen source as compared with sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate, magnesium nitrate, ammonium nitrate and ammonium acetate and its optimum concentration was 2.14g/$\ell$, showing 2.39 $\pm$ 0.07 g felt/50$m\ell$ of medium and 50.73% lipid content on dry weight basis after 25 days incubation. Besides the starch as a carbon source and urea as a nitrogen source, the Mucor plumbeus FRI 0007 utilized ZnSO$_4$, MgSO$_4$, NaH$_2$PO$_4$, $K_2$SO$_4$and FeCl$_3$as mineral sources. However, it did not require ail the above 5 minerals in group in-dispensably for its growth and lipid accumulation. The lipid and economic coefficient of Mucor plumbeus FRI 0007 grown on the medium containing 0.44g $K_2$SO$_4$or 5.00g MgSO$_4$/$\ell$solely were 14.96 and 15.37 and 31.12 and 26.10 which was higher than those on the medium containing the above 5 minerals.
A psychrotrophic bacterial strain, Pseudomonas fluorescens BM07, synthesized unsaturated fatty acids (UFA) from fructose in response to lowering of growth temperature, and incorporated them into both polyhydroxyalkanoic acid (PHA) and membrane lipid. The blocking of PHA synthesis by adding 5 mM 2-bromooctanoic acid to the growth medium, containing 70 mM fructose, was found to be a useful means to profile the composition of membrane lipid by gas chromatography. As the growth temperature changed from 35 to $50^{\circ}C$, the total content of two UFA, 3-hydroxy-cis-5dodecenoic acid ($C_{12:1}$) and 3-hydroxy-cis-7-tetradecenoic acid ($C_{14:1}$), in PHA increased from 31 to 44 $mol\%$. The growth at lower temperatures also led to an increase in the level of two major UFA, palmitoleic acid (C16:1 cis9) and cis-vaccenic acid (C18:1 cis11), in membrane lipid. A fraction of these membrane-lipid UFA was converted to their corresponding cyclopropane fatty acids (CFA). The CFA conversion was a function of culture time, exhibiting biphasic increase before and after entering the stationary phase. However, pH changes in growth media had no effect on the CFA conversion, which is contrary to the case of E. coli reported. The cells grown at $30^{\circ}C$ responded to a cold shock (lowering the medium temperature down to $10^{\circ}C$) by increasing the level of C16:1 cis9 and C 18: I cis II up to that of $10^{\circ}C$-grown control cells and concomitantly decreasing the relative level of cis-9,10methylenehexadecanoic acid (the CFA converted from C16:1 cis9) from 14 to 8 $mol\%$, whereas the 10-grown cells exhibited little change in the lipid composition when exposed to a warmer environment of $30^{\circ}C$ for 12 h. Based on this one- way response, we suggest that this psychrotrophic strain responds more efficiently and sensitively to a cold shock than to a hot shock. It is also suggested that BM07 strain is a good producer of two unsaturated 3-hydroxyacids, $C_{12:1}\;and\;C_{141:1}$.

Megaspahera elsdenii YJ-4, which was previously isolated as a producer of trans-10, cis-12 CLA, was studied for its carbon source on the CLA production. M. elsdenii YJ-4, was incubated with glucose and lactose, and cultured in batch and continuous culture systems with linoleic acid at various pHs to investigate CLA production. Batch cultures of the ruminal bacterium, M. elsdenii YJ-4, were resistant to stearic acid and linoleic acid, and little growth inhibition was observed even when the fatty acid concentration in the culture was as much as 4 mg $ml^{-1}$. Stationary phase batch cultures (0.25 mg bacterial protein $ml^{-1}$) that had been grown on lactate and incubated with linoleic acid (0.20 mg $ml^{-1}$) produced approximately 12 ${\mu}g$ trans-10, cis-12 CLA mg $protein^{-1}$ and little cis-9, trans-11 CLA was detected. Some linoleic acid was converted to hydrogenated products (chiefly stearic acid), but these fatty acids were less than 5 ${\mu}g$ mg bacterial $protein^{-1}$. Stationary phase batch cultures that had been grown on glucose produced at least 3-fold less trans-10, cis-12 CLA than ones grown on lactate. Cells from lactate-limited continuous cultures produced less trans-10, cis-12 CLA than those from batch culture, but only if the pH was greater than 6.4. When the pH of the lactate-limited continuous cultures was lower than 6.4, trans-10, cis-12 CLA and hydrogenated products declined. Cells from glucose-limited continuous cultures produced less trans-10, cis-12 CLA and hydrogenated products than the cells that had been limited by lactate, but pH had little impact on this production. These results support the idea that M. elsdenii YJ-4 could be one of the major producers of trans-10, cis-12 CLA which causes cows to produce milk with a low fat content.
Bacterial mutagenicity of shellfish or canned products of red-muscle fish affected by hot-airdry processings and/or during storages was investigated by Ames preincubation method. Mussel (Mytilus edulis) and surf clam (Tapes japonica) dried under either 40$\circ$C, 50$\circ$C or 60$\circ$C until remained about 25 % water content was stored at 4$\circ$C or 25$\circ$C for 6 months. Commercially available canned product of pacific saury (Cololabis saira) and mackerel saury (Scotnberjaponicus), whose producer or date of manufacture was identical each other, was stored at 25$\circ$C for 6 months. Mutagenic substances from sample (25 g dry weight) were extracted and purified for mutagenicity assay against S. typhitnurium TA98 by the simultaneous distillation extraction (SDE) method (Lee et al. 1955). Mutagenicity of sample was expressed number of revertant per 25 g dry sample. Number of revertant from unheated mussel sample was appeared to be 135, relative to 22 from unheated surf clam sample. Mutagenicity of both shellfish was strongly affected by heat treatment, but a lesser extent by storage conditions, even at 25$\circ$C for 6 months. Revertants of the mussel sample dried at 40$\circ$C, 50$\circ$C, or 60$\circ$C was found to be 227, 779, and 883, respectively. Similar, but lower, mutagenicity was observed from the sample of surf clam dried at 40$\circ$C, 50$\circ$C, or 60$\circ$C than mussel. Mutagenicity of canned pacific saury and mackerel samples was not influenced by storage conditions. Number of revertant from pacific saury was 175 which was relatively higher than 5 from mackerel. Mutagenicity of fresh pacific saury and mackerel samples was significantly higher than that of their counterparts from canned products. These results indicate that mutagenicity of the shellfish was affected by heat treatment (40$\circ$C, 50$\circ$C, or 60$\circ$C) used for drying process, but not much by storage for 6 months at 4$\circ$C or 25$\circ$C and the mutagenicity of canned products of red-muscle fish was not influenced by storage, even at 25$\circ$C for 6 months.
As a variety of HMD(Head Mounted Display) has come out, the production of 3D images onto which VR(Virtual Reality) technologies are grafted has been contributed to activating the production of image contents depending on a tangible or immersing type. VR-based image contents have enlarged their applicability across the entertainment industry from animation and game to realistic images. At the same time, the solution development for producing VR image contents has also gained elasticity. However, among those production solutions which have been used until now, fixed stereo camera based photographing has a limit that the binocular disparity of a user is fixed. This does not only restrict a way of expression a producer intends to direct, but also may cause the effect of 3D or space not to be sensed enough as view condition is not considered enough in a user's side. This study is aimed at resolving with skills applying in the latter part of 3D image production the problem that convergence points may be adjusted with restriction, which tends to happen at the time of the production of VR image contents. The later stage of the 3D imaging work analyzes and applies to game engines the significance of adjusting convergence points through the visualization of binocular disparity so that it is available to implement a function that the points could be controlled at random by a user.

Soil ecological risk assessment requires terrestrial toxicity data based on trophic levels including plants, earthworms, nematodes, and springtails. To expand the trophic levels, it is needed to consider primary producer algae, nearly distributed in terrestrial environment, as representative terrestrial test species. In this study, we collected research cases focused on soil-related test species and exposure media from SCI papers, and analyzed exposure media, test species, test chemicals, and other test methods, for reviewing research trends of soil-related algal toxicity. Up to now, in the soil-related algal toxicity, test species were 8 cases (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, Chlorella vulgaris, Scenedesmus bijugatus, Chlorococcum infusionum, Scenedesmus subspicatus, Nostoc linckia, Synechococcus elongatus, and Chlorococcum sp.) and endpoints were cell count or photosynthetic pigment content. Also, 5 of exposure media were liquid medium, soil extracts, porewater, agar medium, and soil. Most of papers used algae isolated from natural soils or soil extracts. There were only one case for assessing algal toxicity in soil medium. More researches regarding algal toxicity in soil environments need to be conducted consistently.
SNS allowed users to serve not only as the content and message producer but as the consumer, with development into various types of SNS platforms. Instead of a traditional media structure of media-to-many and unspecified users, it also made it possible to achieve one-to-one or one-to-many interactions, regardless of time and space, through SNS platforms. Moreover, according to development of digital communication technology, IT, media contents and communication network have been mutually connected, though they were once separate. The changes in communication environments have caused rapid disorganization and reorganization in popular culture led by specific expert groups. Such trend has a greater influence on marketing strategies of enterprises. In other words, it will lead them to mostly introduce new information technologies, based on consumer market, and to strategically participate in SNS for promotion and marketing for their products and brands. Likewise, SNS has currently appeared as the main media affecting consumers' behaviors. In consideration of the importance of SNS features, which can stimulate responses of other users, analysis of main features affecting SNS user acceptance decision is required, as well as its utilization strategies. Accordingly, this study conducted division of SNS features into openness, quickness, interactiveness and economical efficiency to derive strategies for increasing the usage frequency of SNS and ultimately maximizing the expectation effect, in addition to an empirical analysis of effects of SNS features on usefulness, easiness and pleasure perceived in SNS, and SNS user intention.
The integrated solid waste management for Seoul Metropolitan city can be established on the basis of the following hierarchy of priorities: 1. Efforts for source reduction should be propelled by both government and citizens to achieve the effects of resource conservation. The adequate production and consumption which are environmentally amenable and sustainable can be induced by the reasonable imposition of deposit money for waste treatment to one-time use products. To accomplish source reduction effectively, the induction of legal and institutional regulation of producer and consumer participation is requisite. 2. For resource recovery, wastes generated should be recycled as far as practicable. Community residents are responsible to separate discharge, the authorities concerned have responsibility of separate collection, and recycling industry should be assissted through tax reduction and financing. Resource separation facilities can be constructed at Kimpo Metropolitan landfill site for wastes not separately collected due to some unavoidable circumstances. 3. Garbage should be composted. Garbage is uneconomical for incineration, because it has high moisture content and low calorie, thus there is no reason for the incineration of garbage even though garbage is classified into combustibles. Composting facilities can be located at sites which are not densely populated and easily accessible to transportation, for example, Kimpo Metropolitan landfill site. Compost produced can be managed by the authorities for the use of fertilizer to a green tract of suburban land and farms. 4. Nonhazardous combustible wastes not recyclable can be utilized for thermal recovery at the incinerators which are completely equipped with pollution control devices. According to the trend of local autonomy and the equity principle of local autonomous entities, incineration facilities of minimal capacity required can be constructed at each districts of Seoul Metropolitan city which have organized local assembly. In case of Yangcheon district, the economically combustible waste quantity is about 260 tons/day which exceeds 150 tons/day, the incineration capacity of existing facility. But, from now on, waste quantity can be reduced substantially by the intensive efforts of citizens for source reduction and recycling and the institutional support of administrative organizations. Especially, it is indispensable for the government to constitute institutional and technological bases that can recycle paper and plastics form 43% of waste generated. A good time for constructing of incineration facilities for municipal solid waste can be postponed to the time that pollution control technologies of domestic enterprises are fully developed to satisfy the standards of air pollution prevention, because the life expectancy of Kimpo Metropolitan landfill site is about 25 years. Within this period, institutional improvements and technological advancements can be attained, while the air qual. ity of Seoul Metropolitan city can be ameliorated to the level to afford incineration facilities. 5. For final disposal, incombustibles and ash are landfilled sanitarily at Kimpo Metropolitan landfill site.

This study selected 60 board games that have a high sales rate and awareness in the board game market, and analyzed 37 board games that were selected through the advice of experts. According to the analysis of general characteristics, there was the highest number of board games that more than 2 people could participate and people from ages 7 to 11 could use, and the most common play time was from 20 minutes to 30 minutes. Also, there was the largest number of board games produced in 2000s, and Germany was the most common producer of board games. Next, the content analysis showed that abstract strategy was the most common game genre, and cognitive domain was the most common in the development area. The analysis based on how to play the game showed that games that had to go through 4 stages were the most common. Card games were the most common form of game, group was the most common in organization form, and reaching goal was most common among result analysis method. According to the analysis of correlation by items, the number of people and work analysis had a statistical correlation, and the playing age, time, and genre had a correlation. The origin of the game and game genre were also correlated to each other, and game form, game genre, organization form, and result analysis had a statistical correlation as well. The purpose of this study is to analyze the board game in terms of structural characteristics and to provide a foundation for future research.
