  • Mathematical description of arbitrarily-shaped tool surface are introduced by parametric patch approaches along with the related contact search algorithm. In order to maintain the advantages of membrane elements and to incoporate the bending effect, a BEAM(Bending Energy Augmented Membrane) element is proposed. Computation are carried out for some complex axisymmetric multi-stage deep drawing to verify the validity and the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • The effects of plasma treatment on the surfaces of the FR-4 (Flame Resistant-4) and copper substrates are investigated in terms of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), contact angle, and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The adhesion strengths of the underfills/FR-4 substrate and underfills/copper substrate are also studied. As experimental results, the plasma treatments of FR-4 and copper substrate surfaces yield several oxygen complexes in hydrophilic surfaces, which can play an important role in increasing the surface polarity, wettability, and adhesion characteristics of the underfills/substrates.

  • The influence of voltage lead and tape arrangements on self-field losses was investigated by using a 1.5m long Bi-2223 tape. Experimental results show that the measured losses are strongly dependent on voltage lead configurations but not contact positions. The losses are independent on frequencies below critical current of the tape. It menas that the self-field losses are purely hysteretic.

  • 본 연구는 Fe함량에 따른 Au-Fe합금 도금층의 접촉저항을 알아보는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 Fe함량을 다르게 하여 Au-Fe합금 도금층을 가진 시편을 제작하고 열처리를 실시한 후 접촉저항을 비교하였다. 그 결과 Fe함량이 증가할수록 접촉저항이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다.
