  • Fashion brands have traditionally conveyed emotions through brand image and images such as fashion photos; however, fashion films play an important role in conveying emotion to consumers due to changes that have resulted from the development of digital technology. This study investigates haptic perceptions in fashion films based on Laura Marks' theory. The study concurrently conducted literature and case studies. Haptic and is a condition of touching an object without actually touching it. Marks describes haptic theory as an embodied perception of physical effects that occur as images affect the body. Haptic perceptions that cause a sense of touching when looking at a fashion film can be understood as a formality embodied in the body of the object and spectator created by the object and spectator's clothing experience. Our bodies and apparel can be seen as being perceived and imprinted in our bodies by constantly experiencing and maintaining relationships in an inseparable relationship. Thus, when we look at fashion films, the haptic image invites feeling embodied in our body and provide a haptic perception. As a result, factors for the haptic perception in fashion film are ambiguity of images, fetish image, and non-narrative. Fashion companies are expected to make active use of haptic elements as an era of artificial intelligence arrives and the size of the e-commerce market grows.

사용자 실천 중심 의복지속가능성 평가항목 개발 (Development of Evaluation Criteria for Fashion Sustainability Focused on User Practice)

  • The purpose of the study is to establish sustainability evaluation items that can be applied to enhance clothing sustainability practice. The sustainability evaluation items related to clothing by product category, use, and disposal were derived through literature review. In order to evaluate the validity of the derived evaluation items, preliminary survey and two questionnaires were conducted for experts, and the importance and the possibility of change were measured. As a result, 39 evaluation items were constructed. Among the 39 evaluation items, 26 items related to the use and disposal were evaluated for 10 weeks in the 20s and 30s female consumers in terms of practice. The results of the study are as follows: First, items that have a high degree of importance and possibility of change are the items that can minimize resource saving, recycling, and the emission of harmful substances. Second, the participants' perceptions, attitudes, and outcomes of practicing the evaluation items of the use and disposal phase were proved to be positively affected, and the possibility of reducing resource saving and environmental impacts was proved. The clothing sustainability practice played a positive and developmental role in real life, while changing from small things to pursuing newness. The vagueness of sustainability was changed to specific perceptions and behaviors through the practice of the evaluation items.

The Impact of Prices and Distribution on Customer Satisfaction in the Pharmaceutical Industry of Kazakhstan

  • Purpose: This article aims to investigate the influence of pricing and distribution on the level of satisfaction and purchase decisions among consumers of pharmaceutical products in Kazakhstan. Research design, data, and methodology: A mixed-methods research design was utilized, incorporating primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through a survey administered to customers across various pharmacy types, with 100 valid responses analyzed. Secondary data involved an extensive review of existing literature and analysis of national statistics concerning the pharmaceutical market trends from 2008 to 2022. Results: The results reveal a complex relationship between price perceptions and customer satisfaction. A significant segment of the population views current drug prices as high, which affects their satisfaction levels and purchase decisions. The study also highlights the importance of service quality in enhancing customer satisfaction, suggesting that service improvements could mitigate some of the negative perceptions of pricing. Conclusions: This research contributes to the limited but growing body of knowledge on the impact of pricing strategies on consumer satisfaction in the pharmaceutical sectors of developing countries like Kazakhstan. Focusing on economic and behavioral aspects, this study provides a more holistic understanding of the factors driving consumer satisfaction and purchase behaviors in this critical sector.

전통시장 방문요인과 고객신뢰간의 관계분석 및 재방문 결정의 관계에 관한 연구 (The Analysis of the Factors in Customer Trust and Revisit Decision in Traditional Market)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between customer trust and intention to return to the traditional market by using empirical analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - For the empirical analysis of this study, questionnaires were conducted for adults and over 20s. A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed to consumers with experience in traditional markets, and 163 of them were used for empirical analysis. In order to analyze the relationship between customer trust and return visit intention by consumers visiting the traditional market, variables were selected through 10 constructive concepts and revised based on previous studies. The SPSS for win 18.0 was used for data analysis. Results - In order to clarify the relationship between consumer's visit to traditional market and customer's trust, it was found that the tolerance values of both the visiting factors and the consumers' perceptions of traditional markets were higher than .01. In the relationship between visitor's visit to traditional market and customer's trust, price was positively related to customer trust at 0.1% level. Image, product quality and freshness of traditional market were 5% Positive effects were found. These results show that consumers who visit traditional markets gain customer's trust in price, image, product quality and reliability of traditional market. Conclusions - In this study, the results of this study are as follows: First, the effect of customer trust on customer satisfaction is affected by the image (emotion) consumers feel about traditional market, the trust level about the price of goods offered by the market, The confidence level of freshness, the reliability of consumers' connection with the local economy, the consumer's traditional marketplace, and the level of awareness of the service (kindness) of the variables on the independent variables. As a result of the analysis, it was found that among the influence variables of customer trust used in this study, consumers had a high level of confidence about the price of commodities offered by the market, quality of goods, and freshness, The same relationship, market environment such as hygiene or cleanliness, connection with a local economy, service (kindness) of traditional market did not affect consumers' trust in traditional markets.

서비스 혁신을 위한 신제품 개발 과정에서 혁신 유형과 고객 참여 역할에 대한 소비자의 인식 (Consumer evaluation of the innovation types and the different roles of customer participation in the development of new products for service innovation )

  • 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명 시대에 기업들이 필수적으로 수행하는 신제품 또는 신 서비스 혁신 과정에서 고객이 참여하였을 때 소비자들의 인식을 조사한 연구이다. 구체적으로, 기업의 신제품 개발을 위한 혁신의 두 가지 유형 (기술 기반의 혁신, 시장 기반의 혁신)과 개발 과정에서 참여한 두 가지 고객 역할 (정보제공자, 공동 개발자)에 따라서 소비자의 제품 평가가 어떻게 달라지는지 조사하고자 하였다. 실험적 방법을 사용하여 가설을 검증한 결과, 신제품 개발 과정에 참여한 고객의 역할에 따라서 소비자의 제품평가는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 고객이 신제품 개발 과정에서 시장 정보 제공자로 참여한 경우가 제품의 공동 개발자로 참여한 경우보다 제품 평가에 더욱 호의적인 것으로 나타났다. 추가적으로, 제품 혁신의 종류와 고객 참여 역할 간에는 상호 작용 효과가 나타났다. 즉, 기술 혁신을 반영한 제품이 출시된 경우 두 가지 다른 고객의 역할에 따른 소비자의 제품 평가에는 차이가 없었지만, 시장 혁신 제품이 출시된 경우에는 소비자의 제품 평가에 있어서 고객들이 정보 제공자 역할로 참여한 경우가 공동 개발자 역할로 참여한 경우 보다 더욱 호의적으로 평가되었다. 본 연구는 각 혁신의 타입을 구분하고 동시에 고객들이 혁신 과정에 참여할 때 그 역할에 따라 소비자들의 인식이 어떻게 달라지는지 검증하였다는 점에서 이론적 의의를 가진다. 이후 기업 관점에서 실무적 의의와 함께 한계점을 제시하였다.

건강기능식품에 대한 인식 및 구매의도 연구 (The Perceptions and Purchase Intentions of Health Food Consumers)

  • 본 연구는 소비자들의 건강기능식품에 대한 인식과 구매 의도를 조사하기 위하여 수행되었다. 연구를 위한 자료는 서울 및 경기 지역 거주 만 20세 이상의 성인 남녀 454명을 대상으로 2010년 5월 10일부터 6월 5일까지 수집되었다. 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 건강관리행동에 있어 음주빈도는 '거의 안 마신다'(41.4%), '월 1-2회'(27.8%) 등의 순이었고, 흡연량은 '안 피운다'는 응답이 80.8%로 월등히 많았다. 운동빈도는 '거의 안함'(43.8%), '주 2회 이하'(30.0%) 등의 순이었고, 스트레스는 '어느정도 받는다'는 응답이 44.5%로 가장 많았다. 건강에 대한 인식은 '건강하지만 걱정하는 편'이라는 응답이 59.5%로 가장 많았는데 '질병이 있다'는 응답도 14.5%나 되었다. 끝으로 '운동'을 통해 건강을 관리한다는 응답이 37.2% 가장 많았고, '특별히 건강관리를 하지 않는다'(26.2%)는 응답이 뒤를 이었다. 둘째, 건강기능 식품 '복용경험이 있다'고 응답한 사람은 83.5%로 높게 나타났고, 복용경험이 없는 경우, '필요성을 느끼지 못해서'(60%), '의문스러운 효과 때문'(16%) 등이 주요한 이유였다. 셋째, 건강기능식품에 대한 인식은 '인증제도가 필요'(4.44), '질병예방에 도움'(3.60), '전문판매점이 필요'(3.59) 등의 항목에 순서대로 높은 동의를 보였다. 반면에 '부작용이 없음'(2.15), '질병치료 효과가 있음'(2.58) 등의 항목에는 부정적인 태도를 보였다. 넷째, 건강기능식품에 대한 관심도는 3.09로 별로 높지 않았으나 향후 구매의도는 3.40으로 다소 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 놓고 볼 때, 많은 소비자들이 건강기능식품을 복용하고 있으나 부작용을 우려하고 있고 질병치료효과나 노화방지효과 등에 대해서 부정적 태도를 보이고 있으며 또한 관심도도 별로 높지 않은 편이다. 따라서 소비자들의 우려를 불식시키고 관심도를 제고하기 위해, 품질을 개선하고 제품에 관한 충분하고 정확한 정보를 제공하며 또한 인증제도의 정착 및 홍보를 위한 소비자 교육프로그램을 시급히 마련해야 할 것이다.

식용곤충 함유 반려동물 식품에 대한 국내거주 미국인 소비자 인식 및 태도 연구 (Perceptions and Attitudes of Americans in Korea toward Edible Insect-based Pet Food)

  • 식용곤충 함유 반려동물 식품 시장의 성장 요인을 확인하기 위하여, 반려동물 식품시장 규모가 가장 큰 국가가 미국임을 고려하여 미국인 소비자를 대상으로 식용곤충 함유 반려동물 식품에 대한 인식과 태도를 분석하였다. 연구는 반려견을 키우는 재한 미국인 16명을 두 그룹으로 나누어 심층토론 방식으로 다음과 같은 세 가지 상황에서 진행하였다. 먼저 식용곤충 함유 반려동물 식품에 대한 자유 연상 인식을 관찰하였고, 이후 식용곤충 함유 반려동물 식품 관련 언론 정보를 제공한 후 이에 대한 태도를 분석하였으며, 마지막으로 실제 제품을 제시하여 구매 맥락에서의 소비자 태도를 확인하였다. 분석 결과, 참여자들은 식용곤충 원료에 대해 자유 연상 시 '친환경적인', '지속가능한'과 같은 환경적 가치에 대한 인식이 높고 이와 관련한 구체적 언론 정보에 대해서도 긍정적인 태도를 보였지만, 구매 맥락에서는 오히려 환경적 가치보다 '저 알레르기', '고단백질', '피부/모질 개선' 등과 같은 영양 및 건강기능적 가치를 중요하게 여기는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, '식용곤충 원료에 대한 거부감'은 일반 식품과 마찬가지로 반려동물 식품에서도 여전히 가장 중요한 부정적 요소로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 미국인 소비자들을 대상으로 세 가지 상황에서 식용곤충 함유 반려동물 식품의 환경적, 영양적, 건강기능적 가치에 대한 인식과 태도를 조사함으로써 식용곤충 원료 산업에서 시도하고 있는 반려동물 식품 시장 진출 전망에 대한 가능성을 확인한 것에 의의가 있다.

건강기능식품에 관한 인식도 및 소비양식의 분석 (Analysis of Perceptions and Behaviors Associated with Health Functional Food Use: a cross-sectional survey)

  • Background: The use of health functional food (HFF) is increasing and will continue to rise worldwide. Concerns about HFF-drug interactions are increasing as HFF are becoming more widely used. Therefore, awareness of consumers' perceptions and behaviors associated with HFF use may help health care providers improve their communications with patients. Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the characteristics, perceptions, and behaviors associated with HFF use in South Korea. Method: The online survey was conducted from September 21th to October 7th, 2013. With the aid of Social Network Service (SNS) and google, the questionnaire was posted online on internet website targeting people aged 15 years or older so that self-reported data covering 4 domains were collected from 257 Koreans. Results: A total of 257 people responded the questionnaire. Among them, 81.3% reported experiences of HFF use. Female were more likely than male to use HFFs. There were no differences in demographic characteristics between HFF users and non-users in relation to age, education, and household income. Higher level of education was associated with high-level perception of HFF function (OR 3.9, 95% CI 1.48, 10.1) and a positive relationship was observed between the maximum number of HFFs used concurrently and age of the respondents. Among the HFF users, 42.6% reported concurrent HFF-medication use. However 73.3% of them did not disclose their use to physician or pharmacist and only 30.2% were informed about potential drug-HFF interactions. Pharmacy was most commonly reported as the source from which the respondents were informed about potential interactions. Conclusion: Many people had used HFF and medications concurrently while not being informed about potential HFF-drug interactions. Pharmacists and physicians should be vigilant for risk of the interactions and actively determine whether the patient is using an HFF before prescribing and administrating medications.

대구지역 주민의 건강기능식품 인식 및 이용실태 (Perceptions and Consumption of Health Functional Foods in Daegu area)

  • Objective : Recently the number of health functional food (HFF) made with Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) herbs have been increasing. However, there was a lack of the functional and safety information on HFF. Thus, this study was performed to investigate perceptions and consumptions of the HFF in Daegu area. Method : We used the data of 'Survey in Daegu' in 2010 and analyzed characteristics of perceptions and intake conditions of HFF of 1,208 participated inhabitants. Result : Among the 1,208 respondents, 30.4% were male and 63.5% were female. Most respondents (69.3%) were between 30's and 50's decade. The recognition rate of HFF made with TKM herb appeared to 86.2%. The major route of acquiring HFF information was 'mass-media' (49.8%) ; the primary reason of using HFF was 'For health promotion and anti-aging' (69.2%). On the other hand, the recognition rate of adverse effects was 53.3%. As for intake effect, 41.5% were satisfied at HFF consumption, while 56.0% did not feel special effects through the HFF consumption. In regards to purchase place, 'HFF store' was most selected by 38.0%. 69.1% of respondents selected to TKM decoction, the reason is that it made according to TKM physician's diagnosis considered their health condition. Conclusion : HFF intake was purpose to health promotion, but HFF made with TKM was consumed without any information about that. In order that HFF be used properly to promote health, the scientific and reasonable information of HFF made with TKM herb is need for consumers.

허브를 첨가한 빵.과자류에 대한 대학생의 소비인식과 허브바게트의 관능적 특성 (University Students' Consumptive Perceptions of Bread and Cookies with Added Herbs and Sensory Characteristics of Herb Baguettes)

  • This study examined the consumptive perceptions of herb added breads and cookies with 436 male and 444 female university students. Also this study tested sensory preference of baguette. The results of this study were as follows: First, the intention rate of herb added breads and cookies were high with 85.5% (N=752) and female was higher with 89.6% than male with 81.2%. In terms of consumption prospect, 48.0% of them responded with increasing, 45.6% of them responded quite positively with 'average'. The 4.4% of them responded with decreasing. There was significant difference about consumption between male and female. Second, 45.8% of them responded herb added breads and cookies consumption rate will be increased due to consumers are seeking new tastes. The 59.0% of them responded consumption rate will be decreased due to they are not familiar with new taste. Third, in terms of sensory preference of rosemary added baguette, appearance, flavor, taste, overall acceptability was high with 2% added group. The texture was high with 1% added group. The appearance and flavor preference of mint added baguette breads was high with 1% added group. The taste, texture, and overall acceptability was high with control group. Fourth, while male preferred rosemary 1% on appearance, flavor, taste, texture, overall acceptability, female preferred rosemary 2% on appearance, flavor, taste, overall acceptability. Both of them evaluated mint 4% as the least preferred.
