  • The evaluation items to assess the consumer needs are thought to be varied depending on their age, education and income. It should be noted that consumer needs are getting too diversified to notice them in time due to the rapid economic, social and cultural development. It is, therefore, considered improper to try to assess the level of consumer satisfaction and correct consumer needs by employing one evaluation method for the vastly diversified consumer types. This research is going to conduct a written questionnaire survey to the apartment dwellers in order to identify like dweller groups according to their age, income and education. Then the scope of personal characteristics of each group will be identified and the importance assessment model will be developed. Then the items on the POE will be weighted according to the assessed importance. Finally a method of developing the customer satisfaction index will be produced to quantify how much the consumers are satisfied with the project.

  • This study investigated the role of YouTube in providing fashion information and explored how fashion companies and individual YouTubers used this platform to communicate with consumers and disseminate fashion contents. This research identified two main types of YouTube information providers: fashion companies and fashion YouTubers. It focused on characteristics of YouTube fashion information (such as informativity, novelty, usefulness, authenticity, and enjoyment) and their impact on consumer needs satisfaction, information satisfaction, and information acceptance. An online survey was conducted with female consumers aged 20 to 39 years, analyzing responses to assess how YouTube fashion information affected consumer behavior and decision-making. Using SPSS for statistical analysis, results indicated that usefulness and enjoyment significantly influenced information acceptance, particularly with fashion companies showing a stronger impact from usefulness, while authenticity and enjoyment were more influential for fashion YouTubers. Moreover, mediating effects of consumer needs satisfaction and information satisfaction on the relationship between fashion information characteristics and information acceptance were examined. Findings revealed that various characteristics had different mediating effects based on whether the information provider was a fashion company or a fashion YouTuber. Notably, enjoyment and authenticity played crucial roles in mediating consumer needs satisfaction. Overall, this study provides insights into how YouTube serves as a vital channel for fashion information, influencing consumer satisfaction and behavior. It also offers practical implications for fashion marketers on how to leverage YouTube effectively to meet consumer needs and enhance information acceptance, thereby proposing strategic marketing recommendations for fashion companies and YouTubers.

  • The study is in attempting for reviewing the selection problem of the measurement and the model, concerning a consumer satisfaction model. Therefore, a common model, which measures degree of consumer satisfaction by an arithmetic mean from measurement method including data, which assess compulsively the attribution and the importance to consumers, shows the problems of a field application. There showed a high predictive validity in the model of a singular item using the degree of a general satisfaction rather than a detailed assessment. However, the single model needs the model of consumer satisfaction from the using of plural items, because of the field problems that produce in an alternative application. There showed a high significance level in the model including variables, which are showing a high correlation between purchase intention and predictive validity.

  • The study finds a constructive way to improve shared houses by analyzing shared house living conditions, satisfaction of the residents and potential consumer's needs. For this, a survey of 179 single-person university residents and interviews with seven young adults residing in shared house was conducted. The results showed that shared house tenants had high satisfaction in regard to bedrooms, common spaces, and rental costs. They successfully adapted to community life by frequently using the living, dining spaces, and common spaces with respect and consideration towards other tenants by following rules. Single-person university household should prefer single rooms and the biggest consideration when they move into a shared house is rent. Affordable rates were 300,000 to 350,000 Korean Won per month (40.5%) and deposit of 3 million won or less (64.3%). Results also showed a need for a professional manager residing in the house with a cleaning service for common spaces and a want to share hobbies with other tenants (3.25/5 point scale). It is very important in a housing welfare perspective that one experiences the value of living and emotional sharing to heighten the satisfaction through shared houses. It is essential to put effort into developing a service that reflects consumer's needs for shared houses to continue as a housing alternative model for young adults.

Results: The results showed that experiential modules ('sense' module and 'feel-think-act') affected service quality (human service, physical service) in local brand hotels. But 'feel-think-act', one of experiential modules, only affected service quality in global brand hotels. Also, physical service only had strong effects on customer satisfaction with both local and global brand hotels. • Although consumer needs for better products force manufactures to put emphasis on design, often development of a product has been done without the formal process to consider consumer needs. In order to identify the implicit needs of customers and the areas of potential demand on a product, several analysis scheme such as QFD (Quality Function Deployment) has been developed. QFD, also known as the House of Quality, is the efficient tool ever created to tie product and service design decisions directly to customer wants and needs, i.e. VoC (Voice of Customer) To utilize this tool on a product design, first of all, the consumers attributes and the engineering characteristics must be exactly investigated. However there were only few studies about them on shoe design. Hence in this paper we developed an innovative framework for shoes design based on QFD. As a result, we uncovered 29 dominant human satisfaction dimensions as the consumers attributes for customer-oriented quality evaluation of a comfortable shoes. Here, 29 human satisfaction dimensions for a shoe design were identified as the dimensions that represent the human sensitivity and psychological feeling on comfortable shoes. Also, we proposed 60 human interface elements as the engineering characteristics. The relationships between human satisfaction dimensions and human interface elements were investigated. This study will help the designers and manufacturers clarify the conceptual and abstract aspect of the design evaluation by proposing a more systematic and process-oriented method.

  • Purpose: This study aims to explore the shopping motivations of consumers at South Korean convenience stores and create distinct consumer segments based on these motivations. Additionally, the research seeks to propose tailored marketing strategies for convenience stores by analyzing consumer demographics and satisfaction levels within each segment. Research design, data and methodology: Using factor analysis, we identify three primary shopping motivation factors: "social/leisure," "functional," and "convenience." Subsequently, we use cluster analysis to group convenience store consumers into three categories: the "convenience-seeking group," the "function/convenience-seeking group," and the "multipurpose-seeking group." To gain a deeper understanding of each consumer segment, we investigate how demographic factors relate to their levels of satisfaction. Results: These findings offer valuable insights for adapting to shifting consumer preferences and the increasingly competitive landscape of South Korean convenience stores, especially in the expanding services offered by online businesses. Conclusions: This research emphasizes the significance of developing marketing strategies tailored to address the distinctive needs and preferences of individual consumer segments. These strategies empower convenience stores to establish a competitive advantage in the market.
