  • The current study investigates major factors which influence the consumer's selection of internet shopping malls. Based on the technology acceptance model(TAM)(Davis, 1989) and trust theory(McKnight & Chervany, 2001), consumer selection factors from marketing research(Burke, 1997;Dodds et al, 2001), perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, service quality, and product price were hypothesized as to affect the consumer's decision to choose one's specific internet shopping malls. The study developed a research model to explain the shopping mall selection and collected the survey responses from 312 internet shopping mall users. The results of the current research indicate that all the research variables employed in the study, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, service quality, and product price, are found to significantly influence the consumer's shopping mall selection decision. Among the influencing factors, price, service quality, and trust showed a greater effect on the shopping mall selection than usefulness and ease of use. This result implies that purchase-related variables such as price and service quality may be more critical to attracting customers and thereby raising the sales volume of the shopping mall, than the web site's usefulness and ease of use.

  • This research examines the factors influencing consumer purchase intentions in e-commerce live streaming, set against the backdrop of the internet celebrity economy. The investigation serves as a pivotal inquiry into the dynamics of this economy, striving to uncover the extent of internet celebrities' influence, particularly in terms of their economic impact. Employing the Emotional Behavioral Cognitive (ABC) attitude theory and the Stimulus Organism Response (S-O-R) theory as foundational frameworks, this study scrutinizes internet celebrity live streaming sales. It incorporates direct observations and leverages existing scholarly work to devise a tailored measurement scale and questionnaire. From this, a research model and hypotheses are developed, leading to the establishment of an empirical model. This empirical model is instrumental in statistically analyzing how e-commerce live streaming, within the internet celebrity economy context, shapes consumer purchase intentions. By integrating theoretical insights and empirical findings, the research elucidates the strategic dimensions and consumer behavior aspects in digital commerce. It enhances understanding of how internet celebrity influence intersects with consumer purchasing processes. Overall, this study contributes to the academic discourse on digital marketing and consumer behavior, providing a nuanced perspective on the mechanisms through which internet celebrities affect e-commerce. It offers valuable implications for marketers, strategists, and policymakers aiming to navigate the complex landscape of the internet celebrity economy.

  • The present paper aims to examine the Influences of on line word of mouth(WOM) information valence and information contents to the information searcher. Specially, to examine the interaction effect it's two variables. For that purpose, we categorize WOM information valence into two subcategories; positive and negative, and WOM content into two subcategories; objective evaluation and subjective evaluation. We conducted experimentation design 2*2 and subjects are asked to their attitude and purchase intention after they are exposed each of four different types of WOM information. The result can be summarized as follow; First, the negative WOM has stronger effect on consumer's attitude and purchase intention than positive. Second, factual WOM has stronger effect on consumer's attitude and purchase intention than subject. Finally, when consumer face negative WOM, subjective WOM has more effect on consumer's attitude and purchase intention than factual. On the contrary, when consumer face positive WOM, factual WOM has more effect on consumer's attitude and purchase intention than subject. In conclusion, the korean Foreign Trade Act and other relative acts should be revised, and both educational services and health services should be contained within the definition of "the international trade" for the governmental benefits of supporting the services exportation.

  • Internet shopping mall has dual nature of information technology features defined by the web-based application system and marketing features explained by the shopping marketplaces. The purpose of this study aims at analyzing the consumer's attempt to purchase and re-purchase intention to the internet shopping mall to combine the IT perspective and the marketing perspective. This paper develop the integrated research model with the acceptance behaviors of customers through consumer's purchase decision process(pre-purchase stage and post-purchase stage). The results from an empirical survey as follows: First, the integrated model is valid in predicting the acceptance of the internet shopping malls by using structured equation modeling. Second, there are the differences between pre-purchase stage and post-purchase stage by each conceptual constructs. Finally, the results of MSEM(Multi-group Structured Equation Modeling) indicate the perceived ease of use and perceived trust to the attitude to the internet shopping mall is more effectively predicted at the pre-purchase stage. Vice versa, the perceived usefulness to the intention to the purchase intention of internet shopping mall is more effectively predicted at the post-purchase stage. This study provides an integrative approach to develop the effective and successful internet shopping mall strategy.

  • Internet lowers the search cost to acquire information about products and sellers price information. Because consumers can easily compare prices among different Internet retailers, the price competition among merchants in Internet has been intensified. For online retailers, it is important to differentiate their sites from competitors based upon services rather than prices. This study investigates which factors influence on consumers price sensitivity in Internet book markets and examines whether consumers price sensitivity has any effect on the type of preferred Internet bookstore (hybrid or pure online book stores). Survey is conducted to empirically investigate the relationship among the various consumer attitudes and price sensitivity. The result shows that price search and price importance have effect on the choice of Internet bookstore. Consumers with higher price sensitivity preferred to purchase books from pure Internet bookstores rather than hybrid (click-and-mortar) bookstores. This study provides an exploratory framework that tries to understand consumer behavior about price sensitivity that might provide some marketing implications to lessen the price competition of Internet retailers.
