This study examined consumer perceptions towards outdoor wear differentiation and product attributes for outdoor wear differentiation to develop an outdoor wear differentiation strategy. It also investigated how consumer's evaluated product attributes according to consumer's demographic characteristics. Data were acquired from a survey of 454 adult respondents aged over 20 that was analyzed with descriptives, frequency, t-test, one-way ANOVA, factor analysis, and reliability. The results were as follows. First, it showed that consumers did not have a positive or a negative perception toward outdoor wear differentiation, and they thought outdoor wear should be differentiated. Those married and older tended to think that outdoor wear should be differentiated more than that for those single and younger. Consumer evaluations were significantly different on the necessity of outdoor wear differentiation according to age and total income. Second, consumers assessed that color, pattern and textiles had similar characteristics among outdoor wear brands; in addition, brand recognition and brand image had very different characteristics. Third, product attributes for outdoor wear differentiation were service and store, product quality, brand and popularity, and product designs with mean values of product quality, product design, service and store, and brand and popularity, respectively. Fourth, consumers were significantly different in the importance assessment of product attributes for differentiation according to gender, marital status and age.

The aim of this study is to research on the recognitions and preferences of Puffer fish consumers with the recently increasing well-being trend. To carry out this research, the main analysis was focused on two specific points: how much consumers perceive swellfish and which kinds of Puffer fish foods are preferred by consumers. Although the consumption of Puffer fish is gradually expending, at the same time, there are also numerous obstructive elements in consuming swellfish. In this regard, this test on Puffer fish food will be able to contribute to show an outlook for the Puffer fish food market in the future and to promote consumption of Puffer fish as well. Methodologically, a statistical research was adopted to find out how people understand Puffer fish and the patterns of their choices and intensive examinations were conducted throughout the collected questionnaire. For a more effective outcome, it was necessary to divide into two groups, the Nation's capital area with Seoul as a center, the most densely populated area and Busan, the biggest marine products consumption area, examining the inclination to consume with regions. In the concrete, the detailed research survey on the Puffer fish were performed with the opinions of the five hundred people from capital area and the five hundred people from Busan area. The difference and common features of consumer's recognition about Puffer fish food were founded through cross analysis according to age, gender, regions, and income. In conclusion, this research showed the difference tastes and recognition standards toward Puffer fish among consumers from Seoul and Busan areas. If it is possible to apply this result to the efforts of improving supplier's understanding about Puffer fish consumers' features and cultivating new Puffer fish items, it could contribute to the further consumption of Puffer fish food in the long term point of view.
In today's market scenario, consumers are bombarded with similar promotional messages. It means that managers have to pay attention to promotion strategy to create strong effect as well as to break through the monotony. In this context, although there are strong needs concerning tie-in promotion, research investigating tie-in promotion is limited. Therefore, we extracted tie-in promotion tools and defined the concept of each tie-in promotion tool by analyzing various tie-in promotion cases which are executed in current market. In addition, consumer's recognition of tie-in promotion was investigated through the in-depth interview. The results of case analysis of tie-in promotion and in-depth interview are summarized as follows. First, 9 tie-in promotion tools were extracted: tie-in price reductions, tie-in coupons, tie-in membership, tie-in contests, tie-in premiums (tangibility, intangibility), tie-in payment terms, tie-in sample, tie-in event(culture event, charity event, experience event) and tie-in fund·rebate. Second, 3 categories of the recognition of the consumer for tie-in promotion were extracted: features of preferred tie-in promotion, expectation benefit of tie-in promotion, and risk factors of tie-in promotion. Especially, at the aspect of features of preferred tie-in promotion, fit between consumer pursuit benefit and tie-in promotion was found to be interesting. Moreover, the recognition of the consumer for tie-in promotion were divided with positive(preferred tie-in promotion features, expectation benefit of tie-in promotion) and negative(risk factors of tie-in promotion) factors. In conclusion, the company's effort will be necessary to lower the perceived risk level occurring from the process of accomplishing the tie-in promotion strategy since consumers recognize both positive and negative effects of tie-in promotion.

The main goal of this study is to survey the actual condition of farm household adopt traceability of agricultural products and the consumers' recognition of the traceability. Thirty six farm household adopted traceability of agricultural products and one hundred twenty three consumers were surveyed for this study. A total of the cultivated area of surveyed farm household was 39.6ha-owned land(21.2ha) and Rented land(18.4ha)-and the cultivated area of crops with the traceability of agricultural product was 15.7ha, consisting of 39.6% of the whole cultivated area. 22.2% of agricultural traceability products was cultivated bychemical method and 77.8% of the them by environment-friendly agricultural methods-organic cultivation accounts for 2.8%, no-chemicals cultivation 47.2% and low-chemicals cultivation 27.8%. As a result of the consumer survey, 75.6% of respondents recognized agricultural product traceability and only 29.0% of them had experience to purchase traceability products. But 61.0% of surveyed people had intention to purchase traceability products in the future. It was found that consumers wanted to know about production traceability information of farm products in order to identify quality certification including environment-friendly certification, product quality such as taste, weight, grade, and the use of insecticides and fertilizers regarding use frequency and kinds of chemicals.
The purpose of this study was to examine the recognition of citizens in Busan on the doctor-designation system, the awareness of medical consumers with experience of using this system and their satisfaction in an effort to seek ways of improving this system. The subjects in this study were the selected citizens in Busan who were at the age of 20 and up. As a result, it's found that the largest group of the respondents was female, in their 20s, received college or higher education, students and in the service industry, and that the most common monthly mean income was between two and 2.99 million won. 27.7 percent were aware of the doctor-designation system, and 23.7 percent became cognizant of the system through others who had used it. The rate of knowing the rules of the doctor-designation system (the right answer) stood at 66.3 percent. They got to know about the system through mass media(31.9%), and used it since it offered highly specialized treatment(57.5%). The respondents who had used it intended to reuse it(76.3%), and the reason was that they were provided with high-class medical services (35.2%). The respondents who had used this system got a mean of 2.96 in satisfaction level, which was not high in general. They mentioned more publicity efforts(91.2%), offering information in a conspicuous place (96.7%) and cutting doctor-designation treatment fee as a means of improving this system. As for how to ensure the operating efficiency of the system, sustained publicity seem to be necessary to raise awareness of the system among patients, and it's required to take measures to relieve patients of financial burden caused by medical bills.

In addition, an intense competition depending on the diversity of consumer demands women's clothing brands show changes in market organization such as diversification of the circulation market and general market depression in this rapidly changing fashion environment. Companies tend to use fashion VMD (a marketing-strategic approach) as a differentiation method to create a fashion brand shop image as brand differentiation becomes difficult due to generalization of techniques. This study analyzes forms and types of VMD recognized by consumers within this marketing communication environment and Q methodology was adapted to analyze the subjective internal order of individuals. First, a set of stimuli that presented the brand name and another without it were prepared (two sets in total) to examine the effects in the presentation of the brand name. Stimulants with the brand name were presented to the subjects by the same method after an experiment through stimuli without the brand name presented. As a result, VMD recognition factors were classified into 4 Q factors in cases of stimuli without brand names and 2 factors in cases of stimuli with brand names. This indicates that among brand functions, the role of simplifying information management and grasping the thoughts of consumers was applied. This study has a practical value of presenting VMD directions of each brand image based on the factors discovered.

The purpose of this research is to provide the apparel companies with a successful business strategy by analyzing the concept, function and current status of mileage programs; and examining how customer's attitude, recognition, experience, compensation method of the mileage program in apparel companies affect its brand loyalty. In this research simple random sampling was performed. The sample pool was based on 494 people which included college students and employed men and women in their twenties and thirties living in Seoul and in the metropolitan area. The data analysis was completed on the basis of SPSS package, using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, factor analysis, variation, Scheffe test, regression, t-test, and X/sup2/. The following results were found in this research: It is effective to maintain brand loyalty through continuous relationship with consumers as fierce competition increases in apparel companies. A mileage program is a win/win strategy that allows clothing companies to increase its sales and brand loyalty while consumers feel greater satisfaction.
This study empirically analyzed the influence of fashion brands' marketing issues on actual sales and consumer preference-focusing on evaluation trends of brands over time by using the theoretical background and big data provided through literature. This study examined the influence of three fashion brands (Balenciaga, Vetements, and Off-White) that have recently seen a drastic increase in the number of searched volumes through social networks. To identify the consumer-brand evaluations and trends and the marketing issues, the time period was divided into Groups A and B, which are from 2014 to 2015 and from 2016 to 2017, respectively. This study analyzed the frequency of overlapping keywords by using the R program to graphically visualize the changes over the timeline. Specifically, this analysis extracted data mainly related to bags, wallets and accessories for 2014-2015, but in 2016-2017, all four brands saw a vast increase in the frequency of searching product keywords related to clothing and footwear, and newly extracted ones were the top keywords. When analyzing the big data with these keywords as indicators, I confirmed that the products related to bags, wallets, and accessories were shifted to those related to apparel and footwear. Consumers previously recognized luxury brands such as Balenciaga as accessories-oriented brands that were focused on handbags and sunglasses, but now they are gaining popularity and recognition among consumers as a fashion brand.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the consumer's current use and recognition for foodservice social enterprises type cafe. During the research, problems regarding the developmental directions of foodservice social enterprises type cafe. A one-to-one survey method was used for data collection, and 301questionnaires among the 309 distributed questionnaires to consumers were analyzed (97.4% response rate). The main results of the study were as follows : with reference to the awareness of the foodservice social enterprise type cafe, a majority of respondents (81.1%) replied that they had knowledge related to the business of social enterprise. Furthermore, regarding how customers came to know about the foodservice social enterprise type cafe results showed that 28.2% of respondents knew about the cafe by acquaintances such as friend, co-worker, family, 23.2% by mass media, and 27.2% by others. Data concerning a companion when visiting the cafe, revealed that more than half of the respondents (80.0%) had visited with friend and co-worker. On problems with using the cafe, approximately 46.2% of the respondents replied that there was lack of public relation and 28.9% replied that it was an uncommon store. Since the findings suggested that the major problem is a lack of promotion, foodservice social enterprises type cafe should prepare organized brochures and guide system to attract customers with various purposes and values. Finally, the promotion for foodservice social enterprise type cafe requires a guidance map.

Domestic and overseas information with regard to harmful substances are analyzed. From the results, environmental-derived hazard chemicals, which show relatively low recognition, and hazard chemicals that occur unavoidably in food manufacturing process are selected as target harmful substances. Thus, educational leaflet contents were developed based on these substances. To find the effects of education with the above contents, this study surveyed 120 female college students living in Seoul. The purpose of the survey is to analyze the change in recognition, attitude and behavior on hazard chemicals in foods. The survey found that the recognition on harmful substance in foods increased; from 31.5~78.0% before education to 98.8% after education. It also indicates that vague anxiety in which the harmful substances may damage their health decreased by approx. 25.0%; from 77.8% before education to 52.8% after education. For the question of what they would do when government promotes to reduce harmful substances in foods, 12.3% of respondents said that they would actively follow the suggestions and 73.5% of them said that they would do their best before an education. However, 56.1% of them said that they would actively follow the suggestions after the education. It indicates that the ability to recognize harmful substances changed after the education. With regard to consumer behavior, when they knew about the harmful substances in foods, 49.6% of them said that they would select foods after investigating relevant information before the education, while 77.4% of them said that after the education; which is an increase of 27.8%. Further, 45.4% of them said that they would not purchase relevant foods before the education, while 20.9% of them said that after the education; which is a decrease of 24.5%. Therefore, it is considered that vague anxiety of consumers can be eliminated by providing persuasive information on harmful substances. To expand on the communication channel with consumers for food safety, contents development and educational promotion should be enhanced for providing food safety related information.
