Study for the ergonomic design of driver's cab (운전실의 인체공학적 설계에 대한 연구)

  • Driver's cab shall be designed ergonomically to provide the comfort for a driver to gather the information from the equipments and to operate the equipments effectively. The typical three design factors effected on the comfort are the access of driver's cab, freedom of movement inside the cabs and visibility condition. All control equipments shall be arranged so that those which are most often used or are of critical importance are the most convenient to the driver. The layout of driver's cab shall maximize the use of available space to be rugged and easily maintained. The visibility for the running direction along the track shall be secured. The visibility condition apply the seating position of the driver. Not only the environment condition(temperature, humidity, rattle, etc) but also the construction of driver's cab can be ergonomic design factor.

  • Recently, the demand regarding reliability and safety of the railroad are increased as built to Driverless LRT system. Therefore, PM and SE technique is applied for efficient management of a construction business. In case of SE(System Engineering) in domestic, most foreign companies are doing to lead but we are under effort for the environment that a domestic company can lead. In this study, We emphasize to SE importance of pre-business for operation to be effective of Driveless LRT system, and propose about activities in the SE at requirements definitions and requirements analysis steps of a highest level. To achieve this, We propose SE Application Methods of Pre-Business regarding assistance process of project planning, evaluation and control, and risk management.

  • In recent years, the development and application of green energy resources have attracted more and more /$^*$ 'tention of people. The training room presented here is focused on the terminal applications of a photovoltaic power generation system (PPGS). Through introducing the composition and the general design principles, we aimed at leading the students to master the fundamental skills required for its design, installation and construction. The training room consists of numerous platforms, such as: PPGS, Wind and Photovoltaic Hybrid Power Generation Systems, Wind Power Generation Equipments, Simulative Grid-Connected Power Generation System, Electronic Technology Application of New Energy, etc. This enables the students to obtain their project and professional skills training via assembling, adjusting, maintaining and inspecting, etc., various component parts of the photovoltaic and new energy power generation systems, to further grasp the fundamental and related theoretical knowledge, and to further reinforce their practical and operational skills, so as to improve their problem-analyzing and problem-solving abilities.

  • In the plant EPC project, the procurement work can be considered as the most important part that affects the success or failure of project as it has the closest mutual influence in every execution process of the project. Procurement takes up generally 60% ~ 70% of the entire project budget and the current trend of plant EPC project becoming larger in scale and a variety of process technology being applied. So, it is needed to identify the risks that are expected to occur according to the stages of procurement work, namely, proposal stage, manufacturer selection and purchasing agreement stage, expediting the process management of manufacturer stage, inspection stage and logistics & transportation stage. The management of observation and control of the risks should be performed with the response techniques which are 'avoid',' transfer'and' mitigate'.

Development of Analysis Model for Characteristics Study of Fluid Power Systems in Injection Molding Machine (사출성형기 유압시스템의 특성 검토를 위한 해석 모델 개발)

  • Injection molding machine is the assembly of many kinds of mechanical and fluid power part and electro-electronic control system. From in these, fluid power is a part where becomes the first core of this machine. Fluid power systems of injection molding machine are modelled and analyzed using a commercial program AMESim. The analysis model which is detailed about the parts applied a publishing catalog data. Sub system models which is divided according to functional operation are made and its analysis results shows how design parameters work on operational characteristics like displacement, pressure, flow rates at each node and so on. Total fluid power circuit model is also made and analyzed. The results made by analysis will be used design of fluid power circuit of injection molding machine.

  • Double-color Injection molding machine is the assembly of many kinds of mechanical, fluid power part and electric electronic control system.   • Steel Fiber Reinforced Shotcrete(SFRS) has been prevalently used in lining to stabilize tunnel structures as temporary or permanent support. In recent, it is one of the major elements of tunnel construction, and so the quality control of SFRC should be clarified to guarantee the safety. The experimental study has been performed to verify the possible correlations in several chracteristics related to quality of SFRC and examine the applicability of round panel test for in field. The test variables were the type and dosage of accelerator, aspect ratio of fiber, and fiber content. The test results such as compressive strength, flexural strength, flexural toughness, and energy absorption capacity, were exmained and analyzed scrutinizingly.

  • This paper presents the forward kinematics of the Casing Oscillator that is a construction machine. The Structure of the Casing Oscillator is similar to those of 4 degree-of-freedom mechanisms with a redundancy. With analytical (geometrical) methods, the solutions of the forward position kinematics problem are significantly found by both solving an 8$^{th}$ -order polynomial equation in one unknown variable and using one over-constraint geometrical equation which can be derived under the condition of a redundancy. The proposed forward kinematics has closed-form solutions and allows Auto-Balancing control of the moving platform in real time. Numerical examples are presented and the results are verified by an inverse kinematics analysis.

  • When a construction company builds a high structure, many piles should be driven into the ground by a hammer whose weight is 7,000 Kg in order to make the ground under the structure safe and strong. So, it is essential to determine whether a pile is penetrated into the ground enough to support the weight of the structure since ground characteristics at different locations are different each other. This paper proposes a visual measurement system for pile rebound and penetration movement including vibration using a high-speed line-scan camera and a specially designed mark to recognize two-dimensional motion parameters of the mark using only a line-scan camera. A mark stacking white and black right-angled triangles is used for the measurement, and movement information for vertical distance, horizontal distance and rotational angle is determined simultaneously

  • The micro robot soccer playing system is introduced. Studying and learning, evolving in artificial agents are very difficult problem, but on the other hand we think more powerfully challenging task. In our laboratory, this soccer-system studies mainly centered on single agent learning problem. The construction of such experimental system has involved lots of kinds of challenges such as robot designing, vision processing, motion controlling. At last we will give some results showing that the proposed approach is feasible to guide the design of common agents system.
