  • Modern constitution obtains its justice by protecting the people's basic legal rights. The constitutional rights can be more than a defensive measure against government power by modern viewpoints. The government has to create an atmosphere which the rights are not violated. The Constitution provides that the government has to make efforts to prevent disaster and protect the people from danger in Clause 34, Art. 6. The government has an obligation to protect the people's basic legal rights of life, health and property from fire damages, and those rights are gathering strength under a socialist state principle as fundamental ideology of modern societies. The present fire inspection system gains a point constitutionally but it still needs to be certified as the most suitable system. This article examines the solution to operate fire inspection system efficiently, given the reality of present system operation. It is necessary to improve the system by integrating the present fire inspection with the self fire inspection. Government needs to re-modification the Fire inspections system for prevent and promote (resolve) the problem which government officer (ex fire fighter) can make a irregularities and corruption as do it oneself.

  • We have examined the phase of Bian Zheng(辨證) by individual characteristics, who underwent the Oriental Medical Physical Examination, based on the Bian Zheng questionnaire of Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine. Since the correlations in all Bian Zhengs showed meaningful results at 0.01(p-value<0.05) in terms of level of significance and all coefficients are in positive value, the correlation in these Bian Zhengs could be said to exhibit the change toward the same direction with close correlation rather than contradictory change. The mean Bian Zheng score of women was generally higher than that of men, particularly in Blood-Deficiency, Qi-Stasis, Qi-Deficiency. But there is no difference of the mean Bian Zheng score in Sasang Constitution. We performed the Linear regression analysis to see the change of Bian Zheng score by age and could presume that the older they are, the higher Bian Zheng score, but statically the result is not meaningful. By the above result, we could come to the conclusion that the Bian Zhen questionnaire is more useful to the patient than the healthy people.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical implication of Eight Principle Pattern Identification, EPPI in Sasang Typology. Although EPPI is considered as the most basic differential diagnosis in Oriental Medical Science, it has not been used actively enough in clinical practice owing to the presumption that EPPI is not sufficient for the analysis of complex clinical symptoms. In Zhang Jiebin's Jingyuequanshu, he separates Yin-Yang with Six-identification in EPPI when explaining them. This implies that it is difficult to talk about each of EPPI in same perspective. Thus, for the active clinical usage of EPPI it is necessary to study in hierarchical perspective. Lee Je-ma's Sasang typology could be a good example that uses the hierarchical perspective of EPPI. In the book Dongeuisoosebowon Lee Je-ma talks about differentiating Yin with Yang by constitution, Exterior with Interior and Cold with Heat accordingly, to apply in prescriptions. After differentiation, Yin and Yang are placed in higher level from the rest of EPPI, thus Yin and Yang can influence the rest of EPPI. This study showed the importance of EPPI in understanding the differential diagnosis system of Sasang typology in clinical perspectives.

  • Objectives This study was aimed to analyze the reliability of vocal features and probabilities for being in Sasang constitutional types calculated from Sasang constitutional voice diagnosis system according to operator presence. Methods We acquired 96 voice recordings from one male and one female for 4 days. For the first 2 days, the subjects recorded their voice by themselves. For the last 2 days, they recorded according to the instruction of an operator following the standard operating procedure. We analyze the standard deviations of vocal features, probabilities for being three constitutional types, Tae-Eum (TE), So-Yang (SY), and So-Eum (SE) Results In the case of the female, coefficients of variations of the voice variables and the probabilities for being each constitutional type were all within 20%. In the case of the male, coefficients of variations were all within 20% except one variable. Even if there was no instruction from the operator, standard deviations of the probability did not increase for both genders. When recorded without the operator, for male, the probability for being SE decreased by 3.2%. For female, the probability for being TE increased by 5.438%, and that of SE decreased by 3.057%, and that of SY decreased by 2.394%. Conclusions When recorded without operators, for men, there was a significant difference in the probability for being SE. And for women, there were significant differences in the probabilities for all constitutional types.
