  • In this paper, we propose EWMA control charts using the life time data for the system with the constant failure rate, which were drawn from the fixed sampling interval without replacement(with replacement), and investigate the power of detection of EWMA by comparing ARL of EWMA control charts with one of Shewhart control charts.

  • In this paper we proposed AC/DC boost converter to improve input current harmonic reduction in TIG welder. The proposed harmonic reduction circuit with UC2854AN acting on constant switching frequency average current control has a three-loop control structure : the inner current loop the line voltage feed-forward loop and th outer voltage loop. Also we applied the constant current strategy on full bridge IGBT inverter to stabilized the output current using the analog PI controller. To demonstrate the practical significance of the proposed methods some simulation studies and experimental results are presented.

  • This paper proposed the resonant DC-DC converter with constant switching frequency. Its output is controlled by the auxiliary switch which is attached in conventional MRC circuits. The average output voltage is equal to the average voltage of the auxiliary switch. If the on time of the auxiliary switch is short, output voltage is decreased. Because of using the multi resonant method, the power loss from the parasitic elements can be decreased. Experimental performance of DF ZVS Forward MRC topology with switching frequency of 1MHz is presented.

  • In this paper, an advanced charging strategy for improving the charging performance of the Li-ion polymer battery is proposed, which is based on the battery characteristic. Simulation results show that the proposed charging current pattern can improve the charging speed of battery in comparison with the standard CC-CV (constant current - constant voltage) charging strategy and the pulse-charging strategy.

  • This paper classifies driving technologies for AMOLEDs by the driving TFT conditions in pixels. A saturation region operation type driving TFT circuit provides good stability of OLED because of constant current drive. However, complicated compensation circuits are necessary to avoid effect of the TFT characteristics deviation. On the other hand, a linear region operation type driving TFT circuit provides better uniformity of the display image and lower power consumption. However, the stability of OLED is critical because of constant voltage drive.

  • This paper presents an effect of cross magnetization to the generator simplified linear model which is used for multi-machine power systems. The formulae of reactances and time constant with saturation effect are presented. The simulation results show that cross magnetization has an effect which can not be ignored, to the reactances, time constant and eigenvalues in one machine infinite bus system of simplified linear model.

  • This paper proposed a MPPT ( Maximum Power Point Tracking) control algorithm for PV(Photovoltaic) array based on a modified constant voltage control MPPT algorithm at low-insolation. This method which combines a IncCond(Incremental Conductance) and a constant voltage control algorithm. In contrast to the typical conventional MPPT algorithm, the proposed method have been obtained high efficiency and good performance. The proposed algorithm is verified through simulation result. In order to confirm the availability of the scheme, a simulation used PSIM and ACSL software tool.

  • This paper proposes the estimation algorithm to find the rotor time constant of induction motors, which is very important for induction motor drive system. This strategy is based on flux estimator theory. Proposed method has been demonstrated through simulation using MATLAB SIMULINK.

  • This paper presents a forecasting method for production volume of each model manufactured goods by using Back-Propagation technique of Neural Networks. As the learning constant and the momentum constant are respectively 0.65 and 0.94, the learning number is the least, and the forecating accuracy is the highest. When the learning process is more than 1,000 times, the accurate forecating was possible regardless of kind of product.
