This study looked at worked on remaining landscapes in terms of landscape ecology. It presented some ways to conserve and to activate remaining landscapes with examples of agricultural lands in Hwa-won Gun, Ok-po Myun. The results are as follows: We investigated 20 remaining landscape types and 90 remaining landscapes, and classified them in terms of forest and water zones. To evaluate the investigated remaining landscapes, we produced a grading system using 8 criteria such as vitality, stability, field suitability, type of inner scenery formation, connection, recreation, and culture/tradition. Our evaluation of the vitality found that Grade I had the mast remaining landscapes; Grade II had 28, Grade III had 16, Grade V had four, and Grade IV had none. We evaluated the outer landscape influence using 3 criteria such as divisibility, vitality, and indication. We found from evaluating the type of inner scenery formation that most of the landscapes superior to Grade III were adjacent to water zones and that linear landscapes evaluated as Grade I, and II played an important role in this connection. We evaluated the recreation probability using marks, frequencies, and emergencies of peculiar types. Based on the results, we proposed some ways to conserve and to activate the remaining landscapes classified by grades using the results of the last evaluation. Additionally, we proposed some ways to activate the restoration of the linear axis of the green space function the formation of a buffer green space around matric space, the improvement of the axis of the green space center, and the formation of additional green tracts of land to play the role of stepping stones. We proposed the possibility of improving uniformed farm land structures. This study did not consider the weighting values of the evaluation index. Therefore a more objective study will be needed with an expert-survey in the future.

To take advantage of reduced on-site construction periods and minimize traffic impacts various types of steel grid composite deck have been developed since 1930's. Modular prefabricated unfilled grid decks permit a long-distance transportation and construction under unfavorable condition, for example, in mountainous regions due to its comparatively light-weighter structure than fully filled grid deck. In this study bending tests of unfilled grid decks for the deck member of various kinds of infrastructure are carried out, bending strength and behaviour of composite action are experimentally evaluated. In this bending test, design variables are considered, such as type of shear connection between steel grid and concrete slab, spacing between cross bars and thickness of concrete slab. Through test results bending strength and behaviour of composite action are evaluated, reference data for proper type of shear connection and other details of the deck, such as spacing between cross bars, are obtained.

As information communication technology matures, GIS is being evolved from wire communication GIS to mobile GIS. This is due that mobile GIS satisfy mobility, field work, speed and time. Also, this is proper that mobile GIS accomplish investigation, confirmation, input and modification operations of spatial and attribute data at field. I think mobile GIS's use is the best way. Because, Mobile GIS's use can accomplish effectively the management of various kinds facilities in city. On this study, we consider diversified methods a person in charge can management point and line data with more easy and more effective method. The management methods of pint type data are free method, offset method two point method. The management methods of line type data are free method, point connection method, point and line connection method and the minimum distance connection method between point and line.

In this investigation, a gas gun is proposed driven by carbon dioxide gas and installed on a quadcopter-type small unmanned drone for the purpose of cattle vaccination, and we developed a launcher and its connection unit. The system consists of a commercial drone, a gas gun, a solenoid valve, and the remote communication controller, etc. The velocity of launched projectile is measured, and the full system is finally validated through ground test and flight examination loaded for the real aircraft. The feasibility is checked if this technology is applicable to various disease abatement and hazard mitigation in the fields of agriculture and fire-fighting with the present research and development.
Purpose: This study was aimed to compare the survival and success rates, and long-term crestal bone loss according to the use of 2 connection types of dental implants (submerged-USII and non-submerged-SSII; Osstem $Implant^{(R)}$) by analyzing the change in alveolar bone height after 1 year under load and during final follow-up period. Materials and Methods: Between December 2004 and August 2008, patients with two types of Osstem implants (USII and SSII) were retrieved retrospectively. A total of 92 patients with 284 implants (USII=60, SSII=224) was finally selected. Their mean follow-up period was 7.5 years. The mesial and distal alveolar crestal bone changes were measured using radiographic images and the average was calculated at 1 year after loading and during final follow-up period. Result: Among the 284 implants, 4 USII and 7 SSII implants were removed, indicating 93.3% and 96.9% survival rates. Of the survived implants, mean crestal bone loss 1 year after loading was 0.39 mm for USII and 0.19 mm for SSII (P=0.018). During the final follow-up, mean crestal bone loss was 0.63 mm and 0.35 mm for USII and SSII, respectively, without statistical significance (P=0.092). According to the criteria for the success and failure of the implant by Albreksson and colleagues, final success rate was estimated as 86.7% for USII and 91.5% for SSII, respectively. Conclusion At 1 year after loading, the average crestal bone loss was significantly different between USII and SSII; however, both types met the criteria for implant success. During the final follow-up, both groups showed insignificant bone resorption patterns and did not show any pathological clinical symptoms. Therefore, both implants exhibited high long-term stability.

Flat plate slab is cost-efficient structural system widely used in high rise building, apartment and parking garages. But flat plate-column connections are so weak against punching shear failure that it may cause collapse of overall structure. In this study, spiral type shear reinforcement which increases the shear strength and ductility of the plate-column connection and has good workability was proposed. And experimental test was performed to verify the punching shear capacity of spiral type shear reinforcement. The current code does not accurately estimate the punching shear strength of slab-column connection with shear reinforcement because slab is so slender that punching failure may occurred before shear reinforcement reached yield stress. Therefore modified equation of ACI code for punching shear strength was proposed base on finite element analysis using LUSAS program, and data analysis from CEB-FIP database.

This paper summarizes the results of push-out test specimens with a new type of shear connector called ㄱ type perfobond rib. This connector is a flat steel plate with a number of holes punched through and strengthen rib's head part. According to experiment result, ㄱ type perfobond rib shear connector appeared that resistance force is increased than stud shear connector by $108\%$ and perfobond rib shear connector by $26\%$. The results obtained indicate that the perfobond rib connector is a viable alternative to the headed studs. An appreciable improvement in the shear capacity of the connection was observed when additional reinforcing bars were passed through the perfobond rib holes. For composite beams with concrete filled steel tubes, ㄱ type perfobond shear connectors exhibit adequate ductility and substantially higher capacities.

The study analyzed problems by iron core structure of the three phased transformer on asymmetric three phase lines, which included line disconnections, ground faults, COS OFF, and unbalanced loads on the power distribution system. In particular, by analyzing PT combustion cases within the MOF, the study was able to analyze the combustion cause of the core-type transformer and its effect on the system, conduct simulations and practice demonstrations on the characteristics for each iron core structure of the three phase transformer using PSCAD/EMTDC, and suggest measures to prevent the combustion of the core-type transformer.
Orders and types of entire functions have been actively investigated by many authors. In this paper, we investigate some basic properties in connection with sum and product of relative (p, q, t) L-th order, relative (p, q, t) L-th type, and relative (p, q, t) L-th weak type of entire functions with respect to another entire function where $p,q{\in}{\mathbb{N}}$ and $t{\in}{\mathbb{N}}{\cup}\{-1,0\}$.

There are three types that geometrical arrangement of the pulse tube and regenerator - in line type, U type, and coaxial type. The most compact and convenient one practical applications is the coaxial type. It can replace Stirling cryocooler without any change to the Dewar or the connection to the cooled devices. To investigate effects of the inertance tube, we perform experiments with varying inertance tube inner diameter and length. The experimental results show that optimum inertance tube inner diameter and length are 1.3mm, 1900mm respectively.
