경부선(KTX) 직결운행 도입 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Direct connection Service Effectiveness in Gyeongbu(KTX))

  • 본 연구는 KTX의 고속운행에 의한 통행시간단축과 일반열차(새마을, 무궁화)의 다수 정차에 의한 접근 편의성 등 복합 장점을 지닌 직결운행이란 새로운 대안을 제시하고 도입 타당성을 검토하고자 하였으며, 이에 경부선의 과거 철도 수송수요 Data를 근거로 KTX 개통전 후 수요변화 및 경부선 2단계(동대구${\sim}$부산) 개통에 의한 유발수요 등을 고려하여 예측하였다. 분석 결과 직결운행 도입(본 연구 2011년 가정)전 후 이용자 구간통행시간은 일반열차 이용시에 비해 $70{\sim}100$분 이상 절감될 것으로 나타났으며, 1일 열차 총 수송수요의 증가로 인해 운영수입은 1억 3천여만원/일 증가할 것으로 예측되었다. 또한 새마을(디젤차량)을 KTX(전기차량)로 대체함에 따라 연간 이산화탄소 배출량이 $20{\sim}50%$수준으로 감소되어 보다 환경 친화적 효과가 클 것으로 기대된다. 단, 직결운행 수요를 위한 고가의 차량구입비용(본 연구에서는 KTXⅡ 도입 가정, 1조 3천여억원)과 연간 운영비용을 감안해 볼 때 운영자입장에서의 수익/비용분석결과는 매우 낮은 것으로(PI=0.54) 나타났다. 따라서, 보다 정확한 직결운행 도입 타당성을 객관적으로 검토하기 위해서는 차량구입 재원확보 방안 및 운행효율 극대화를 위한 제약조건 개선 등이 수반되어야 할 것이다.

도시부 도로상의 진출입부 접속형태 결정에 관한 연구 (Determination on Connection Type of Entrance/Exit on Urban Roads)

  • 도시의 토지이용은 지속적으로 고도화, 광역화 추세로 도로와 접한 주변 토지들은 다양한 용도의 시설물 건설과 함께 진출입부 접속도 증가하고 있다. 그러나 구체적인 진출입부 설치 기준이 없는 상황에서 부적절한 접속위치와 접속형태, 그리고 운영방식은 기존 가로 및 교차로의 교통 서비스수준을 악화시키고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 도시부 보조간선도로와 집산도로에 접속되는 진출입부의 교통상의 영향 최소화를 위해 첫째, 진출입부와 접한 도로·교통 환경을 고려하여 상·하류부 교차로의 대기행렬 길이와 진출입부에서 교차로간 차로변경에 필요한 소요길이를 재정립하여 기존 상·하류 교차로 사이에서 물리적으로 접속 가능한 진출입부 접속위치 및 접속형태 결정 기준을 제시하였다. 둘째, 진출입부 접속형태(신호교차로, 단순접속교차로)에 따른 좌회전차로와 가·감속차로의 교통시설 설치 비용과 진출입부 설치 전·후의 교통 비용의 차이인 부(-)의 사회적 비용을 통해 사업지 임계유발량을 산정한 후 주변 교차로 서비스수준과의 관계로부터 진출입부 운영방식을 정량적으로 결정할 수 있음을 제시하였다.

PS 강봉으로 일체화된 강합성 라멘교의 거더-교대 접합부에 대한 피로 성능 평가 (Fatigue Capacity Evaluation of the Girder-Abutment Connection for the Steel-Concrete Composite Rigid-Frame Bridge Integrated with PS Bar)

  • 교대 일체식 교량과 강합성 라멘교는 유지보수의 주된 원인이 되는 신축이음 및 받침이 생략되어 유지관리 및 구조적인 장점을 얻을 수 있는 교량 형식이다. 하지만, 통상적으로 거더를 교대에 매립하는 형태로 시공되는 접합부는 시공상세가 복잡하고 접합부의 시공상세를 간략화하여 시공효율을 향상시킨 새로운 교량 형식을 제안하였다. 제안된 형식의 교량은 PS 강봉에 긴장력을 도입하여 강재로 제작된 거더와 교대를 일체화하는 형태의 교량이다. 이 연구에서는 PS 강봉으로 일체화된 접합부의 피로 성능을 평가하기 위하여 접합부에 대한 유한요소해석 및 피로실험을 실시하였다. 유한요소해석 결과, 제안된 교량의 접합부는 기본적으로 피로에 의한 손상의 가능성이 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났으며, 피로시험 결과로부터 2,000,000회의 피로반복하중이 재하된 상태에서도 접합부의 일체화 성능을 유지하고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

3D finite element modelling of composite connection of RCS frame subjected to cyclic loading

  • Composite special moment frame is one of the systems that are utilized in areas with low to high seismicity to deal with earthquake forces. Composite moment frames are composed of reinforced concrete columns (RC) and steel beams (S); therefore, the connection region is a combination of steel and concrete materials. In current study, a three dimensional finite element model of composite connections is developed. These connections are used in special composite moment frame, between reinforced concrete columns and steel beams (RCS). Finite element model is discussed as a most reliable and low cost method versus experimental procedures. Based on a tested connection model by Cheng and Chen (2005), the finite element model has been developed under cyclic loading and is verified with experimental results. A good agreement between finite element model and experimental results was observed. The connection configuration contains Face Bearing Plates (FBPs), Steel Band Plates (SBPs) enveloping around the RC column just above and below the steel beam. Longitudinal column bars pass through the connection with square ties around them. The finite element model represented a stable response up to the first cycles equal to 4.0% drift, with moderately pinched hysteresis loops and then showed a significant buckling in upper flange of beam, as the in test model.

협업공학 기반의 제품개발 지원 시스템 (A Collaborative Engineering Based System Supporting Product Development Process)

  • In order to keep and increase a competitive potential, industrial enterprises have to reduce their costs for product development as well as shorten lead time in product development processes. Moreover they have to respond to market factors and conditions such as increasing demands for functionality and individuality of products, short product life cycles, high pressure on prices and time to market. The improved functional requirement in connection with high time and cost pressure lead to high risk in product development. Technological fine improvements in connection with high time and cost pressure lead to high development risk. To cope with these challenges many enterprises have to collaborate globally. The collaborative engineering in product development is aimed to create distributed collaborative corporations and to facilitate the management of design conflicts. This paper provides a methodology for analyzing collaborative design process as well as the tools and the framework to support collaborative product development. The methodology can identify the interdependences among design tasks and teams. The tools and framework are implemented to facilitate the management of product development process.

ATM 망에서 동적 멀티캐스트 루팅 알고리즘 (A dynamic multicast routing algorithm in ATM networks)

  • In this paepr, we propose a dynamic multicast routin algorithm for constructing the delay-constrained minimal spanning tree in the VP-based ATM networks, in which we consider the effiiciency enen in the case wheree the destination dynamically joins/departs the multicast connection. For constructing the delay-constrained spanning tree, we frist generate a reduced network consisting of only VCX nodes from a given ATM network, originally consisting of VPX/VCX nodes. Then, we obtain the delay-constrained spanning tree with a minimal tree cost on the reduced network by using our proposed heuristic algorithm. Through numerical examples, we show that our dynamic multicast routing algorithm can provide an efficient usage of network resources when the membership nodes frequently changes during the lifetime of a multicast connection. We also demonstrate the more cost-saving can be expected in dense networks when applyingour proposed algorithm.

  • The previous MCC's have the demerits of high cost and much manhour for rework because they are impossible for the standardization of products and have many manual connections. The customers require the products which can operate in connection with SCADA system by digitalizing the functions of the current MCC's and are systematized with capability of remote control. To solve these disadvantages and requirements, we developed the Electronic Motor Control System according to starting type for applying to fields based on this. This system has the various functions such as protection, measurement, and communication. Using these functions, it can monitor motor status through communication with the upper system and define the circuit for lower connection cost according to starting type and shorter manufacture period by program. The development of this product results in establishment of competitive structure with domestic competition and perfect automatic monitoring through linkage with SCADA system. In addition, it provides the comparable dominancy of receiving on orders in switch gear and adaptability to change of MCC market in Japan and Europe.

최적신뢰성에 의한 강구조물의 강접합부 연구 (A Study On Optimum Reliability of Rigid Connection in Steel Structures)

  • In this study, three most distinct types of general rigid connections are included in the modelling, with is implemented into a computer code. The cost, functions of connections are constructed by using the estimated unit cost of bolting, welding and connection-steel elements incorporating all the effect of materials, labor, and fabrication work. Bused on the recent developments of the reliability-based structural analysis and design as well as the extending knowledge on the probabilistic characteristics of load and resistances, the probability based design criteria have been successfully developed for many standards. Since the probabilistic characteristics depend highly on the local load and resistances, it is recognized to develop the design criterion compatible with domestic requirements. The existing optimum design methods, which are generally based on the structural theory and certain engineering experience, do not realistically consider the uncertainties of load and resistances and the basic reliability concepts.

New approach to dynamic load balancing in software-defined network-based data centers

  • Critical issues such as connection congestion, long transmission delay, and packet loss become even worse during epidemic, disaster, and so on. In this study, a link load balancing method is proposed to address these issues on the data plane, a plane of the software-defined network (SDN) architecture. These problems are NP-complete, so a meta-heuristic approach, discrete particle swarm optimization, is used with a novel hybrid cost function. The superiority of the proposed method over existing methods in the literature is that it provides link and switch load balancing simultaneously. The goal is to choose a path that minimizes the connection load between the source and destination in multipath SDNs. Furthermore, the proposed work is dynamic, so selected paths are regularly updated. Simulation results prove that with the proposed method, streams reach the target with minimum time, no loss, low power consumption, and low memory usage.

회피비용을 고려한 EGEAS 모형 개발과 전원개발계획의 최적화 (A Modified EGEAS Model with Avoided Cost and the Optimization of Generation Expansion Plan)

  • Pubilc utility industries including the electric utility industry are facing a new stream of privatization com-petition with the private sector and deregulation. The necewssity to solve now and in the future power supply and demand problems has been increasing through the sophisticated generation expansion plan(GEP) approach con-sidering not only KEPCo's supply-side resources but also outside resources such as non-utility generation(NUG) demand-side management (DSM). Under the environmental situation in the current electric utility industry a new approach is needed to acquire multiple resources competitively. This study presents the development of a modified electric generation expansion analysis system(EGEAS) model with avoided cost based on the existing EGEAS model which is a dynamic program to develope an optimal generation expansion plan for the electric utility. We are trying to find optimal GEP in Korea's case using our modified model and observe the difference for the level of reliabilities such as the reserve margin(RM) loss of load probability(LOLP) and expected unserved energy percent(EUEP) between the existing EGEAS model and our model. In addition we are trying to calculate avoided cost for NUG resources which is a criterion to evaluate herem and test possibility of connection calculation of avoided cost with GEP implementation using our modified model. The results of our case study are as follows. First we were able to find that the generation expansion plan and reliability measures were largely influenced by capacity size and loading status of NUG resources, Second we were able to find that avoided cost which are criteria to evaluate NUG resources could be calculated by using our modified EGEAS model with avoided cost. We also note that avoided costs were calculated by our model in connection with generation expansion plans.
