슈퍼 컴퓨터의 등장으로 기존에는 풀지 못했던 과학적, 학술적인 문제들이 대부분 해결되었지만 슈퍼 컴퓨터 자체의 막대한 비용 문제는 여전히 풀지 못한 숙제로 남아 있다. 이에 일반 사용자의 컴퓨터의 유휴 자원을 통합하여 협업하는 그리드 컴퓨팅이라는 개념이 등장하였다. 한편 분산되어 있는 이기종의 시스템의 자원을 통합하여 관리하기 위해서 연결 지향적인 프로토콜들이 사용되었지만, 다른 프로토콜끼리는 호환성이 없는 등의 문제가 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 플랫폼 독립적인 XML 기반의 SOAP을 사용하는 웹 서비스를 이용하여 그리드 네트워크의 성능 정보를 관리해주는 시스템을 제안한다.

This paper describes a new ac-to-dc power converter using a multilevel converter. A conventional multilevel ac-to-dc converter has large output dc filter capacitors. When a short circuit happens in a load, the stored energy in the capacitors should be discharged through the load with a high short circuit current. The high current may cause considerable damage to the capacitors and the load. The output dc capacitors of the proposed converter do not discharge even under load short circuit condition. In the case of a load short circuit, the capacitors become a floating state immediately and remain in the state. Then the stored capacitor energy is supplied to the load again as soon as the short circuit has been cleared. Therefore, the rising time of the load voltage can be significantly reduced. This feature satisfies the requirement of a power supply for a load with frequent short circuits. The proposed converter has the characteristics of a simplified structure, a reduced cost, weight, and volume compared with conventional power supplies with frequent output short circuits. Experimental results are presented to verify the usefulness of the proposed converter.

Urban public service is goods and activities which satisfy public demands for the political, social, economic, cultural activity and household affairs of individual or groups and which urban government supply with free of charge. In view of government, in addition to fairness of facilities location, location of such facilities are to be determined the respect to cost of locating facilities and developmental direction in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to study on feasibility. A feasibility study Is an effective tool in determining the decision of investment or not and the level of investment priority on Projects requiring a sizeable investment and the feasibility of a project. The first, it is to select reasonable location. It was selected four and two by consideration of facilities distribution and connection with others. Six proposal selected was estimated by five element of approach, demand, symbol, reality, environment. In result proposal I was chosen. The next, it is to estimate scales. The finally, it is to study on economical efficiency. Net Present Value was came out ￦4.4billion by 20years and Inter Rate of Return showed up 11%. in addition, it offer various benefit by public facilities. In conclusion, this project is reasonable.

The healthcare business is growing as a global core business because of the phenomenon of global aging, as well as in South Korea, skyrocketing health care costs accordingly, and changing the paradigm from treatment to the prevention-centered medical service. Especially, as the digital healthcare service stands out as a solution, major countries actively promote and support policies at the government level. Thus, this study will present attributes of a market-oriented service that would vitalize the digital healthcare service industry by investigating major attributes of the digital healthcare service. To analyze the relationships of the influences of attributes, this study used Interpretive Structural Modeling. As a result of literature research and ISM, this study can understand the eight basic attributes of the digital healthcare service (network scalability, context awareness, connection among information platforms, cost, trust, security, ease of use, usefulness) and analyze the relationships of the influences among the attributes. In addition, as this study finds some significant differences in Order Winner and Order Qualifier between the experts' group (security) and the users' group (trust, ease of use, usefulness), It provides meaningful implications for revitalization and promotion of digital healthcare service industry.

노후 고층아파트의 재고 확대로 이에 대한 대안으로 재건축과 리모델링이 제시되었다. 재건축사업은 물리적인 노후화보다 기능적, 사회적, 경제적 노후화를 이유로 실시되어 주택의 조기 멸실에 따른 사회적 비용 증대 등 여러 가지 문제점이 제시되었다. 이에 재건축에 대한 규제는 강화되고 리모델링 관련 제도가 개선될 예정이다. 리모델링 사업의 경제성 분석에 대한 기존의 연구가 강남과 잠실 등 개발이익이 큰 곳에 편중되어 있었다. 본 연구에서는 비도심지 아파트 소유자의 입장에서 재건축과 리모델링 시 경제성 검토에 대한 하나의 안을 제시해보고자 한다.

D-TRS is a method of wireless communication. This method will be able to use several frequency for multiple user used chanel together. TETRA of D-TRS technology is not rented network. Using TETRA network has the strong point which cost better than CDMA network of rental network. Master server of SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system is realtime supervise control and a data acquire the control system or the RTU(Remote Terminal Unit). The present paper is developed and proposal the gateway platform for electronic power backbone network based on D-TRS. This gateway platform is converted DNP3.0 messages with TETRA PDU and converted TETRA PDU with DNP3.0 messages. Master server and FRTU will be able to send and receive DNP3.0 message via TETRA network using this gateway platform.

Now we are facing severe environmental issues such as global warming. Due to these, the concerns about eco-friendly energy have been increased. Kyoto protocol and Copenhagen climate change conference are circumstantial evidence of it. With these trends, the interests for the Electric Vehicles(EVs) which do not emit any harmful gases have gradually been raised. Unfortunately, however, massive connection of EVs to the power system could cause negative impacts such as voltage variations, frequency variations and increase of demand power. To prevent the mentioned issues, KEPCO adopts Time-of-Use(ToU) price for EVs charging. Nevertheless, it is important to verify the propriety of the charging system. In this paper, therefore, we used pre-introduced price elasticity concept to predict possible Demand Response(DR) on charging of EVs. And analyzed possible demand power increase according to various price elasticities. Simulation results show that given ToU based charging system would not enough to control the increase of demand power by EVs on the power system. It is concluded, therefore, additional methods and/or algorithms are required.

This study is on Buckminster Fuller, who is generally known as a structure engineering architect, and his influences. Fuller's radical and utopian ideas and designs were regarded as 'paper architecture'. But considering today's high cost of energy and the limited natural resources, Fuller's Dymaxion theory must be re-evaluated. Fuller's influences on the contemporary architecture are summarized as follows. 1) His idea of controlling the environment through the use of technology influenced today's 'High-Tech' architects. Architecture is no-longer designed purely by its formal character, but becomes a tool of investigating environmental significance of modern technology. 2) Through systemizing mechanical equipment, Dymaxion House prototype, and aggregation of high-tech mechanical equipments, influenced Archigram & Metabolist's capsule idea. It is expressed as a plug-in module equipment of 'High-Tech' architecture which has flexible interior with mechanical exterior image. 3) Megastructure. The Manhattan dome project gave an influence to many engineer/architects who tried to achieve an ideal artificial environment. This is in connection to 1960's utopian projects. Today's megastructures show new possibilities in urbanism and architecture. Fuller's comprehensive idea of humans living in harmony in the universe shows possibilities not only in structural engineering, but in solving various problems that confront today's architecture.

We consider the ATM switching node location problem (ANLP). In this problem, there are two kinds of facilities, hub facilities and remote facilities, with different capacities and installation costs. We are given a set of customers with each demand requirements, a set of candidate installation sites of facilities, and connection costs between facilities. We need to determine the locations to place facilities, the number of facilities for each selected location, the set of customers who are connected to each installed hub via installed remote facilities with minimum cost, while satisfying demand requirements of each customer. We formulate this problem as a general integer programming problem and solve it to optimality. In this paper, we present a preprocessing procedure to tighten the formulation and develop a branch-and-price algorithm. In the algorithm, we consider the integer knapsack problem as the column generation problem. Computational experiments show that the algorithm gives optimal solutions in a reasonable time.

This paper surveyed the theoretical backgrounds of digital library. Its definition and function and case studies, and basic skills for system construction of digital library were suggested. The differences between the traditional library and the digital library were compared. And the conditions that should be take into consideration of digital library construction were suggested. Suggestions are summarized as follows : 1. For the construction of digital library, library collection should be digitalized by using CD-ROM and commercial online services. 2. The digitalization of library collection should be planned by subject sharing between the libraries. For the control of this cooperation, the orgnization to propel the digitalization should be established. And it is necessary to enact the standards for the digital library. 3. The connection between MARC formatted bibliographic database and full-text should be studied. 4. All the types of information about texts, pictures, sounds and if films should be also digitalized. 5. To satisfy the needs of many users, we have to establish the various users's interface which is fitted for several kinds of users. 6. When a digital library was constructed, the copyright and resources sharing must be guranteed depending on the cost of database's usage. 7. Because the digitalization of library will be related to the various kinds of libraries, the interface for resources sharing will be constantly concerned. 8. The sharing of information resources between the libraries will be enacted on the Internet. And we must be interested in various internet tools such as telecommunication softwares, media convert programs, etc. 9. By training staffs continously, all libraries must be ready to come the library in the future.
