Traffic Flow Assessment with the Fuzziness of Drivers Driving Speed Attitude (운전자의 주행속도의식의 퍼지성을 고려한 교통류 평가법)

  • This study proposed a method of accessment for traffic flow on roads based on the driver's decision making. In order to, an attempt is carried out to express driving speeds through driver's congnitive language theoretically and experimentally. Membership function is derived to express driver's congnitive language about driving speed through a fuzzy set theory and examines the applicability for speed evaluation. As a resul, the membership function of the recognized as medium by drivers almost agrees with the frequency distribution of speeds on roads constrtained at 50km/h.

Korean Kindergarten Teachers' Verbal Questions and Children's Verbal Responses during Group Time (그룹시간에 있어서의 한국 유치원 교사들의 질문양식과 유치원 아동들의 반응양식에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 그룹시간 동안의 한국 유치원 교사들의 질문양식과 유치원 아동들의 반응양식을 조사한 것이다. 본 연구를 위해서 12명의 유치원 교사와 중산층 가정에서 온 아동들이 12집단(남아 : 211명, 여아 : 176명) 참가했다. 비디오를 통해서 12명의 교사들의 질문양식과 각 집단의 아동들의 반응양식이 각각 3번씩 그룹시간의 처음 15분 동안 녹음되었다. 본 연구의 측정도구로서는 Aschner-Gallagher의 분류법이 사용되었고 통계분석방법은 Chi-square tests가 사용되었다. 또 교사들과 아동들의 연령 및 정보 등을 조사하기 위해서 교사들에게 질문지가 주어졌다. 본 연구의 결과는 교사들 사이에서 사용된 질문의 수준은 차이가 있었다는 것을 보여 주었다. (1) 교사들의 Congnitive Memory 질문을 가장 많이 사용했고 Evaluative 질문을 가장 적게 사용했다. (2) Congnitive Memory 질문을 가장 많이 사용한 교사들이 있는 반면에 Routine 질문을 가장 많이 사용한 교사들이 있었다. (3) Convergent 질문을 많이 사용한 교사들과 거의 사용하지 않은 교사들이 있었다. (4) Evaluative 질문 또는 Divergent 질문을 전혀 사용하지 않은 교사들이 있었다.

  • To gain insight into the etiological mechanism of dementia and to develop clinically effective congnitive enhancers, it is required to prepare animal models with symptoms and mechanism resemble to that in human. Dementia is mainly classified into two types : senile type of Alzheimer's disease (STAD) and cerebral ischemia-induced one. As animal models of cerebral ischemia, a couple of types in rats have been introduced : one is the occlusion of bilateral carotid arteries-induced forebrain/global ischemia and the other is the occlusion of middle cerebral arteries-induced focal/regional ischemia.

  • The exploration of Mathematics-learningmodel on the basis of Cognitive development The purpose of this paper is to sequenctialize Mathematics-learning contents, and to explore teaching-learning model for mathematics, with on the basis of the theory of cognitive development and the period of condservation formation for children. The Specific topics are as follows: (1) Systemizing those theories of cognitive development which are related to Mathematics - learning for children. (2) Organizing a sequence of Mathematics - learning, on the basis of experimental research for the period of conservation formation for children. (3) Comparing the effects of 4 types of teaching - learning model, on the basis of inference activity and operational learning principle. $\circled1$ Induction-operation(IO) $\circled2$ Induction-explanation(IE) $\circled3$ Deduction-operation(DO) $\circled4$ Deduction-explanation(DE) The results of the subjects are as follows: (1) Cognitive development theory and Mathe-matics education. $\circled1$ Congnitive development can be achieved by constant space and Mathematics know-ledge is obtained by the interaction of experience and reason. $\circled2$ The stages of congnitive development for children form a hierarchical system, its function has a continuity and acts orderly. Therefore we need to apply cognitive development for children to teach mathematics systematically and orderly. (2) Sequence of mathematical concepts. $\circled1$ The learning effect of mathematical concepts occurs when this coincides with the period of conservation formation for children. $\circled2$ Mathematics Curriculum of Elementary Schools in Korea matches with the experimental research about the period of Piaget's conservation formation. (3) Exploration of a teaching-learning model for mathematics. $\circled1$ Mathematics learning is to be centered on learning by experience such as observation, operation, experiment and actual measurement. $\circled2$ Mathematical learning has better results in from inductional inference rather than deductional inference, and from operational inference rather than explanatory inference.

  • This study aims to define the isochronism of English feet. To assess the average value of moras of a foot, the study is, first, to set up a way of counting the number of the moras on the extrametricality with some modifications. Secondly, with the measurement of the average duration of feet of Shakespeare's 120 sonnets through Praat (version 4.030, 2002), it clarifies the foot isochronism in English. With the two ways of measuring the isochronism, it clarifies the fact the foot isochronism permits the difference scope of $2.2{\mu}'s$ (moras) to $1.8{\mu}'s$, that is, $22{\mu}'s$ to $18{\mu}'s$ per line, while the acoustic assessment shows the isochronically congnitive gap of 302-447msec. per foot, or 4,461msec. to 3,019msec. per line in case of iambic pentameter in English poetry.

  • 무인자율항체는 자동차, 선박, 잠수함과 같이 인간에 의해 직접 조종되는 유인항체에 인간의 역할을 대신할 수 있는 지능시스템을 배치하여 전체적 혹은 부분적으로 무인화한 이동체를 말한다. 무인자율항체에서 사용되는 소프트웨어는 인식, 사고, 행위와 같은 인간의 지적능력을 내포한 인공지능시스템이어야 한다. 자율무인잠수정, 자율운항선박과 같은 저속무인자율항체는 무인항공기나 무인차량과 같이 빠른 판단과 제어가 요구되는 지능제어시스템과는 다른 특성을 가진다. 저속무인자율항체에서 가장 주목되는 특성은 주위 환경 변화속도와 운항속도에 따른 긴박감의 차이이다. 고속자율항체에서는 제어시스템의 처리속도에, 저속자율항체에서는 제어시스템의 신뢰성에 비중을 둔다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 저속무인자율항체의 특성과 기능별 독립성 보장, 반응형 및 인식형 인공지능 기법의 융화 극대화에 촛점을 맞춘 RVC(Reactive Layer-Virtual World-Congnitive Layer) 지능시스템 모델을 제안한다.

A Study on the Physical function, Cognitive Performance and the Depression of the Elderly Persons (노인의 신체기능, 인지기능 및 우울정도에 관한 연구)

  • The physical function. congnitive performance and the depression of the elderly persons of over 60 years in Pusan Kyungnam Province are studied. For the survey, prepared is a questionnaire which includes 14 items for the physical function, 8 items for the cognitive performance and 12 items for the depression. totaling 34 items. The interactions of the items of each category are analyzed in terms of daily life performances. The results show that. the elders have the problems in cognitive performance rather than the physical function or depression, and there are great variances depending on the individual's background.

The influence of fathers' childrearing participation and their recognition about child care situation on fathers' satisfaction with nonparental child care (아버지의 자녀양육참여도와 자녀의 보육상황에 대한 보육지도가 아버지의 보육만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study explored the effect of fathers' childrearing participation and their recognition about child care situation on fathers' satisfaction with nonparental child care. The results of this study are as follows: First fathers who had finished college education whose family had more family income and whose wives had jobs were more participated in childrearing practice than fathers who had finished high school whose family had less family income and whose wives had no job, Second when childre's age were over 5 years fathers tended to recognize about child care situation. That is fathers whose children were over 5 years old more recognized about how caregivers took care for children's congnitive development and were more satisfied with educational materials of child care centers than fathers whose children were less 5 years old. Third fathers' recognition about child care situation were found to mediate the relationship between fathers' childrearing participation and fathers' satisfaction with nonparental child care.

Cooperative Diversity in a Spectrum Sharing Environment

  • In this paper, we investigate cooperative diversity in a spectrum sharing environment where secondary users utilize primary users' spectrum only if the interference power received at the primary users is maintained below a predetermined level. The outage probability of a selective decode-and-forward (DF) based cooperative diversity scheme in the secondary network is derived to analyze the effects of spectrum sharing on cooperative diversity. Our analytical and simulation results show that the outage probability is saturated at a certain level of transmit power of secondary users due to interference regulation, and, hence, cooperative diversity gains are lost. Through asymptotic analysis, we also identify the critical value of transmit SNR beyond which the outage probability is saturated.
