This paper describes CODEC based on hybrid interframe and BTVQ including CRC(Conditional Replenishment Coding) system and RLC(Run Length Coding) method. Based upon the algorithm described in this paper, a practical CODEC has been designed for video conference and video phone use at 54Kbps using an ADSP-2100 as a CPU.

In this paper, the three-dimensional magnetic field created by non-periodic magnet arrays is calculated analytically. The analytical expression of the magnetic field is derived by using a magnetic charge model. The influence of ferromagnetic boundaries is formulated with an image method. Finally, we compare the results determined by analytical calculations to those from a finite element simulation.

This paper describes the magnetic field analysis of wireless power transfer via magnetic resonant coupling. The wireless power transfer system for supplying power to electric vehicle is developed. The parameters of coil transfer system are simulated by the finite element method (FEM). Therefore the coil structure of power transfer system can be accurately analyzed. This paper deals with 3kW wireless transfer system.

영상회의 시스템과 같이 그룹의 멤버들이 서로 다른 지점에 위치하면서 실시간으로 대화하는 시스템을 실시간 분산 그룹웨어 시스템(real-time distributed groupware system)으로 정의한다. 회의 관리는 영상회의를 원하는 사용자가 네트웍 상에서 현재 열리고 있는 회의세션을 검색하거나, 새로운 회의세션을 생성하여 영상회의를 시작시키거나, 앞으로 열릴 회의세션을 예약하거나 등의 서비스를 제공한다. 여기서 회의세션의 의미는 분산된 시스템들과 그 시스템의 사용자들이 하나의 그룹을 형성하고, 그룹내에서 클라이언트와 서버 형식의 상호작용을 하도록 하는 연결 고리로 정의한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 서비스를 제공하는 회의 관리구조를 설계하였고, 앞으로 구현 및 확장을 할 예정이다.

This paper presents a brief review of flexible retaining structure and the most significant methods developed to predict their behavior on underground excavations. Some observations are made about the future directions that the design of retaining systems may take , as there are still some problems where uncertainity exists, in soil-structure interaction and evaluation of strength parameters etc. And also reviewed papers presented in 2002 Fall National Conference of KGS.

This paper report on experimental results of 5-level inverter by DC divided link voltage. We have alreday reported that DC divided link valtage comes to be able to reduse harmonic of out line voltage. So we tested whether DC divided link voltage can reduce harmonics in experimental setup. This paper shows simulation results and experimental results. And we confirmed that DC divided link voltage can also apply in experimental setup.

지난 5월 프랑스 리옹 수의과대학에서 수의학 교육에 대한 국제학술대회 (World Conference on Veterinary Education)가 개최되었다. 2011년은 세계 최초 수의학 교육기관인 리옹 수의과대학 설립 250주년을 기념하는 해로 그 의미를 더하는 자리였다. OIE(Office International des Epizooties)와 공동으로 개최된 이번 학술대회에서는 OIE Day 1 Competencies와 세계 각 수의과대학의 커리큘럼 개선 방안 등이 토론되었다. 모든 발표문을 요약할 수는 없으나, 본고에서 수의학 교육의 중요한 흐름 몇가지를 정리해 보고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 ITU-T 영상회의 프로토콜 표준안(H.323)에서 보안 프로토콜로 권고된 H.235를 기반으로 하여 사용자 인증, 비디오 및 오디오 데이터의 암호화, 암호키의 보호에 대하여 구현한다. 인증 방법으로는 패스워드 기반의 대칭키 암호 인증을 사용하고, 비디오 및 오디오 데이터의 암호화에 사용되는 암호키의 보호를 위해서는 DES와 Diffie-Hellman의 키 분배 방법을 사용한다. 또한, DES를 사용한 비디오 및 오디오 데이터의 암호화/복호화를 보여준다.

In this brief, Acoustic echo cancellation scheme is proposed to enhance the presence of multiple participants of hands-free voice and video conference. Synthetic stereo using head related transfer function and the stereo echo cancellation scheme are proposed. It is shown that the proposed synthetic stereo echo cancellation scheme is well performed by computer simulation.
