  • In the field of visual arts, the introduction of synthesis allowed us to express various expressions that were outside the constraints of time and space. Digital synthesis is constrained by realistic representation due to technical limitations. However, it is no exaggeration to say that after digital synthesis has been fully established, at least the limits of image representation through synthesis have almost disappeared. The existing research papers on composing are either technical studies on the production techniques, or the synthesis was mainly focused on the change of the space-time concept and meaning of the visual arts. I felt the need for research on. In addition, I felt the need to look back on the changes in my view of art. Therefore, in this paper, rather than dealing with the conceptual theory of the technical part or spatio-temporal extension, it is necessary to classify it as natural, heterogeneous, heterogeneous and natural according to the traits revealed in the artistic expression of art, And diversity.

  • This study aims to find whether the solutions for well-structured problems learned in school can be transferred to the moderately-structured problem and ill-structured problem. For these purpose, research questions were set up as follows: First, what are the patterns of changes in strategies used in solving the mathematics problems with different level of structuredness? Second, From the group using and not using proportion algorithm strategy in solving moderately-structured problem and ill-structured problem, what features were observed when they were solving that problems? Followings are the findings from this study. First, for the lower level of structuredness, the frequency of using multiplicative strategy was increased and frequency of proportion algorithm strategy use was decreased. Second, the students who used multiplicative strategies and proportion algorithm strategies to solve structured and ill-structured problems exhibited qualitative differences in the degree of understanding concept of ratio and proportion. This study has an important meaning in that it provided new direction for transfer and analogical problem solving study in mathematics education.

  • This study aims to content analysis of Library Classification System in the North Korean. Also This paper is analyze and overview to conceptual framework. Notational system. Principle of hierarchy in the North Korean's Library Classification System. Libraries usually arrange their collections according to the systematic structure of the library classification. A decimal point follows the third digit. After which division by ten continues to the specific degree of classification needed. This system is based on the social and communism thought. The libraries in the South and the North has different concepts, goals, information resources, classification system and the different ways of using them. Considering the practical aspects of the libraries and the reasons for their existence, they must structure the mutual cooperative system so as to minimize the shock when confronting the social changes, so-cold the national unification.

  • The objective of this study is to test the applicability of SLURP (Semi-distributed Land Use-based Runoff Process) on Soyanggang-dam watershed. SLURP model is a conceptual semi-distributed form model that can be used to examine irrigation plan and the effects of proposed changes in water management within a basin or to see what effects external factors such as climate change or changing land cover might have on various water users. Topographical parameters were derived from DEM using TOPAZ and SLURPAZ. Monthly NDVIs were calculated from multi-temporal NOAA/AVHRR images during four years (1998 ∼ 2001). Weather elements (dew-point temperature, solar radiation, maximum/minimum temperature and relative humidify) were obtained from five meteorological stations within and near the study area. To simulate daily hydrograph during 1998 ∼ 2001, the model parameters of each land cover class were optimized by sensitivity analysis and SCE-UA method. Test result of SLURP was summarized by various statistics method (WMO volume error, Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency, mean error and coefficient of variation).

  • The purpose of this paper is to improve the service tree analysis introduced recently by Geum et al. [15]. Service tree analysis structures the service based on the customer participation perspective and provides a qualitative analysis method categorizing the service elements on the basis of its impact to top service. This paper attempts to apply the concept of reliability importance to the service tree analysis as a perspective of quantitative analysis, which is considered little in Geum et al. [15]. Reliability importance is a measure of the structural impact of the components that make up the system on the system lifetime in reliability engineering field and often used in fault tree analysis. We transform the reliability importance into service importance in accordance with service tree analysis, so that the influence of service elements on the service can be judged and compared. The service importance is defined as the amount of change of the service according to the change of the service element, therefore, it can be utilized as an index for determining a service element for service improvement. In addition, as an index for paired service elements, the relationship between the two service components can be measured by joint service importance. This paper introduces conceptual changes in the process of applying reliability importance to service analysis, and shows how to use the service importance for identifying the priority of service element for the final service and improving customer satisfaction through an example. By using the service importance and joint service importance in service tree analysis, it is possible to make efficient decision making in the process of determining the service elements for analyzing and improving the service.

  • Beyond simple transfer of information through sensor network, this study will provide the insights about the way to embody the real context aware location based service in an ubiquitous computing environment. In this paper, a new formal approach is introduced to derive knowledge about the scope of influence for a point object. A scope of influence is defined as the conceptual area where there is a possibility of the phenomenon or event occurring because of this point object. A point object can be spatially extended by considering this scope of influence in conjunction with the point. These point objects are called Spatially Extended Point (SEP) objects. Compositions of gradual changes of topological relations between a SEP and the environment near the SEP show how to represent the qualitative spatial behaviors of a SEP objects. These qualitative spatial behaviors will be good standards for Location Based Service (LBS) to provide more subdivided and suitable information to the users.

  • In 1944 Hans Asperger reported odd bizzare 400 children who showed autism like clinical symptoms but had higher intelligence and relatively intact speech function. He named these child 'autistic psychopathy'. Since them there were many controversial views about this syndrome. Some regards Asperger syndrome as the high functioning autism variant or preschizophrenic childhood condition or childhood form of schizoid personality disorder. Though there were still many controversy, recently ICD-10, DSM-IV accepted Asperger's syndrome as a distinct subtype of pervasive developmental disorder. The authors reviewed the history and conceptual changes of Asperger syndrome and summarized the interesting recent research findings. In addition, the authors argue that this syndrome has some linkage with autism and schizoid personality disorder and proposed that these is disorders do have common defect in social instinctual development.

  • To respond to the announcement of the revised version of science curriculum early this year, it has been necessary to develop new science textbooks which can be appropriate and effective to achieve the goals of the revised curriculum. The system of new textbooks needs to embrace the concerns of cognitive development in scientific knowledge, skills, and attitudes as well as social and cultural demands in the rapidly changing society. To develop an innovative framework of science textbooks, we examined previous studies on textbook analysis in Korea and analyzed science textbooks in the United States, Singapore, and Japan. We analyzed various ways of introducing and developing conceptual knowledge, leading scientific inquiry skills and process, enhancing scientific attitudes toward science, technology, society and the environment in those science textbooks. In the process of framing the structures of textbooks, we focused on ways of increasing educational effects of visualized texts, leaners' interest, user-friendly procedure, scientific inquiry, effectiveness of hands-on activities, scientific reading and writing skills, and usage of workbook. Based on those aspects and analyses of textbooks, we attempted to propose a feasible framework of Grade $3{\sim}4$ Science textbook which can effectively respond to the educational changes and demands in the local and global society.

  • This research has dual purposes. First, it was designed to determine the level of children's spatial environment in the residences, thereby, to make a vision for children's furniture as an industrial design product. Second, it was intened to find out the children's perceptual pattern toward the furniture, thereby to give some implications for future design development. For the second purpose, descriptors were screened with construct validity and their factor structure was identified. The subjects were 1,197 children from 1st grade of elemantary school through 3rd grade of middle school, and their 1,197 parents for the first purpose, and 560 children from 6th grades of elemantary school and 3rd grade of middle school for the second purpose. The first parts of findings were 1) present interests of parents of household above middle income level in Seoul in making their children's spatial environment desirable is quite high. 2) Space segregation stage in terms of physical and conceptual aspects showed very fast development, that is, there will have been very good changes for children's room to be a very well furnished and independent space for them. 3) Children's opinions were quite well reflected when purchasing the present furniture, and this tendency seemed to be more likely happend in future. These findings mentioned above gave and confirmed the visions for future children's furnished environment. The second parts of findings were such that the perceptual pattern for furniture by children showed aesthetic design appearance, functionality and durability, and the characteristic of line. This result impliated especially that designers should be every careful to manipulate or use the line of the furniture products. The 22 representative descriptors selected can be used as an evaluation instrument for furniture products.

  • Various researches and practices on asset management and asset-based mapping have been done with regard to engineering, industry, business and stocks marketing areas. Their notions and concepts are differently interpreted in response to different requirements. There are considerable research outcomes of management, operation and maintenance for physical, natural and digital assets. However, existing concept of asset management might have limitations to deal with diverse tangible or intangible assets at the individual/household/community level. In this paper, a conceptual framework of Hexad asset model is designed to explicate increase, decrease and other changes of assets flows as a geometric pathway. Particularly, consideration of lands and housing as important physical and natural assets to escape poverty not only leads to creation of an excellent 3D digital asset management, but also reaches to a new approach to asset-based mapping for a poverty information management and system.
