Traffic specification plays a crucial role in the resource reservation for video services over the packet-switching networks. The current development of QoS-guaranteed service still leaves a wide space for the selection of traffic specification. We propose a new method to estimate the traffic specification of variable-bit-rate (VBR) video for deterministic service. The method is based on the concept of empirical envelope and the delay bound. The solution shows to be simple yet it provides excellent network utilization.

Under sustained load, the stress variation occurs due to creep and shrinkage of concrete on the sections of steel-concrete composite girders. In standard specification for highway bridge, the method of stress estimation considering time effects is based on the concept of Yassumi method. In this study, comparing the analysis results using the AEMM and Yassumii method long-term behaviors, the rationality of specified requirements is checked.

Competition in telecommunications field brings about change in attitudes toward technology development. It is no longer the case that technology development itself has merits but that technology development should be considered in terms of its economic concepts such as the cost-effectiveness concept. Techno-Economic study intend to incorporate the idea of economic efficiency into technology development and management so that economic potential of technologies is maximized. This paper categorizes the contents of techno-economic study in telecommunications and information technologies and suggests a framework of techno-economic study based on technology lifecycle and decision makers.

Control technology has been making remarkable progress in electrical control (E), instrumentation & control (I) and computer control (C) field respectively. In order to rationalize system engineering and simplify system configuration and operation work, so called, EIC are now to be integrated into one system. FUJI has developed it's own E, I&C integrated system, to meet above mentioned market requirements of variety. This paper describes basic concept of FUJI's Integrated Man-Machine Interface, hereinafter called SINGLE CONSOLE, from some view points of E, I, C integration technology.

In recent, modeling methods for fluorescent lamp are developed well in both static and dynamic state. The models help reliable ballast to be developed in more fast time. This paper reviews the concept and method for well developed models, especially, circuit oriented models using PSpice.

An electroenzymatic system to oxidize veratryl alcohol of on electrodes with in-situ generated hydrogen peroxide was studied. We investigated hydrogen peroxide generation, current efficiency, and veratryl alcohol oxidation in the electrode system at various conditions. The reaction rates of veratryl alcohol oxidation were compared in an electrochemical, an electroenzymatic, and an usual biochemical systems to prove the concept of electroenzymatic oxidation.

본 논문은 Exponential histogram을 사용하여 데이터스트림에서 개념 변화를 검출 하는 기법을 제안한다. 스트림 데이터와 같이 빠르게 증가하는 데이터에 대한 개념 변화를 찾는 것은 중요 문제이다. 기존에 사용하던 슬라이딩 윈도우 기반의 방법들은 과거의 데이터를 버렸지만, 제안하는 방법은 과거의 데이터를 효율적으로 저장하며, 윈도우의 크기를 변경 할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 실험을 통해 제안하는 방법에 대한 효율성과 정확성을 보인다.

We could summerize the concept of the right and left mentioned in Nai-Gyung and some literature of oriental medicine as follow At first the right and left is a directional right and left which implys left-liver-right-lung(左肝右肺), left-yang-right-eum(左陽右陰), secondly it is also the road of eumyang which implys man-left-woman-right(男左女右), left-blood-right-ki(左血右氣), left-sinsu-right-myungmon(左腎水右命門), and left-right of pulse. left-liver-right-lung(左肝右肺), left-yang-right-eum(左陽右陰) and man-left-woman-right(男左女右) are expressions of the movement of yang which is a core of chang, at the same time, left-blood-right-ki(左血右氣), left-sinsu-right-myungmon(左腎水右命門), and left-right of pulse are expressions of the eum in response to the movement of yang. (go up and down of water and fire) Finally, both a directional right and left and a road of eumyang mean a road of going up and down of eumyang so, this is very important index in circulation and keeping ballance of eumyang (ki-Hyul:氣血) in the human body therefore, we can treat a disease with acupuncture in the use of this charater, for example when a disease occurs in the left side, we can treat it with acupuncture in the right side, the same applys to right.
