  • In these days, HIS(Hospital Information System) raise the quality of medical services by effective management of medical records. As computing environment was developed, it is possible to search information quickly. But, standard medical data exchange is not completed between medical clinic and another organ so far. In case of patient transfer, past medical record was not efficiently transmitted. It be feasible treatment delay or medical accident. It is trouble that medical records is transferred by a person and communicate with each other. Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a simple, very flexible text format derived from SGML. Originally designed to meet the challenges of large-scale electronic publishing, XML is also playing an increasingly important role in the exchange of a wide variety of data on the Web and elsewhere. Form in system of company product, relative organs that handle bio-signal data is each other dissimilar and integration and to transmit to supplement bottleneck this research uses XML. In this study, it is discussed about sharing of medical data using XML web technology to standard medical record between hospital and relative organization The data structure model was designed to manage bio-signal data and patient record. We experimented about data transmission and all-in-one between different systems (one make use of MS-SQL database system and the other manage existent bio-signal data in itself form in file in this research). In order to search and refer medical record, the web-based system was implemented. The system that can be shared medical data was tested to estimate the merits of XML. Implemented XML schema confirms data transmission between different data system and integration result.

  • One of the main chalenges in personal communication services (PCS) is to locate many mobile terminals that may move frequently from place to place. Such a system operation is called location management. Many network signaling traffic, and database queries are required to achieve such a task. Several strategies have been proposed to improve the efficiency of location management. These strategies use location register databases to store the current location on mobile terminals, and are vulnerable to failure of the location registers. In this paper, we propose a fault-tolerant pointer forwarding with distributed home location register (FT-RFDHLR) to tolerate the failure of location registers. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated by an analytical model, and is compared with thew pointer forwarding with the single home location register (PFSHLR), the pointer forwarding with distributed home location register (PFDHLR), Biaz's bypass forwarding strategy (BFS) and two-path forwarding strategy (TPFS).

  • The representation of a procedural program cannot be applied directly to object oriented program representation consisting of class, object, inheritance, and dynamic binding. Furthermore, preexisting program dependence represented the dependence among statements, but not among variables. That is, it could not solve the problem of which variables make an effect on given variables. Consequently, this study presents the method dependence model representing implementation level information including the dependence among variables in an object oriented program. I also propose implementation-based class testing technique based on the test adequacy criterion of an object-oriented program. Considering inter-data member dependences and a set of axioms for test data adequacy, it generates sequences of methods as test cases which satisfy a flow graph-based testing criterion. For a derived class testing, it considers inheritance relationship and the resuability of the testing information for its parent classes which verified the reduction of test cost through the experiment.

  • Geographic Information System(GIS) deal with data which can potentially be useful for a wida range of applications. However, the information needs of each application usually vary, specially in resolution, detail level, and representation style, as defined in the modeling phase of the geographic database design. To be able to deal with such diverse needs, the GIS must after features that allow multiple representations for each geographic entity of phenomenon. This paper addresses the problem of formal definition of the objects and their relationships on geographical information systems. The geographical data is divided in two main classes: geo-objects and geo-fields, which describe discrete and continuous representations of spatial reality. I will study the classes and the roles of relationships over geo-fields, geo-objects and nongeo-objects. Therefore, this paper will contribute the efficient design of geographical class hierarchy schema by means of formalizing attribute-domains of classes.

  • A complex network and a parallel computer are made up of interconnected switching units. The role of a switching unit is to set up a connection between an input port and an output port, according to the routing information. We proposed our switching network with a remodeled architecture is a newly modified Banyan network with eight input and output ports. We have analysed the maximum throughput of the revised switch. Our analyses have shown that under the uniform random traffic load, the FIFO discipline is limited to 70%, The switching system consists of an input control unit, a switch unit and an output control unit. Therefore the result of the analyses shows that the results of the networking simulation with the new switch are feasible and if we adopt the new architecture of the revised model of the Banyan switch, the hardware complexity can be reduced. The FIFO discipline has increased by about 11% when we compare the switching system with the input buffer system. We have designed and verified the switching system in VHDL using Max+plusII. We also designed our test environment including micro computers, the base station, and the proposed architecture. We proposed a new architecture of the Banyan switch for BISDN networks and parallel computers.

  • With the advancement and deployment of leading-edge telecommunication technologies for sensing and collecting, computing related information, Cloud of Things (CoTs) has emerged as a typical application platform that is envisioned to revolutionize the daily activities of human society, such as intelligent transportation, modern logistics, food safety, environmental monitoring, etc. To avoid any possible malicious attack and resource abuse, employing hash functions is widely recognized as one of the most effective approaches for CoTs to achieve message integrity and data authentication. The Whirlpool hash function has served as part of the joint ISO/IEC 10118-3 International Standard by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). In this paper, we propose an effective differential fault analysis on Whirlpool in the byte-oriented random fault model. The mathematical analysis and experimental results show that 8 random faults on average are required to obtain the current 512-bit message input of whirlpool and the secret key of HMAC-Whirlpool. Our work demonstrates that Whirlpool and HMAC-Whirlpool are both vulnerable to the single byte differential fault analysis. It provides a new reference for the security analysis of the same structure of the hash functions in the CoTs.

  • Ubiquitous is a Latin-derived word meaning "to exist at any time and place" like water or air. In computing, the word "ubiquitous" indicates an environment in which users have access to networks without any limitation regarding computer networks or places. Important issues in building Ubiquitous Korea (U-Korea) are the social problems appearing with a rapid increase in the old age population. Nowadays, with the rise of the nuclear family, the increase in the number of elderly people living alone, and the change in the status of women, both wives and husbands are employed outside the home, and the relatives who would be responsible for supporting the elderly sometimes are on long or short business trips, and it happens that old people can't be looked after. Therefore the government developed a wireless paging system for the sick, disabled, old and weak so that when an emergency happens, by just simply dialing 119, an emergency aid center could take prompt action. However, the present wireless paging systems composing the under-layer of the emergency aid information system have some problems, such as, a lack of reliability, problems among terminals, mobile transmitters and receiving terminals, the users' refusal to admit the need for the system and poor operational skills, administrators' perfunctory management and checks, etc. On account of these problems, the system efficiency has degraded and therefore a system upgrade is necessary. In this paper, we attempt to evaluate the newly implemented SAFE119 system, a new wireless paging system seeking to correct the problems of the current system.

  • Due to the wide expansion of the internet, people can freely get information what they want with lesser efforts. However without adequate forms or rules to follow, it is getting more and more difficult to get necessary information. Because of seemingly chaotic status of the current web environment, it is sometimes called "Dizzy web" The user should wander from page to page to get necessary information. Therefore we need to construct system which properly recommends appropriate information for general user. The representative research field for this system is called Recommendation System(RS), The collaborative recommendation system is one of the RS. It was known to perform better than the other systems. When we perform the web user modeling or other web-mining tasks, the continuous feedback data is very important and frequently used. In this paper, we propose a collaborative recommendation system which can deal with the continuous feedback data and tried to construct the web page prediction system. We use a sojourn time of a user as continuous feedback data and combine the traditional model-based algorithm framework with the Support Vector Regression technique. In our experiments, we show the accuracy of our system and the computing time of page prediction compared with Pearson's correlation algorithm.algorithm.
