  • In this paper we fabricated and succeeded to demonstrate a test panel for AMOLED on 2" glass and PET substrate. The test panel consisted of an array of 64 x 64 pixels in which OLEDs was driven by pentacene TFT. OTFTs were made of the inverted staggered structure and employed polyvinylphenol as the gate insulator and pentacene thin film as the active layer, producing the filed effect mobility of 0.3$cm^2$/V.sec and on/off current ratio of $10^5$. OLEDs were composed of TPD for HTL and Alq3 for EML with 35nm thick each, generating green monochrome light.

  • In this work, design considerations for high-performance silicon photodetector are thoroughly investi- gated. Besides the critical dimensions of device, guidelines for process architecture are suggested. Abiding by those criteria for improving both direct-current (DC) and alternating-current (AC) perfor- mances, a high-speed low-operation power silicon photodetector based on p-i-n structure for optical interconnect has been designed by device simulation. An $f_{-3dB}$ of 80 GHz at an operating voltage of 1 V was obtained.

  • Recently the wireless-internet has been spreading extensively. People are spending a large part of their time gaining access to information using a mobile device. With the rapid growth of on-line Electronic Commerce, the use of mobile devices creates a new paradigm that provides users with location-independent real time service. Although this new paradigm does have some advantages, limited process speed, low bandwidth, the low battery capacity of mobile devices, and a high rate of wireless network errors causes many overhead expenses during service time with the server. In this paper, we suggest an autonomous service delivery system, which provides mobile agent capability to users that cannot maintain a connection. We have developed the system based on java mobile agent technology. Using this system, we can provide more effective service to users when the user is sending requirements for service through a mobile device that has limited resources. Furthermore we can manage the contact server dynamically when new services are added.

  • Synchronous generators have been significantly applied in large-scale power plants and its monitoring systems are additionally established to sequentially observe states and outputs. We develop a computer based monitoring device for three-phase synchronous power generators in this paper. First, a test-bed of such generator system is created and then a interface board is constructed to transfer electric signals including the output voltage and the current from generators into a computer system via a data acquisition device. Its RMS(root-mean-square) values are continuously shown on a screen of computer systems and its time-histories graphs are additionally illustrated under a graphic user interface(GUI) mode. Lastly, we carry out real-time experiments using the generator system with the monitoring device to demonstrate its reliability and superiority by comparing results of a generic power analyzer which is well-used in measuring various power systems practically.

  • A large portion of the embedded system development process involves the integration of hardware and software. Unfortunately, communication across the hardware/software boundary is tedious and error-prone to create. This paper presents an automatic hardware/software interface generation system. As the front-end of hardware/software co-design frameworks, a system designer defines XML specifications for hardware functions. Our system generates hardware/software interfaces including Device Driver, Driver API, and Device Controller from these specifications. Embedded software designers can easily use hardware just like system libraries. Our system reduces the mistakes and errors that can be occurred when a software programmer directly connects software to hardware, and supports balancing labors between hardware developers and software programmers. Moreover, this system can be used as the back-end for a hardware/software co-design framework.

  • In this paper, we proposed an application which can conduct to take repetition images for special effect shooting at movies or drama using Bluetooth of smart device. The proposed application can move a camera with motors several times as the same moving after saving of the control data based on the application during specific time using Bluetooth. At the repetition moving, we do not permit to control motors of the camera by person for keeping the same start position and end position after saving the moving data. The camera motors are only moved remotely by saving data of the proposed application. We developed the proposed application and a hardware which works motors with camera to check performance evaluation. Then, we confirmed that the proposed application exactly did the same moving to the motors with camera several times according to saved data. Therefore, because the proposed application can take a same images as control remotely the motors of camera, it will be a useful technology for special effect shooting of movies or dramas.

  • In IoT(Internet of Things) environment, users want to receive customized service by users' personal device such as smart watch and pendant. To fulfill this requirement, the mobile device should support a lot of functions. However, the miniaturization of mobile devices is another requirement and has limitation such as tiny display. limited I/O, and less powerful processors. To solve this limitation problem and provide customized service to users, this paper proposes a collaboration system for sharing various computing resources. The paper also proposes the method for reasoning and recommending suitable resources to compose the user-requested service in small device with limited power on expected time. For this goal, our system adopts MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) to analyzes user's behavior pattern and recommends personalized resources based on the result of the analyzation. The evaluation in this paper shows that our approach not only reduces recommendation time but also increases user satisfaction with the result of recommendation.

  • Local anesthesia is administered to reduce pain during dental treatments, but may itself cause pain and contribute to increased dental fear. Computer-controlled local anesthetic delivery (CCLAD) is one the method to reduce patient pain during local anesthesia; it is a device that slowly administers anesthetics by using a computerized device to control the injection speed. This literature review aims to provide an objective assessment of the usefulness of CCLAD for controlling pain by reviewing papers published to date that have used CCLAD.

  • Recently, for safety of people, there are proposed so many technologies which detect density of people at the specific place or space. The representative technology for crowd density estimation was using image analysis method from CCTV images. However, this method had a weakness which could not be used and which's accuracy was lower at the dark or smog space. Therefore, in this paper, to solve this problem, we proposed a user density estimation system at closed space using high frequency and smart device. The system send inaudible high frequencies to smart devices and it count the smart devices which detect the high frequencies on the space. We tested real-time user density with the proposed system and ten smart devices to evaluate performance. According to the testing results, we confirmed that the proposed system's accuracy was 95% and it was very useful. Thus, because the proposed system could estimate about user density at specific space exactly, it could be useful technology for safety of people and measurement of space use state at indoor space.

  • John Carmack who invented the 3D games let us know about the great 3D world and because of the MIDP 2.0(Mobile Information Device Profilers entering, it is not a fame to achieve playing 3D games with a mobile device. The data offered by iResearch market consultation show that the figure of mobile game players all around the world will take a steady increase from 290 million in 2005 to 1030 million in 2008, and the market income will mount up from $10,200 million to $52.000 million.3D games will be a current, the most famous kind of mobile games. In this paper I design 3D application based on J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition) and implement a freely removable 3D object which happened in a 3D scene by receiving the keyboard response of mobile device with WTK (Wireless Too.Kit) simulator.
