  • Based on an ecological model of teacher agency, the purpose of this study was to examine the relevance of HE (home economics) subjects and CSE (comprehensive sexuality education) for HE teachers, and their implementation in HE classes. To achieve this, a survey was conducted with HE teachers nationwide for which 243 responses were collected, and interviews were conducted with five HE teachers who were actively practicing CSE. The results of the survey and interview were as follows. First, HE teachers strongly recognized the relevance of HE subjects and the topic of CSE with an average score of 4.63 (out of 5 points), and practiced CSE at an average of 72.23% (97.12%~43.21%) in their class. Second, based on the ecological approach model of teacher agency, the factors facilitating the CSE practice of HE teachers included: childbirth and parenting experienced as parents, experiences of students encountering sexual problems in school, the philosophy and content of HE subjects, positive feedback from students and support from fellow teachers, and intention to help students in their lives. Conversely, HE teachers cited a lack of sexual education experience as learners, complaints from parents, weakness of HE teacher networks, lack of specific statements in curriculum and textbooks, insufficient class content and teacher training, and lack of absolute class time. This study is significant in revealing that CSE is highly relevant to the contents of HE subjects and is already being practiced in HE classes.

  • Objectives : This paper examines the medical treatise and treatment methods of Zhang Jiebin on the depressive pattern, for clinical application today. Methods : The Zazhengmo/Yuzheng chapter of the Jingyue Quanshu, related texts and annotations of the Huangdineijing, and related contents among the medical texts of the JinYuan masters were analyzed. Developmental process of the medical theories were compared and examined. Results : Zhang focused on the mechanism in which emotion affects Qi leading to a disease state, and categorized Yu[鬱, depressed state] into three: anger depression, contemplative depression and comprehensive depression. The concept of the Five Depressive Patterns and its treatment from the Huangdineijing·Suwen which was considered as excess pattern was expanded to include deficiency pattern based on comparison with annotations of Wangbing, Hwashou, and Wang Andao. Treatment methods centered on purging was also expanded to include tonifying to restore the damaged Jing Qi. The depressive patterns anger depression, contemplative depression and comprehensive depression were subdivided according to excess and deficiency, for which formulas such as Shenxiangsan, Shoupijian, Guipitang were suggested. As the depressive pattern is caused by emotions and thus the Heart, the Yiqingbianqi method that directly deals with emotions was suggested. Zhang adopted Zhu Zhenheng's opinion which expands the category of Yu, and in the perspective of excess/deficiency, it is most similar to that of Li Dongyuan. Conclusions : Before Zhang, the depressive pattern was discussed in terms of it being excess pattern. However, Zhang's discussion on depressive pattern based on anger depression, contemplative depression and comprehensive depression focuses on emotional stagnation while suggesting the possibility of deficient stagnation, expanding previous understanding. In terms of treatment, tonifying methods for deficiency pattern was added, while consideration of emotion itself became necessary in treatment.

  • Monitoring water surface has become one of the most prominent areas of research in addressing environmental challenges.Accurate and automated detection of watersurface in remote sensing imagesis crucial for disaster prevention, urban planning, and water resource management, particularly for a country where water plays a vital role in human life. However, achieving precise detection poses challenges. Previous studies have explored different approaches, such as analyzing water indexes, like normalized difference water index (NDWI) derived from satellite imagery's visible or infrared bands and using k-means clustering analysis to identify land cover patterns and segment regions based on similar attributes. Nonetheless, challenges persist, notably distinguishing between waterspectralsignatures and cloud shadow or terrain shadow. In thisstudy, our objective is to enhance the precision of water surface detection by constructing a comprehensive water database (DB) using existing digital and land cover maps. This database serves as an initial assumption for automated water index analysis. We utilized 1:5,000 and 1:25,000 digital maps of Korea to extract water surface, specifically rivers, lakes, and reservoirs. Additionally, the 1:50,000 and 1:5,000 land cover maps of Korea aided in the extraction process. Our research demonstrates the effectiveness of utilizing a water DB product as our first approach for efficient water surface extraction from satellite images, complemented by our second and third approachesinvolving NDWI analysis and k-means analysis. The image segmentation and binary mask methods were employed for image analysis during the water extraction process. To evaluate the accuracy of our approach, we conducted two assessments using reference and ground truth data that we made during this research. Visual interpretation involved comparing our results with the global surface water (GSW) mask 60 m resolution, revealing significant improvements in quality and resolution. Additionally, accuracy assessment measures, including an overall accuracy of 90% and kappa values exceeding 0.8, further support the efficacy of our methodology. In conclusion, thisstudy'sresults demonstrate enhanced extraction quality and resolution. Through comprehensive assessment, our approach proves effective in achieving high accuracy in delineating watersurfaces from satellite images.

  • The ecological expression of art in modern society takes the harmonious developmental relationship between man and nature as an element and combines it with the various manifestations of painting as an expression of ecological artistic development. The necessary relationship for the harmonious development of nature is accurately articulated, and the ecological changes in people are expressed in integrated materials that inspire human reflection. In the pursuit of material pleasures, mankind is neglectful and indifferent to the environment. The development of composite painting in art and ecology is a process that more reveres the harmony between man and nature as well as satisfying the creative value of the work. After systematic evaluation and research, people have engaged in various structural forms of composite art painting development in the long history of art development, focusing on the integration of environmental and ecological culture. In the process of nature education going through development, the comprehensive practical development of nature education is enhanced and efforts are made to feel new ecological art ideas and new ways of valuing environmental protection. In this paper, an observational study of eco-art will be carried out, starting from the theory of hierarchical division and analyzing the contradictory relationship between man and nature. Recognize nature, understand it and feel it through eco-art painting. The analysis of the contradictory relationship between man and nature is combined with the identification of various types of information that give value to the environmental protection public, and the combination of ecological painting and nature art to achieve an upgrade of the environmental protection idea of the value of painting. In the development of artistic ecological comprehensive painting, it is necessary to put forward technical requirements and standards that meet the development of modern industry according to the characteristics and methods of ecological painting.
