Dynamic analysis of functionally graded nonlocal nanobeam with different porosity models

  • This article presented a nanoscale modified continuum model to investigate the free vibration of functionally graded (FG) porous nanobeam by using finite element method. The main novelty of this manuscript is presenting effects of four different porosity models on vibration behaviors of nonlocal nanobeam structure including size effect, that not be discussed before The proposed porosity models are, uniform porosity distribution, symmetric with mid-plane, bottom surface distribution and top surface distribution. The nano-scale effect is included in modified model by using the differential nonlocal continuum theory of Eringen that adding the length scale into the constitutive equations as a material parameter constant. The graded material is distributed through the beam thickness by a generalized power law function. The beam is simply supported, and it is assumed to be thin. Therefore, the kinematic assumptions of Euler-Bernoulli beam theory are held. The mathematical model is solved numerically using the finite element method. Results demonstrate effects of porosity type, material gradation, and nanoscale parameters on the free vibration of nanobeam. The proposed model is effective in vibration analysis of NEMS structure manufactured by porous functionally graded materials.

  • Hybrid material(ceramic+metal) processes were developed for micro filter using ceramics coating at metal filter surface by thermal spray method, micro hole drilling at ceramic coated filter surface by femtosecond laser, and fiber laser direct welding of ceramic and metal (SUS304, SM45C) by capillary effect. Thermal spray process was used for ceramic powders and metal filters. The used ceramic powders were $Al_2O_3+40TiO_2$(Metco 131VF) powder of maximum particle size $5{\mu}m$ and ${Al_2O_3}99+$(Metco 54NS) power of maximum particle size 45m. Ceramic coated filters using thermal spray method had a great influence on powder material, particle size and coating thickness but had a fine performance as a micro filter. CW fiber laser was used to drill the top ceramic layer and melt the bottom metal layer for joining applications.

  • Nano-sized gadolinium-doped ceria (GDC)/nickel particle-dispersed $La_ySr_{1-y}Ti_{1-x}Fe_xO_3$ (LSFTO)-based composite solid oxide fuel cell anodes were fabricated by an infiltration method and the effects of the GDC/Ni nanoparticles on the anode polarization resistance and cell performance were investigated in terms of the infiltration time and nickel content. The anodic polarization resistance of the LSFTO anode was significantly enhanced by GDC and/or Ni infiltration and it decreased with increasing infiltration time and Ni content, respectively. It is believed that the observed phenomena are associated with enhancement of the ionic conductivity and catalytic activity in the nanocomposite anodes by the addition of GDC and Ni. Power densities of cells with the LSFTO and LSFTO-GDC/Ni nanocomposite anodes were 150 and $300mW/cm^2$ at $800^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • Modern architecture is very Important part of korean architecture history. Because It's a role in terms of connecting traditional and current architecture and introduction of western architecture. Accordingly, At this meaninglessly going out and leaving of modern architecture, the purpose of this study is systematic researching of the modern Government Office interior. This study to research into the period context at construction of the modern Government Office and tendency of architecture and interior at that time. And understand interior space organization of it. The modern Government Office adopted Neo-Baroque style from tendency of that time. Also, showed composite order which is mixed In the Creek temple, the Renaissance and the classic style representing the power. But, after late 1920 It adopted Modern Style. This characteristic is different from current composit order, which is comprehended by our. In order to understand aesthetic value of current straight interior space, It have to be Interacted the present and past. But It's averted because it was made In the period of Japanese imperialism. Therefore, We should explore history of interior design that is endowed with sociality and historicity between modern and future interior space as well as current.

인간동력 항공기용 프로펠러 성능해석 (Propeller Performance Analysis for Human Powered Aircraft)

  • 프로펠러는 인간동력 항공기 추진시스템의 중요한 구성품이다. 높은 프로펠러 효율을 얻기 위하여 프로펠러는 큰 지름을 가지고 느리게 구동된다. 프로펠러는 인간동력 항공기용 프로펠러 설계 프로그램을 사용하여 설계되었다. 프로펠러의 피치는 지상에서 조정이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 여러 가지 변수에 대하여 설계에 사용된 동일한 프로그램을 통하여 프로펠러의 성능 해석을 수행하였다. 또한, 파일롯의 체력이나 비행속도의 변화에 따른 탈 설계점 해석도 수행하였다. 설계된 프로펠러는 카본 복합재의 초경량 구조로 제작되어 총 950g의 무게로 제작되었다. 제작된 프로펠러는 아이언 버드에서의 지상 성능 시험을 통하여 속도 및 동력을 측정하고 튜닝을 수행하여 실기에 장착되어 최종적으로 291 m 비행에 성공하였다.

Thermal post-buckling behavior of imperfect temperature-dependent sandwich FGM plates resting on Pasternak elastic foundation

  • In this paper, post-buckling behavior of sandwich plates with functionally graded (FG) face sheets under uniform temperature rise loading is examined based on both sinusoidal shear deformation theory and stress function. It is supposed that the sandwich plate is in contact with an elastic foundation during deformation, which acts in both compression and tension. Thermo-elastic non-homogeneous properties of FG layers change smoothly by the variation of power law within the thickness, and temperature dependency of material constituents is considered in the formulation. In the present development, Von Karman nonlinearity and initial geometrical imperfection of sandwich plate are also taken into account. By employing Galerkin method, analytical solutions of thermal buckling and post-buckling equilibrium paths for simply supported plates are determined. Numerical examples presented in the present study discuss the effects of gradient index, sandwich plate geometry, geometrical imperfection, temperature dependency, and the elastic foundation parameters.

Free axial vibration of cracked axially functionally graded nanoscale rods incorporating surface effect

  • This work aims to study effects of the crack and the surface energy on the free longitudinal vibration of axially functionally graded nanorods. The surface energy parameters considered are the surface stress, the surface density, and the surface Lamé constants. The cracked nanorod is modelled by dividing it into two parts connected by a linear spring in which its stiffness is related to the crack severity. The surface and bulk material properties are considered to vary in the length direction according to the power law distribution. Hamilton's principle is implemented to derive the governing equation of motion and boundary conditions. Considering the surface stress causes that the derived governing equation of motion becomes non-homogeneous while this was not the case in works that only the surface density and the surface Lamé constants were considered. To extract the frequencies of nanorod, firstly the non-homogeneous governing equation is converted to a homogeneous one using an appropriate change of variable, and then for clamped-clamped and clamped-free boundary conditions the governing equation is solved using the harmonic differential quadrature method. Since the present work considers effects of all the surface energy parameters, it can be claimed that this is a comprehensive work in this regard.

  • 다중제어 Toffoli(multiple-control Toffoli, MCT) 게이트는 원시 게이트에 의존적인 양자 기술을 필요로 하는 매크로 레벨 다치(multiple-valued) 게이트이며, Galois Field sum-of-product(GFSOP)형 양자논리 함수의 합성에 사용되어 왔다. 가역 논리는 저전력 회로 설계를 위한 양자계산(quantum computing, QC)에서 매우 중요하다. 본 논문은 먼저 GF4 가역 승산기를 제안한 후 GF4 승산기 기반의 quaternary MCT 게이트 실현을 제안하였다. MCT 게이트 실현을 위한 비교에서 제안한 MCT 게이트가 다중제어 입력이 증가할수록 종전의 작은 MCT 게이트 합성 방법보다 원시 게이트 수와 게이트 지연을 상당량 줄일 수 있음을 보였다.

EVA/Acetylene Black 복합체의 동역학적 점탄성 분석 (A Study on the Dynamic Viscoelasticity of EVA/Acetylene Black Composites)

  • To measure elastic properties of semiconducting materials in power cable, we have investigated modulus of EVA/acetylene black composite showed by changing the content of acetylene black. The specimen was primarily kneaded in material samples of pellet form for 5 minutes on rollers ranging between 70[$^{\circ}C$] and 100[$^{\circ}C$]. Then this was produced as sheets after pressing for 20 minutes at 180[$^{\circ}C$] with a pressure of 200[kg/cm]. The contents of conductive acetylene black were 20, 30 and 40[wt%], respectively. The modulus experiment was measured by DMA 2980. The ranges of measurement temperature were from -50[$^{\circ}C$] to 100[$^{\circ}C$] and measurement frequency is 1[Hz]. The modulus of specimens was increased according to an increment of acetylene black content. And modulus was rapidly decreased at the glass transition temperature. The tan$\delta$ of specimens was decreased according to an increment of acetylene black content.

The permittivity from experimental result was increased, while tan6 was decreased by an increment of the content of acetylene black. The modulus of specimens was increased according to a increment of a acetylene black content. And modulus was rapidly decreased at the glass transition temperature. The tan$\delta$ of specimens was decreased according to a increment of a acetylene black content.
