역기전력 모델을 이용한 BLDCM의 전류구간 토크 리플 억제 (Commutation Torque Ripple Reduction of BLDCM using Estimated B.E.M.F)

  • 본 논문에선 BLDCM(Brushless DC Motor)의 전류(轉流)구간에서 발생하는 토크리플을 저감시키기 위해 BLDCM의 역기 전력 모델을 이용하여 상승하는 전류와 하강하는 전류의 기울기가 같아지도록 PWM의 턴-온 시간을 실시간으로 제어하는 방식을 제안한다. 제안된 방식에서는 상이 전환되는 구간에서 상전류의 변화량이 스위칭 시간에 따른 인가전압과 전동기 모델방정식 및 예측되는 역기전력 모델에 의해 예측되어지며, 인가하는 전압의 크기는 PWM의 턴-온 시간에 따라 변하게 되므로, 두 전류의 변화량이 같아지도록 하는 스위칭 시간을 계산하여 적용하는 방식이다. 제안된 방식의 유효성은 실제 BLDCM에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 증명하였다.

  • 3상 전압형 인버터는 직류전압을 전원으로 하여 3상 교류로 내보내는 대표적인 전력변환시스템이다. 3상 전압형 인버터의 효율을 극대화 시키는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 현재 시점에 스위칭횟수는 전체 시스템 효율향상에 큰 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 3상 전압형 인버터의 기존 스위칭시퀀스를 탈피하여 간략화 스위칭시퀀스 전략을 도입하여 스위칭손실을 저감시킬 수 있는 3상 전압형 인버터의 SVPWM 제어기법을 제안하고, 유효성을 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해서 검증한다.

  • This report describes CRDCM(Counter Rotating DC Motor) that we have designed, manufactured and tested. CRDCM have two rotating rotors: one is a outer rotor as field set, another is a inner rotor as armature set. One of the most difficult problem is an elimination of the centrifugal force acting on brush when outer rotor is rotated. We solved a problem for centrifugal force of commutation brush by compensation set of counter mass through trial and error. It was verified the performance of motor at present.

  • Auxiliary air compressor(ACM) applied to railroad cars is a device which controls amount of compressed air in order that pantographs can be mounted correctly on the roof of an electric train. Existing ACMs consist of dc motors and brushes wear out due to friction with a commutator. Therefore, continuous maintenance is required. However, three phase BLDC motors have higher power density compared to dc motors and the machine maintenance is not needed because electric commutation is possible. The three phase generally uses hall sensors to get position information and this enables the accurate control. This paper suggests an algorithm that compensates the errors occurred when the hall sensors have a breakdown for stable operation.

  • BLDC 전동기는 선형적인 토크 대 전류, 속도 대 전압 특성을 갖고 있으며 기계적, 전기적인 잡음이 없고, 가감속 제어가 용이하며, 토크 대 관성의 비가 매우 높아 소형으로 높은 출력을 낼 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 그러나 전기자 전류의 전환(Commutation)시 고정자 권선의 인덕턴스 성분과 역기전력으로 인해 발생되는 전류 리플은 BLDC 전동기 토크리플의 중요한 원인이 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 고속 연산이 가능하고 별도의 외부 메모리 없이 칩 하나로 모든 동작을 할 수 있는 TMS320LF2407 DSP칩을 사용, Hard-chopping PWM 방식을 이용하여 전류 리플을 감소시켰으며, 이를 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 증명하였다.

  • This paper is investigated the drive for sensorless BLDC motor using back EMF with ATMEGA-128. Since the BLDC motor should be commutated according to a rotor position. But the sensors increase cost and volume, complicate the motor configuration, and do not operate properly in some operating environments such as high temperature conditions, so that the necessity of sensorless commutation algorithm is getting increased. This paper is proposed the methode to drive BLDC motor without position sensor using Back EMF.

  • A zero voltage switching (ZVS) three level resonant pole inverter is presented for high power GTO inverters. The concept of auxiliary resonant commutated pole(ARCP) for two level inverter is extended to the three level inverter. The proposed auxiliary commutation circuit consists of one resonant inductor and two bi-directional switches, which provides ZVS condition to the main devices without increasing device voltage or current stresses. The auxiliary device operates with zero current switching(ZCS) which enables use of the low cost thyristors. The proposed circuit can handle higher voltage and higher power(1-10MVA) comparing to the two level one. Operation and analysis of the proposed circuit are illustrated. Experimental results with 10 KW, 4 kHz prototype are presented to verify the principle of operation.

  • A superconducting current generator, or a superconducting rectifier(SCR) is used as a current source to energize a superconducting magnets in SMES, MRI. We selected a full-wave SCR among various SCR models and analyzed its operational characteristics by computer simulation. In process of pumping the current, the improvement of performance is dependent on how much bigger the open resistance of the switch is in comparison to load coil impedance when one of two switches become active. Faster transfer can he seen in resistive commutation mode by shortening the time elapsed for the resistance to arrive at certain level from zero state. Although recovery time for the switch has no direct effect on current pumping, optimal switch design is needed to increasing operational frequency.

  • In this paper, we are concerned with the pointwise-hypoellipticity (see Definition 2.1) of an m-dimensional Frobenious Lie algebra L of analytic complex vector fields in somel open subset .ohm. of $R^{m+1}$. That is, L is a set of complex vector fields in .ohm. with (real-) analytic coefficients satisfying: (A) each point of .ohm. has an open neighborhood in which L is generated by m linearly independent elements of L; (B) L is closed under the commutation bracket [A, B]. The pointwise-analytic hypoellipticity of L is completely characterized by M.S. Baouendi and F. Treves in [1]. Here, we shall prove that if L is hypoelliptic at a point then it must be analytic hypoelliptic in a full neighborhood of the same point. When the coefficients are $C^{\infty}$, hypoellipticity of L was discussed in [2].2].

Soft-Switching T-Type Multilevel Inverter

  • In order to improve the conversion efficiency and mitigate the EMI problem of conventional hard-switching inverters, a new soft-switching DC-AC inverter with a compact structure and a low modulation complexity is proposed in this paper. In the proposed structure, resonant inductors are connected in series for the arm branches, and resonant capacitors are connected in parallel for the neutral point branches. With the help of resonant components, the proposed structure achieves zero-current switching on the arm branches and zero-voltage switching on the neutral point branches. When compared with state-of-art soft-switching topologies, the proposed topology does not need auxiliary switches. Moreover, the commutation algorithm to realize soft-switching can be easily implemented. In this paper, the principle of the resonant operation of the proposed soft-switching converter is presented and its performance is verified through simulation studies. The feasibility of the proposed inverter is evaluated experimentally with a 2.4-kW prototype.
