MS Office suit software is the most widely used electronic documents by a large number of users in the world, which has absolute predominance in office software market. MS Office 2007-2013 documents, which use new office open extensible markup language (OOXML) format, could be illegally used as cover mediums to transmit secret information by offenders, because they do not easily arouse others suspicion. This paper proposes nine forensic methods and an integrated forensic tool for OOXML format documents on the basis of researching the potential information hiding methods. The proposed forensic methods and tool cover three categories; document structure, document content, and document format. The aim is to prevent covert communication and provide security detection technology for electronic documents downloaded by users. The proposed methods can prevent the damage of secret information embedded by offenders. Extensive experiments based on real data set demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Purpose: This research presents a practical tool aimed at increasing collaboration between designers and marketers for effective retail space branding. We present a design-related information processing model (DIP Model), which is a schematic map that includes cognitive theories which have design applications to retail space branding. Research design, data and methodology: Through literature review and practitioner opinion survey, 43 theories pertaining to the brand communication in retail spaces were selected, and design applications of the theories were analysed through field trips to stores of global brands. Results: The DIP Model consists of two axes: the information processing axis (i.e., encoding vsretrieval) and the regulatory focus axis(i.e., promotion vs prevention). Theories related to information processing axis are theories that facilitate the encoding and retrieval of information as intended by the company. Theories related to regulatory focus axis are theories that reinforce positive cognition and prevent negative cognition regarding the brand. Conclusions: The DIP Model is developed as a tool to categorise cognitive theories that are applicable to the design of brand communication in retail spaces. As such, the model can provide a better understanding of the role of behavioural design, with the aim of building stronger brands in retail spaces.

최근 대형 디스플레이 장치를 활용한 의사전달행위가 보편화되고 있다. 따라서 효과적인 의사전달을 지원할 수 있도록 대형 디스플레이 장치를 효율적으로 공유하는 것이 바람직하다. VNC(Virtual Network Computing)는 데스크톱 공유 도구로서 다른 지역에 위치한 컴퓨터로 데스크톱 화면을 전송할 수 있다. 또한 VNC를 이용하여 두 명 이상의 사용자가 동시에 같은 데스크톱 화면을 사용할 수 있다. 그러나 현재 VNC가 지원하는 기능만으로 대형 디스플레이 장치를 효율적으로 공유하는 것은 어려운 일이다. 본 논문에서는 VNC를 이용하여 대형 디스플레이 장치를 공유하는 회의도구인 CoDisplay 개발에 대하여 기술한다. 회의 참가자들은 네트워크 주소를 이용하여 대형 디스플레이 장치에 접속하며 자신의 데스크톱 화면을 내장된 VNC를 이용하여 전송한다. 또한 여러 데스크톱 화면을 배열하고 전환하는 기능을 통하여 대형 디스플레이 장치를 효과적으로 공유할 수 있다.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between caring thinking and communication skills of childcare center teachers, and the effect of caring thinking on communication skills. Methods: The subjects of this study were 152 teachers working at childcare centers in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The research tool used was a self-reporting questionnaire in order to examine caring thinking and the communication skills of those teachers. For the data analysis, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used. Results: First, there were significant differences in caring thinking and communication skills according to the age and academic background of the teachers. Second, there was a significant positive correlation between caring thinking and the communication skills of the teachers. Third, responsibility, respect, and a non-directive attitude among the sub-factors of the teachers had a significant impact on communication skills. Conclusion/Implications: In this study, it was found that caring thinking of the teachers was one of the variables that improved communication skills. These results suggest that there is a need to provide various programs and support for enhancing caring thinking as one of the ways to develop the communication skills of childcare center teachers.

본 논문에서는 GSM/DCS/PCS대역에서 사용할 수 있는 변형된 IFA형태의 내장형 안테나를 설계하고 이를 제작하였다. 본 논문에서는 실제 상용화된 휴대단말기의 내장형 안테나를 3D Tool을 이용하여 전류 흐름의 상쇄작용을 고려하여 3중 대역을 형성시켰으며, Stub의 길이에 따라 변화하는 반사소실 특성을 확인하였다. 설계된 안테나를 제작 측정한 결과 기존의 안테나 보다 약 10.9%, 1.57dB 특성이 개선되었다.

A remote data communication system for monitoring of NC machine fault diagnosis and status is developed. This system communicates with host PC by using dial-up communication method on PSTN. The developed system consists of (1)remote communication module among NC's and host PC using PSTN, (2) 8 channels analog data sensing module, (3) digital I/O module for control of NC machine, (4) communication module between NC machine and remote data communication system using RS-232c, and (5) Software man-machine interface. This system may be applied for remote sensing of the status in Fms. To show the veridity of the developed system, several examples are illustrated.

In this paper, we present a VR-based interface method which provides users more natural, realistic, and interactive communication and collaboration tool. Since most services in the communication systems matches with the services in the real world, the best understanding would be achieved when the communication services are represented in accordance with the services in the real world. However, conventional text-based interface and 2D GUI cannot provide such reality to the users. In this paper, we discuss VR-based interface to overcome such difficulty and introduce one instance of communication system using the VR-based realistic, what we call Virtual Village, which we are currently developing. This application might be applied to education in virtual space, desktop conferencing system, and entertainment such as MUD or the games in the distributed environment, etc.

The marketing literature suggests that personal relationships between customers and service providers influence consumers' evaluation of goods and services. In this paper, we investigate the effects of service providers' conversation types (non-physical communication) on customers' evaluation and satisfaction in conversation with service providers. The empirical results show that the non-physical communication affect consumers' satisfaction in communication with service providers. This implies that the non-physical communication could be considered as a strategic tool when corporations need to differentiate their services from competitors to gain an advantage in competition.

To examine the role IM plays, We focus on the factors that promote or hinder communication within a Korean organization when instant messenger is used. These factors were examined through two research questions. To understand these issues, a survey consisting of 33 categories was given to government and corporate office workers in Seoul, Korea. The survey results showed that Instant Messenger is recognized as a powerful communication tool in official organizations, but is only used effectively within groups or generations that do not follow the hierarchical relationships characterized by Confucian values. The results of this study fill a gap in our understanding of the important role of IM use in organizational effectiveness and may prove useful when developing tools and strategies to help promote communication within organizations using information technology media.

근래에 우리나라의 태안앞바다의 유조선 기름유출사고, 질산 2000톤 실은 선박 침몰, 국보1호인 숭례문 화재등 많은 재난이 발생하여 수많은 사상자가 발생하였다. 이에 따라 재해에 대한 대비와 재난이 발생하였을 때의 신속한 정보전달이 중요한 요인이 되었다. 따라서 재해를 감지한 관측지에서 재난의 영향이 우려되는 지역으로의 신속한 정좌 전달체계를 확립하고, 국가통합무선통신망을 구축시스템 개발함으로써 재해 피해로 인한 국민의 재산과 생명의 손실을 최소화 하는데 이바지 하고자 한다.
