  • The development of IT technology and information communication networks activated to online financial transactions; the users were able to get a variety of financial services. However, unlike the positive effect that occurred on 7 July 2009 DDoS(Distribute Denial of Service) attacks, such as damaging to the user, which was caused negative effects. Authentication technology(OTP) is used to online financial transaction, which should be reviewed to safety with various points because the unpredictable attacks can bypass the authentication procedure such as phishing sites, which is occurred. Thus, this paper proposes mobile OTP(One Time Password) Mechanism, which is based on PKI to improve the safety of OTP authentication. The proposed Mechanism is operated based on PKI; the secret is transmitted safely through signatures and public key encryption of the user and the authentication server. The users do not input in the web site, but the generated OTP is directly transmitted to the authentication server. Therefore, it is improvement of the availability of the user and the resolved problem is exposed from the citibank phishing site(USA) in 2006.

  • The Internet including mobile networks is developing to overcoming the limitation of physical distance and providing or acquiring information from remote locations. However, the systems that use video as primary information require higher bandwidth for recognizing the situation in remote places more accurately through high-quality video as well as lower latency for faster interaction between devices and users. The emergence of the 5th generation mobile network provides features such as high bandwidth and precise location recognition that were not experienced in previous-generation technologies. In addition, the Mobile Edge Computing that minimizes network latency in the mobile network requires a change in the traditional system architecture that was composed of the existing smart device and high availability server system. However, even with 5G and MEC, since there is a limit to overcome the mobile network state fluctuations only by enhancing the network infrastructure, this study proposes a high-definition video streaming system in ultra-low latency based on the SRT protocol that provides Forward Error Correction and Fast Retransmission. The proposed system shows how to deploy software components that are developed in consideration of the nature of 5G and MEC to achieve sub-1 second latency for 4K real-time video streaming. In the last of this paper, we analyze the most significant factor in the entire video transmission process to achieve the lowest possible latency.

  • The primary purpose of this paper is to explore the advanced models that predict entrepreneurial innovativeness most accurately. For the first time in the field of entrepreneurship research, it presents a model that predicts entrepreneurial innovativeness based on machine learning corresponding to data scientific approaches. It uses 22,099 the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) data from 62 countries to build predictive models. Based on the data set consisting of 27 explanatory variables, it builds predictive models that are traditional statistical methods such as multiple regression analysis and machine learning models such as regression tree, random forest, XG boost, and artificial neural networks. Then, it compares the performance of each model. It uses indicators such as root mean square error (RMSE), mean analysis error (MAE) and correlation to evaluate the performance of the model. The analysis of result is that all five machine learning models perform better than traditional methods, while the best predictive performance model was XG boost. In predicting it through XG boost, the variables with high contribution are entrepreneurial opportunities and cross-term variables of market expansion, which indicates that the type of entrepreneur who wants to acquire opportunities in new markets exhibits high innovativeness.

  • This study collected and analyzed case studies related with the use of spatial information in North Korea to prioritize construction and required supporting processes in order to propose a short-term and long-term road map for the establishment of spatial information in North Korea. Recent research cases related to the prioritization of spatial information development were analyzed, and priority for the construction of infrastructure was derived based on the interconnectedness and relationship of national infrastructure. Due to the inaccessibility and remoteness of North Korea, all of the five studies determined priorities according to questionnaires and consulting of refugees and knowledgeable figures by expert groups. In summary, priority was given to unarmed and transborder areas, major cities, special zones, and development zones, while in terms of facilities, priority was given to power communication, railroads, water and sewage architectural buildings, roads, and dams. In the case of prioritizing the establishment of national infrastructure for the unified Korean Peninsula, the development of major areas, ports, and the related city-level spots to develop a line that promotes the sharing of routes such as transportation networks, water, and energy, thus leading to a scenario involving the development of cotton at an urban and national level.

  • In various industrial fields and infrastructure based on electronic components, such as communication equipment, transportation, computer networks, and military equipment, the need for electromagnetic pulse shielding has increased. Two methods for applying electromagnetic pulse shielding are effective. The first is construction using shielding materials, such as shielding concrete, shielding doors, and shielding windows. The other is coating shielding paints on non-shielding structures. Electromagnetic pulse shielding paints are made using conductive materials, such as carbon nanotubes, graphite, carbon black, and carbon fiber. In this paint, electromagnetic pulse shielding performance is added to the commonly used water-based paint. In this study, the shielding effectiveness and bonding performance of paints using conductive graphite and carbon black as shielding materials were evaluated to develop electromagnetic pulse shielding inorganic paints. The shielding effectiveness and bonding performance were evaluated by applying six mixtures composed of different kinds and amounts of shielding material. The mixture of conductive graphite and carbon black at a weight ratio of 1:0.2 was the most effective in shielding as 33.6 dB. Furthermore, the mixture produced using conductive graphite only showed the highest bonding performance of 1.06 MPa.

  • Recently, the untact healthcare industry due to COVID-19 has been attracting attention, and the telemedicine industry based on medical information has become a field of the healthcare industry receiving attention. However, in Korea, due to obstacles in the legal system, telemedicine is still illegal between doctors and patients. In the case of neighboring China, the reality is the opposite of the recent rapid growth of the telemedicine industry under the leadership of the government. This study looks at this from the perspective of the industrial innovation system on the grounds that telemedicine is an industry and innovative technology needs to be changed to clarify the difference between domestic and Chinese telemedicine industries. As a result of analyzing China's telemedicine industry on the seven sub-divisions of demand conditions, innovators, networks et al., Such as seizing appropriate opportunities for demand driving effects and appropriate communication between economic actors were identified as major success factors. This researcher proposes the following suggestions. first, it conforms to the current digital New Deal policy flow, and conducts a demand survey on the change in demand for medical services in the 4th Industrial Revolution and the Untact Era. For the introduction, a plan to conduct a demand survey for the public and second, second, a plan to grow and intensively foster digital high-tech medical care as a new industry was suggested.

  • Recently, applying artificial intelligence technologies in various fields of production has drawn an upsurge of research interest due to the increase for smart factory and artificial intelligence technologies. A great deal of effort is being made to introduce artificial intelligence algorithms into the defect detection task. Particularly, detection of defects on the surface of metal has a higher level of research interest compared to other materials (wood, plastics, fibers, etc.). In this paper, we compare and analyze the speed and performance of defect classification by combining machine learning techniques (Support Vector Machine, Softmax Regression, Decision Tree) with dimensionality reduction algorithms (Principal Component Analysis, AutoEncoders) and two convolutional neural networks (proposed method, ResNet). To validate and compare the performance and speed of the algorithms, we have adopted two datasets ((i) public dataset, (ii) actual dataset), and on the basis of the results, the most efficient algorithm is determined.

  • Often a network becomes complex, and multiple entities would get in charge of managing part of the whole network. An example is a utility grid. While the entire grid would go under a single utility company's responsibility, the network is often split into multiple subsections. Subsequently, each subsection would be given as the responsibility area to the corresponding sub-organization in the utility company. The issue of how to make subsystems of adequate size and minimum number of interconnections between subsystems becomes more critical, especially in real-time simulations. Because the computation capability limit of a single computation unit, regardless of whether it is a high-speed conventional CPU core or an FPGA computational engine, it comes with a maximum limit that can be completed within a given amount of execution time. The issue becomes worsened in real time simulation, in which the computation needs to be in precise synchronization with the real-world clock. When the subject of the computation allows for a longer execution time, i.e., a larger time step size, a larger portion of the network can be put on a computation unit. This translates into a larger margin of the difference between the worst and the best. In other words, even though the worst (or the largest) computational burden is orders of magnitude larger than the best (or the smallest) computational burden, all the necessary computation can still be completed within the given amount of time. However, the requirement of real-time makes the margin much smaller. In other words, the difference between the worst and the best should be as small as possible in order to ensure the even distribution of the computational load. Besides, data exchange/communication is essential in parallel computation, affecting the overall performance. However, the exchange of data takes time. Therefore, the corresponding consideration needs to be with the computational load distribution among multiple calculation units. If it turns out in a satisfactory way, such distribution will raise the possibility of completing the necessary computation in a given amount of time, which might come down in the level of microsecond order. This paper presents an effective way to split a given electrical network, according to multiple criteria, for the purpose of distributing the entire computational load into a set of even (or close to even) sized computational loads. Based on the proposed system splitting method, heavy computation burdens of large-scale electrical networks can be distributed to multiple calculation units, such as an RTDS real time simulator, achieving either more efficient usage of the calculation units, a reduction of the necessary size of the simulation time step, or both.

  • Traditionally, the engineering field has been dominated by face-to-face education focused on experimental practice, but demand for online learning has soared due to the rapid development of IT technology and Internet communication networks and recent changes in the social environment such as COVID-19. In order for efficient online education to be conducted in the engineering field, where the proportion of experimental practice is relatively high compared to other fields, virtual laboratory practice content that can replace actual experimental practice is very necessary. In this study, we developed a line tracer model and a virtual experimental software to simulate it for efficient online learning of microprocessor applications that are essential not only in the electric and electronic field but also in the overall engineering field where IT convergence takes place. In the developed line tracer model, the user can set various hardware parameter values in the desired form and write the software in assembly language or C language to test the operation on the computer. The developed line tracer virtual experimental software has been used in actual classes to verify its operation, and is expected to be an efficient virtual experimental practice tool in online non-face-to-face classes.

  • This paper introduces a low-power compact ADC circuit for analog Convolutional filter for low-power neural network accelerator SOC. While convolutional neural network accelerators can speed up the learning and inference process, they have drawback of consuming excessive power and occupying large chip area due to large number of multiply-and-accumulate operators when implemented in complex digital circuits. To overcome these drawbacks, we implemented an analog convolutional filter that consists of an analog multiply-and-accumulate arithmetic circuit along with an ADC. This paper is focused on the design optimization of a low-power 8bit SAR ADC for the analog convolutional filter accelerator We demonstrate how to minimize the capacitor-array DAC, an important component of SAR ADC, which is three times smaller than the conventional circuit. The proposed ADC has been fabricated in CMOS 65nm process. It achieves an overall size of 1355.7㎛2, power consumption of 2.6㎼ at a frequency of 100MHz, SNDR of 44.19 dB, and ENOB of 7.04bit.
