The current study examined the difference of the college students' perceived stress and stress coping style according to the communication competence and communication amount & depth. Firstly, the differences of college students' perceived stress was shown according to their communication competence. Communication time (amount) and depth also affect their perceived stress. In detail, higher appropriateness and effectiveness were, the weaker the stress was. Secondly, the differences of college students' stress coping style was shown according to their communication competence, communication amount and depth. In detail, respondents who have high appropriateness showed the active stress coping style more. And respondents who have high effectiveness showed the active stress coping style more. Limitations and suggestions for future study were discussed thereafter.

Diversity of available communication media has increased as the use of Internet and mobile technology increased rapidly. The traditional media tend to transform their roles and functionality. This change brings about the expansion of the span of media to be selected by users. In this study, we examined the characteristics of emerging communication media use based on Niche Theory. Online communication media in this study include Internet messenger, mobile phone, and e-mail. We also analyzed the relationship between the nature of task and the selection of communication media, that is, the effects of communication contexts(formal vs. informal, notification vs. request, superior vs. inferior) where by the communication partners are involved. The result of this study, mobile phone had the highest niche competitive superiority in all communication contexts, and internet messenger and e-mail made difference according to communication contexts. Also, we can notify internet messenger and e-mail have a mutual substitutive relationship by analysis of niche overlap.

Purpose: This research was done in order to provide basic data for future research on communication and development of programs. Research methods and key areas of previous nursing research on communication in Korea were analyzed. Method: Journals with themes or titles 'nurse-patient communication', 'nursing and communication' and 'interaction between nurse-patient' were searched through internet search engines. Results: The most prevalent research design was survey and nurses were the main participants. Questionnaire was the most frequently used method to obtain the necessary data for the research. The most frequent nursing research topic regarding communication in Korea was the form of the communications such as 'types of communication', and 'organizational communication'. Conclusion: For future nursing research regarding communications in Korea, the participants and themes should be broadened. There is also a need to develop objective methods to measure and assess the results of communication so as to enable actual application of the results of the studies.

This study identifies communication patterns of groups using synchronous text communication medium for their group decision-making, and examines how these patterns are associated with creative solutions to problems. Our research suggests that certain communication behavior of groups, when appropriately organized, can be of help in enhancing creative production of outcomes. A qualitative study was conducted on communication patterns based on an analysis of text-based electronic conversation protocols. Specifically this research tried to overcome existing studies on electronic groups by focusing on interactive process of communication among participants. The major study conclusion; are: (1) The production of creative outcome may depend on the process or sequence of discussion among group members with synchronous text communication medium. That is, proper interactive responses and appropriate control of the discussion process are essential to obtain a high level of performance. (2) It is importantto make discuss rules based on meta-cognitive and interactive protocols in the early stage. Explicit rules relating to internal group processes as well as communication medium use are even more important to groups with electronic communication medium than face-to-face groups.

The purposes of this study were to find out general trends of mother-adolescent communication patterns and to analyze communication variables which influence on family cohesion and adaptability. The subjects were 386 high school students and their mothers living in Kwang-ju. PACI and FACESIII were used to measure mother-adolescent communication patterns and family cohesion and adaptability. The results are as follows : Mothers highly perceived open communication pattern with adolescents, but adolescents perceived close communication more. Communication patterns, family cohesion and adaptability showed significant differences in according to communication variables as communication time and satisfaction. Family cohesion and adaptability were significantly different in according to communication patterns. Especially, open communication pattern between mothers and adolescents was the most important in order to increase family cohesion and adaptability.

This research's purpose is to investigate follows. 1. How do middle school teachers recognize the mathematical communication globally? 2. If we classify the modes of mathematical communication as written, spoken, graphic and active ones, how much do teachers use them and how do the students' communication ability come as teachers judge? 3. What are teachers' thinking, the present condition and the future indication for the application of mathematical communication with computer? 4. Do teachers evaluate their students' communication ability? If then, what is the assessment rubric of student's communication ability? The results are analyzed by frequency analysis including percentile and free writings are arranged by similar responses. The result of this study is that global recognition for mathematical communication, current state for students' concrete performance of mathematical communication, and assessment of mathematical communication & proposals are very lacking.

We applied digital image processing about BitMap file structure in this research and studied about digital communication system. digital record saving devices can express 'High' and 'Low' as all data. Only, digital technique that two expression methods is used into several expenditures. People and communication that are far away by development of digital technology, became smooth. We wished to make communication system taking advantage of digi-tech. This system was made for communication with disabled and normal person specially. To communication method that we are studied such BitMap file handling image communication system. The goal of this contribution is to present the overview of basic algorithms for image processing using BitMap.

As the IT industry has developed, the frequency of mobile communication usage has increased sharply. Mobile communication has many advantages such as improving work performance, communication beyond time and local constraints, and rapid and vast amounts of information exchange. However, mobile communication also allows supervisors to give their subordinates work at any time. Thus, mobile communication may also have a negative impact on workers' stress levels during non-work time. This study examined required time, urgent business, personal engagement, and trivial matters as sub-dimensions of mobile communication messages that workers could receive during non-work time. Further, the nature of the relationship between team leaders and members explains how these messages may increase the stress levels of workers. Supervisors should prohibit the use of such mobile communication, and efforts should be made at the enterprise level. Through this research, we aim to explain the dual nature of mobile communication, and understand how to optimize the usage of this innovative technology

In this paper, we proposed availability evaluation of network in mobile communication network that have hand off structure. Radio mobile communication network is essential hand off action to keep communication that is no discontinuance by transfer of terminal. Part by state and hand off state ago hand off by transfer of terminal and communication network is estimated performance according to the hand off rate and hand off completion rate of system. we applied MS, SM, MM communication structure in radio CORBA for network availability evaluate. System availability in mobile communication network that can repair that propose in this study uses the hand off rate and hand off completion rate of system by transfer of terminal and availability of whole system did evaluate.

In this paper, we propose context information communication system using RF module to prevent railway cross accident. Since the communication module transmits to the train with high bit rate, OFDM(Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) modulation method that distributes high speed data and transmits multiple times is applied. And image information is transmitted to the train's transceiver device by using ISM band (2.4GHz frequency band) that is proper to mobile communication. By using this system, we can deal with urgent situations at the railway cross and prevent railway cross accidents in advance.
